Yes! I actually beat the Crucible with my level 30 character using this exploit plus a very broken health/wrath steal scythe. I ended up with about 350% crit damage and a 100% crit chance so each scythe hit was doing 7-9k damage. The Crucible was not very hard as a consequence.
This glitch doesn't work on PS4 anymore. You can however try to find a good set of possessed weapons and glitch them. You can do this by fully upgrading them, dropping them, picking them back up(they should still have the stats from when you dropped them), and upgrading them again. Not sure how many times you can do it but I've gotten a pair of lvl 10 scythe to 180-208 dmg, defense 143, arcane crit chance 26%, health regen 209, health per kill 140. I don't take much dmg on easy anymore, bosses do like 1 dmg and then I heal it back instantly. EDIT: The possessed weapons glitch works a little too well, you can do it as many times as you want, and you can get your upgrade materials for free from Vulgrim with another glitch.
Yes, put 1 point in each skill on the tree you need, do the exploit, then put another point in each skill on the tree, etc. The reason it works is because each level of each skill counts as a separate effect.
I think you're right, my brother did the same thing with the Chancellor when he gives you his first mission. By continuing to talk after getting the skill point he got 3 extra points for a total of 4. I'll look into it!
As mentioned in the video, the defense and resistance buffs don't stick but the Arcane and Arcane Critical buffs do. This makes Aegis Guard a little bit less useful using the exploit. I also point this out in the second sentence of the video description.
I literally used a custom exploit that made Death quite OP, and it's not the one in your video. Mine literally consists of using more than the possible amount of gems to upgrade some of his bases stats( base critical chance, wrath points up to 8000+, base arcane critical chance, base defense, base resistance, health points ) But also, I can mod his weapons and give up to 7 attributes, and I use something like lightning damage for Primary weapon, ice for secondary weapon, with both weapons having health steal, wrath steal, 50% knockback power, 20% execution chance and piercing damage. Armor is also modded to carry high stats, including execution chance, resistance, defense, thorns, health regen, wrath regen. Lastly, the talisman also modded, offers execution chance, critical chance, arcane critical chance, and some additional defense. I literally played on Nightmare difficulty, and finished the game without dying a single time in combat. At some points, I even wished I could battle against an army of enemies, because it's too easy.
Cant wait to watch the LP I watched the Darksiders 1 LP and instatly subed and am gunna see what if anything I missed in Darksiders 2 because you guys find everything, ive already beat the game now im working on Apocolyptic which is so damn easy lol

Well, yes and no. It's like the game Lights Out, each level can only be "on" or "off". If you start by using the level 1 strength and level 2 crit boosts, then use the level 2 strength and level 2 crit boost, the level 1 and level 2 strength are now "on" but the level 2 crit is turned "off" because it was used twice. So, really there are only three total levels that can be stacked. I hope that made sense!
I am! One of the things I like is that it feels like it's own game. Sure, it's bigger and better in many ways but Death plays completely differently than War - he's a lot more lithe and dodgy versus War's raw power smashy style.

download the original pirate copy of the game, from skidrow, it works... and you get most of the DLC with this release (which includes the death rides DLC with all the side quests, and all the weapon DLCs; you just don't get lord belial / argul's tomb / abyssal forge.... which you need the 4th update for anyway, where this glitch won't work).

Fixed from the Xbox 360 because of the recent patch. Erasing the cache will render your save file corrupted, causing you to restart your file from level 1. Nice glitch though.

I think I discovered how make this even more broken. I started of by putting in only one point for unstoppable(still low lvl :( ) and did the whole cast/save/quit thing. It worked. When i leveled i added the second point in. Did the whole cast/save/quit thing. I check my stats and noticed my one point in buff stacked with my two point in buff. it gave the 30+40 stat raise. I tried next time i lvld and i got the 30+40+50 for the grand total of 120 strength! Right now im sittign at 134 at lvl 10.
Hey bro I think there is a glitch from Oran when you give in the quest it says to hit b to collect you skill point on the Xbox version keep hitting b and get skill points I did this to get four skill points before I realized what was going on test it for me man. Thanks for sharing your glitch!!!!!

No longer works (as of 21 Oct) Used to work for the PS3, but when I updated the game it no longer allows the buffs to stick. Great while it lasted though.
I'm aware that War's gear needed leveling (like his weapons) but the character itself was powerful, resourceful, skillful and solid. Plus he looked redemptive in the Abyssal Armor set. I was disappointed to get Abyssal armor on Death as I am a Necromancer and its' so-called added bonus to each aspect of the wearer is false, and it was not near as powerful as the gear I was wearing even if I switched to a common Slayer(Harbinger). why when i do this trick i can only stack the stats one time be it aegis guard or unstoppable ? i did this with the game patched and now doing it with the game unpatched.

I tried this and found the game to be too easy afterwards, i want to undo this but can't, i re-cast all 3 levels of the unstoppable ability and i still have the lvl 3 bonus (str, 40% crit dmg, 20% crit chance). Anything i can do besides complete re-do of the game?
question, technically you can stack the stats more then 3 times because you can do level 1 unstoppable then level 1 on a secondary stat then level 1 on another stat etc. then u can do lvl 1 unstoppable lvl 2 secondary stat level 1 on the other stat etc. maybe? anobody who has the time to check it out please let me know

i saved my new game + on black stone castle in the past portal when i put continue it freezes do you know how to unfreexe it our something? i worked alot at that game save and im all almost maxed and level 30 i dont want to start all over by the 0 :(

Works only in first attempt. When I try to reset the skills, reassign, & activate the effects wont take place. The stats are permanently assigned and never work even if I want to use Unstoppable during a battle. What I should do? My level is 12 right now

That Soul Splitter Ice party was pretty amusing. I always felt the Soul Splitter had the most potential for producing weird glitches.

I made it! Darksiders 2 lets you name your Possessed weapons whatever you want so I dubbed it Parasite Adam due to its health stealing ability.

If you have the disc copy just don't apply the update and you can do this glitch if you already updated it well too bad.
