I tried coming out to my parents two times, one time they got really mad and the second time they just denied it. They’re homophobic, and they aren’t changing anytime soon. Im happy these people are so strong and their family so accepting. For everyone out there: YOU’RE VALID. WHO YOU ARE, WHO YOU LOVE, WHO YOU SUPPORT, ITS ALL PART OF YOU, OF AN AMAZING PERSON. I know it’s weird coming from someone on the internet you dont know, but trust me, it’ll all be fine. In the end, your happiness is the only thing that matters. Take care luvs

That's like me. I came out to my parents and they told me to "pick one" when I was fifteen and then completely denied ever finding out that I was bi...yeah, they know now, but I think they're still trying to deny it or keep it hidden...they told me not to tell anyone in the family that I'm bi...

At first my mom(and dad)didn’t support me coming out as bi. But now she has been buying Pride stuff but that probably because it’s Pride month. But I’m omni/pan and non-binary.

What do they get to say about your love life? You can't help but love who you love- it isn't your fault. It doesn't matter whether it's your fault or not.
If they can't support you, all because you aren't 'society's ideal,' they don't deserve you. I haven't come out, so I don't know how stressful and scary it is, but I do know everyone should be able to understand if someone they love is different, despite not being what you expected.
You're not broken. Don't tell yourself this is 'just a phase,' when it obviously isn't. You aren't useless, unnecessary, something to be thrown away and discarded.

So I became bisexual because of asmr role plays and got interested in boys and thought I am gay but then I remember dating this girl and thinking day to night. From there I first told my mom and just her because I trust her out of everyone, so then I eventually saw my self as bisexual but still he/him, I just didn’t think of having they/them would be good to refer to me. So yeah I don’t want to tell my entire family (because I already did tell them but not how) how I turned bisexual and they would think I am weird, not even my mom.

I`m bisexual and ofcourse that i just ever tell them yet, i don`t come out with them for some of the resons. First that cuz i heard that my parents start talking about LGBTQ+, i think that they`ll feeling that it was okay, but no, they aren`t the homophobia, but they`re kinda not agree about it, so i just think that...i should never come out with them...
