How KOOOOOL!, that you are fixing these up for your Cousins! Looks like they really LOVE those dolls and play with them often. ;-) Just think, you may be setting them up for a Life Time of AG Collecting, like you. I have used Oxidol Spray Laundry Cleaner on the Fabric of AG, mostly on Vintage Bitty Babys with GREAT success! I mean; ground in, nasty, I don't even want know what it might have been, deep, stains OUT! I was so pleased. I took the stuffing out and SOAKED, and soaked again, scrubbed with toothbrush, the fabric, I also clean the stuffing, spray cleaned then after it dries, restuff. YOU DID A REALLY NICE JOB ON THEIR HAIR!
Thank you for your video I’m just wondering if some fabric paint you could match up to cover up those numbers and then so the holes and make some patches just a suggestion good job
Truly me 53's marker at the front neckline can be removed by lightly wetting her body, cover completely with thin layer of benzoil peroxide, and let her set for most of the day. Then dip a old toothbrush in water and scrub, Let dry completely and it will have lightened up some. Repeat these steps as needed, and I believe it will take the marker away. Hope it works for you!
Hello! I'm new here and I had a question. How do you flip the up the ends of hte hair on a doll? I'm currently expecting a #23 to fix up and I have been worried about how I will do that. Thanks!
People do some questionable things with their dolls, lol. I ordered a julie doll off ebay that had a bunch of needle dents on her nose and ears like the previous owner had attempted to give her piercings. I also got a Chrissa doll with nail polish in her teeth. I've thought about trying nail polish remover but I don't want to accidentally remove the paint on the mouth/teeth. Happy to say that my dolls worst features come from their previous owners XD
Hi I am new to your channel I collect AG dolls and other dolls too I just want to know how do you identify the AG doll if you don’t know who she is will you let me know thanks have a bless day I did like and subscribe
Hello! To identify dolls I either post them on my Instagram story and ask my followers for help or post in the various American Girl Facebook groups that I am a part of.
THEY TURNED OUT SO GOOD! Honestly their hair turned out way better than I thought. Start your own doll hospital 😂
LynnLife thank you! My family has said the same thing 😂

Thank you so much!!!
Sorry, I’m just seeing this now! I just wanted to say that you did such an excellent job fixing them up! I hope it made your cousins really happy!
Great video! You want to use a metal comb or brush like the American Girl brush or a wig brush to prevent frizzles for each combing
American girl can replace the torso for Kit and they do a great job cause I have sent 4 ag dolls to the doll hospital before

What is the outfit name on truly me 68?
I believe it was an off brand outfit
would you or anyone know how to fix cut hair dolls? like mine i cut her hair many years ago, and now it’s really thin and gross. (she’s TM#33 btw)
I think that the best option would be to send her to the doll hospital for a new head just because she has a haircut.
@@kylacollects oohh okay! thank you!
is it bad i want to get a FITH DOLL? lol im addicted.
Yikes poor dolls
