LR3 needs thermostat

The top radiator hose came off. I suspect it was from a bad thermostat. During my diagnosis I removed the thermostat from the housing. This lead to overheating and replacing many parts of the cooling system. After I flushed all the coolant, installed a new pump, installed a new thermostat housing and a radiator I finally put in a new thermostat. The engine finally runs correct. The issue was the thermostat. These engines can not run without a thermostat. The housing directs the flow in two directions and without a thermostat installed it will overheat.

This took me some time to figure out. It's weird but the engine just won't run correctly without the thermostat. Other engines won't get up to normal operating temperature but this engine overheats very quickly.

Makes sense we can't get the heater to get hot but motor over heats
