  • How to undo BA BF FG Falcon Auto Trans filler plug tips, I was partly draining my trans at the time.
If all else fails to take burred filler plug out use chisel and hammer, have seen them use this method and it is out in 3 minutes.

Fancy being a Ford Mechanic day in day out working on Barra engines installed in the vehicle .
Appreciate your efforts in demonstrating your way around this awkward filler bolt . We own 3 of them ,Barra Falcons at the moment .

If all else fails to take burred filler plug out use a chisel and hammer, have seen them use this method and it is out in 3 minutes. Take it to a mechanical workshop if you don't have a hoist to do it and let them do it cheers.

If all else fails to take burred filler plug out use chisel and hammer, easy if you access to a hoist, have seen them use this method and it is out in 3 minutes.

Mate all day I’ve been trying to find the drain plug to re-fill the transmission fluid. Nothing online, nothing in the owners manual. Would you know where the drain plug is for a 2009 Falcon FG ? Automatic transmission. XR6.. just worried I pump the fluid into the wrong place 😌

There is no drain plug on these model Fords you have to take the pan off, see my is leaking in this video as I have undone the pan bolts a little to drain some fluid off to add an adaptive to do a total fluid replacement you need to take the pan off and best to put a new kit in as well cheers.
