    To people who may not be familiar with Cardfight!! Vanguard (TCG), trigger units are cards with a yellow-colour base and normal units (non-trigger units) are cards with a black-colour base.

    That reminds me of way back when I played YGO at school. I remember rigging my hand a few times just to flex these crazy highrolly combos I came up with. Nobody ever caught me, but I stopped since it was boring. You're just replaying that one game over and over again. With a cheat like the one you mentioned, it's hard to call someone out on it, unless you straight up say aloud when they'll hit a trigger to show them that you know what they're up to. What I saw in a TV show once was that they used gel which would identify the high cards of the deck. I thought you were doing that, but then I noticed you predicted the cards before you even touched the cards.

    • @EntropyVanguard
      @EntropyVanguard  4 года назад +3

      Yeah man. There’s always a way. That’s the essence of magic! But yeah. I found it so hard to call people out, and found it even harder to believe I’d get support. I just hope people can learn to catch these players themselves and be more confident in apprehending them!

    • @johnnywu8708

      @@EntropyVanguard Agreed, both cheating and calling someone for cheating out requires finesse. Otherwise, you either get caught, or you get seen as a poor loser. Like calling someone out after you lose looks bad unless you can show how it's done with the opponent's deck, which is pretty tricky if you can't get the support of the spectators or judges.

    I commonly double sleeve my decks due to using bushi sleeves and I've noticed my cards do this from time to time, luckily I have a habit of tapping my deck on the back of my hand to even the cards out as much as I can, so any time my cards do this it's accidently and I don't even know which ones they are anyways, but it's sad to see that something so simple can be abused, and would also possibly get innocents in trouble as well, but still good to know this is a method that some people try.

It’s easier if you spot the cheat but if they have ther key card in hand they will usually give it away ie looking at that card too much moving it to the back of the hand etc
