Thank you for sharing! Very exciting to see what is included with the bike. I also just ordered a bike from Intense and was able to benefit from the discount program being a military veteran 👍🏻 Intense has some really nice, quality products for sure. Hope you're enjoying yours! Again, thank you for taking the time to share with us and thank you for your efforts in your profession, physical therapists are my favorite medical people!
Thank you Sir for your service 🫡 . Hope they will include the same free tools like mine.. I have been enjoying riding my Intense bike so far.. hope you too! My bike has been problem free and have some few upgrades already.. lol Have fun on your new bike and happy 4th of July!
@@weekendadventurelife8665 Thank you very much sir! Glad to hear that your bikes has been awesome for you. Definitely cant wait to log some miles in on mine! 🇺🇸👍🏻
Nice video! Thanks for the info. Hopefully I will be purchasing the exact same bike as yours, let me know how it rides and if it’s a good bike for about 4K.
My opinion, 27.5 is more agile, easier to maneuver on switchbacks and tight trails.. while 29er is more on rocky trails, eats rocks on downhill and uphills and for taller rider..it really depends on the trails in your area... hope that helps..
I think it's Actually a good thing. You have something to strive for and when,, you get there one day oh hell will you be proud to buy it YOURSELF! Follow your dream and get it one day 😊👍
@@weekendadventurelife8665 Oh sweet yeah, I got my Primer in the box from a bike shop. Maybe they don't include them because they assume the bike shop is going to build it. lol
I don’t know how they marked up the prices these bikes to 6-8k that’s very idiots although they’re very high quality or carbon etc, it’s a big markup! There are a lot of ways better bikes out there, or get the Sondor MetaCycle worthy
Probably inflation and demand, make the prices even higher..what’s even worst is my bike friends are transitioning to E-mtb, those bikes runs from 8-12K..
Intense are decent bikes but way overpriced. They don't even have the best of shimano or sram component's. What are the brakes? Shimano XT? For 8000$ any mountain bike should have the best of the best parts. And I didn't even mention the wheels yet. As far as I'm concerned Shimano XTR is the cream of the crop and it seems with intense you pay for the name and it does not matter if its carbon. 7005 aluminum is far superior. And let me guess the cranks are carbon? That's a big no no.
I agree, most name brand bikes are overpriced…i got this brand new Intense bike last year under $4K, the shimano components are mid level including the SRAM drivetrain, this year they bump the price over 4K now.. the cranks and wheelsets are all aluminum.. carbon looks nicer due to seemless joints ang lighter, thats why its more expensive..
@@weekendadventurelife8665 Do your research. Carbon is not lighter than 7005 aluminum. Carbon is very " beefy " meaning you need layer upon layer of carbon sheets when it's built to make it stiff that is why it's heavier. And the only reason why it costs more because more labor is involved in making it. Carbon is nothing but a marketing scheme to " sell". And when it comes to welds on the seams of aluminum you need a professional and reputable bike manufacturer to do weld it properly. 7005 aluminum is far superior than any carbon and carbon is no where near it in any technical way. Carbon is nothing but a " fad " .
@@battistaverardi1240 , ur right, more labor time to make carbon frame, but carbon look nicer than aluminum frame..that’s why its expensive.. and they market it for status symbol for enthusiast or pro riders…
@@weekendadventurelife8665 I some what agree with you but a lot of pro riders use aluminum specifically 7005 as well because it's about functionality not about pretty looks even though aluminum is beautiful and when the welds are done right it looks amazing!
@@battistaverardi1240 , yes for aluminum , esp for pro downhill riders.. At the end of the day , its all about business bro, thats’s how manufacturers survive and make more profit, creative marketing for the masses to spend money on expensive bikes…

nice video sir! I just preordered a primer 275 in a medium size with my healthcare worker discount, can't wait to get em!
Thank you! Nice bro! Have fun and Enjoy riding on your new bike!

Sure, will let you know as soon as i will hit the trail...
Where did you buy it. I am looking for one
Hey nice video. Where do you get the integrated mudguards?
I got it from Competitivecyclist.com
I am debating if i should get the Intense Primer 29” instead of the 27.5 any suggestions, comments, concerns? Thank you

29 always
Is it just me or does intense make the coolest looking bikes ?
Yes ..The color scheme of intense bike frames make it stands out...

YES it's super cool if I have money for sure I will by it
@@naskofilms4077 you only like solid color bikes with no pop.
Yes!!! We have always loved their downhill bikes when we were younger in our 20’s. I love their tazer dj bike
Intense is better of course. If you plan to sell your santa mtb, let me know. From Philippines
Will let you know , for sure...lol
What Fox jacket is that
Its just a regular Fox windbraker jacket..
Looking at buying a used one right now
I want a santa cruse high tower carbon
I’d say Santa Cruz is better I just bout a 2021 Santa Cruz blur cc XO1 trail for $7000 bike is really fast and feels really nice
Yup! My SC 5010 is more agile...your Blur is perfect for XC rides , man, wow! you got a top Spec bike...XO1 ...enjoy ur new bike!
I just bought my intense after wishing for one like forever and its not a highend its 952 but im stoak
For others it’s nothing for me always a dream bike 😭

I got the intense carbine because of many reasons including the color. The Santa Cruz colors just don’t do it for me..
SC bikes color scheme is simple.. while intense has more artistic scheme..lol
@@weekendadventurelife8665 and they make it pop without making it an eyesore, at least with the newer bikes.
Damn! I bought mine from a bike shop, and I didn't receive the box with the torque wrench and pump.
You can try to ask them...mine came in free inside the bike box...

the head tube section on the intense is huge and looks out of proportion.

Intense is the better looking bike
The intense
Bos ko, maganda yun hightower mo!
Salamat Pare..👍🏼
I bought a new intense frame and got none of that
Probably for complete built bike only…
Intense makes a much better bike than Santa Cruz.
Pare, hopefully you have removed the dork disc by now
Yep! I took it off the first time i hit the trail…lol😆
What happened to your chameleon?
I upgraded it to this full sus Santa Cruz 5010..i really miss my HT..planning to get one soon...

For about a $1000 more you could get a ibis MOJO hd4 much much better I honestly think it's over priced
