Hello, you should trim the hair at the ends 1in to 1/2in or less depending on the frizzy dry ends. Then spray the hair wet and set it in pink colored perm rods or larger gray rods or even lager purple for wavy curls . Only use the red rods for textured ethnic hair. You must let it set for at least 1 1/2 weeks in the rods to set her hair. For extremely unruly hair it might take two weeks to a month to set the hair. Look up a RUclips video on how to use perm rods. But over all you did a great job. I just started to resort AG dolls hair and I’m a licensed hairstylist so far this trick has worked for me.
That’s fascinating thank you. I only have the light blue extra small perm rods and the extra small foam rollers for my AG dolls. I usually prefer to trim the dry ends of the curls and finger-style the curls (AG curls always curl towards the left)

Great tutorial! I just sat down after filming my own Rebecca makeover and found yours! It is so interesting seeing everyone’s different style. I want to try repainting too. I have a few dolls that need their lips done. Your doll turned out very good considering how she started. Your Rebecca definitely has cut bangs. I found her hair naturally curled back with finger twisting. Your blush painting looks so beautiful and on the nose does look cute!😃

love all your channels alyssa ❤️ i use fabric softener actually for my ag dolls and barbie dolls if their hair is fried, dry, and frizzy and it works wonders. as well as boil washing too. my dolls came out fine and nothing has happened to their hair. you should try it though, but to each their own ig. great vid btw, can't wait to see more restorations ☺️ loving them ❤️

You did a great job. You might be able to buy her original Rebecca wig online. Just to let you know in case you don't know American girl will not just replace the wig. I learned they replace the entire American girl doll head when I bought a Felicity doll with all of her hair cut off.

If you ask me, don't purchase a wig for the doll: the work you made restored the doll to her true identity and this new hairstyle fits very well on her. As I also have a Rebecca, I can say that you restored her true essence: I like the pink shade on her cheeks and, this is important, you found her original outfit (my doll has a different one: ruclips.net/video/-tO0FKwoBqE/видео.html - i haven't her original dress).
I think she tirned out really lovely. Nobody is perfect. She is so cite with her blushing cheeks.
