Jason Spisak, though he's not the first one to do this -- the person who voiced Lezard Valeth for VALKYRIE PROFILE on the original PlayStation did a similar job. It just shows the difference between a good VA and an AWESOME one.
Okay, so War and Illidan Stormrage in World of Warcraft have the same voice actor, but he uses the exact same voice. That's pretty nifty and works well for both characters!
lapetitepatate1 darksiders one has a far greater combat system. Even that has bare bones variety compared to combat games but it’s far higher than darksiders 3. I hate what they did to this game.
I guess it lacked style more than anything. I mean, she's supposed to be a fucking warrior of the apocalypse. Yet she barely feels like a superhuman fighter at all. In fact, her overall skill seems to drop, not increase over the game. The last battle was pathetic. The battle with Wrath had way better coreography.
Alright well holy shit that was freaking awesome. Sorry for the novel length comment, but this warranted it. I love the Darksiders series, and this looks like the best yet. I'm glad to see the art style of Joe Mad is still present, even though he is no longer on the art team (he's not right?) and everything looks great. I love the Sins, their dialogue during battle is just what you would expect from them, and their designs look fantastic. In particular, I liked Envy, Lust and though he's not a Sin, the Lord of the Hollows (eh... I liked Envy's design for the crow sorcerer much better than the weird 4 armed Death mask all-powers-and-weapons thing. I know that was the point once Envy revealed herself, but yes I liked Envy as the crow creature better- reminded me of the Crow Father incidentally.) And AAHAHAHA, I love Fury, she's such a badass and yes she's great to look at too, like Wrath said she's beautiful. Her sarcasm, mixed with her confidence, haha man is she great or what. The dialogue between her and Envy right before their last battle starts was wonderful. This almost makes me want to buy an Xbox One. Almost. I hate to do this, BUT... still a couple of things. For one thing, War and Death did show other sides to their personalities by feeling genuine emotion, I get it. But still, when did the raging conflict told in these games become a therapy session in this one??? Fury struggling with "who she really is" and "what she really wants"... seriously. This wicked butt-kicker is going to spend time on berating herself and trying to resolve inner turmoil?!?! As the novel The Abomination Vault states, the Horseman aren't beings that self-reflection and despair come easily to. Everything these days has to have a supposedly deeper message to it, but this message is still a cliche by now, and it goes completely against Fury's character in the novel, it even clashes with her otherwise awesome persona in this game. Sorry, just kind of jarring to me. My only other issue- the sequel will probably feature Strife in a similar quest. Seriously, as cool as they all are, these games need to stop with essentially the same storyline. "The apocalypse happened, humanity is (mostly) gone, send a Horseman to hunt down some demons or beasties on Earth, oh no! surprise! the Charred Council is corrupt! blah blah." I would much rather see the repercussions of the Horseman ALL coming to the conclusion (which they all have so far) that the Charred Council is corrupt and just using them as their own tools, maybe have them all join and destroy the Council once and for all, then the corrupt rulers of Heaven and Hell. That might be the 5th game in the series. But yes, all of them acting for the Council, coming to realize it's all a sham, blah blah, show us their renouncing of and full out rebellion against the Council!!!!!!! Still... I expect my gripes will be resolved in the sequel to this, or the sequel to that. Awesome footage of the boss battles, awesome characters, just looks like a great addition to the series. One last thing- how soon in the story does Fury's horse die?! Yeah Ruin was absent for most of DS1, but not dead!!! WTF?!?!

Fury reall should have had execution moves like the other games. When she puts her whip through envy at the end that would have been a good one for a start...
Kevin Edward wait she’s not one of the horsemen? Because isn’t it death, war, famine, and pestilence? So why is she called furry?
@@thewanderingassassinlk3136 it seems they replaced Famine and Pestilence with Fury and Strife
Now I really wanna play this game ! The boss cutscenes are awesome !
For Gluttony if you use the Force Hollow you won't be affected by the inhale
That's it
That’s some seriously good coordination
When I first saw this and saw that Jones was actually Strife, Rider of the White Horse I was actually very surprised I am going to guess that the other matters that the Council said he was attending to must have been to help the makers protect humanity and now he has entrusted that responsibility to Fury, the Horsemen and their game Darksiders just keeps getting better and better. Keep up the good work Makers of this game
I think Strife is gone rogue and learned about council conspiracy. So he works against council.
Angel's Demon's 4 horse men's Humanity on the verge of extinction, this is Awesome💖
Came here to see how in the earth can Gluttony get destroyed so easily. Took me around 10 times to beat him once on normal.
Yeah hardest boss in the game for me as well, especially the first part. Second part was a cakewalk though.
@@Radwar99i could never get him to use a move that would make him eat the bombs in phase two it took me forever but as a souls vet the first phase was easier because im more used to attack delays and correct dodge timea
Thumbnail reminds me of how I look at my friends when the teacher used to say pick a group
How do they make Lust sound like a mix between a man’s and a woman’s voice? Does he/she have 2 voice actors and they blend the lines together or is it just one voice actor who is REALLY good at sounding like both sexes?
It's the work of a single voice actor, Jason Spisak. Seems like he is just really good in that regard.
what r u talking about the VA is a woman right? I didn't hear a man's voice.
@@Mord12gp It's a dude named Jason Spisak and I gotta hand it to him for confusing the heck outta me about whether lust was a man or a woman.
@@DanSeadam They had to have modulated the heck out of his voice then cuss its too perfect. I just listened to him and i don't think he could do a voice like that natural but either way its good voice. Like everyone you think Lust going to be sexy but she's a cool and calm schemer baiting people with their hearts desire.
Jason Spisak, though he's not the first one to do this -- the person who voiced Lezard Valeth for VALKYRIE PROFILE on the original PlayStation did a similar job. It just shows the difference between a good VA and an AWESOME one.
This guy Is a master of games
Sins: Nice designs
Me: Did anyone notice how Endgame Envy has heels on?
Okay, so War and Illidan Stormrage in World of Warcraft have the same voice actor, but he uses the exact same voice. That's pretty nifty and works well for both characters!
I just noticed the Lord of Hollows has the Ark of the Covenant chained to his back
Is that what it is?
Ugh that ending still gets me, can’t wait for strife!
That's some advanced combat system....cartwheel flip, slash, run. Repeat.
Just like a souls game
darksider 1 looks more fun
lapetitepatate1 darksiders one has a far greater combat system. Even that has bare bones variety compared to combat games but it’s far higher than darksiders 3. I hate what they did to this game.
I'm glad someone said it. Total snore fest.

56:52 Some reason, I like that B story that had potential. Just something you wouldn't normally see in games like these, Wrath and Fury love story.
this game could be on such a higher level if its soundtrack wasn't the shy kid mumbling when called on in latin class.
They really should have dragged Jesper Kyd's genious ass back!
5:14 The foreshadowing when she looks into the camera and breaks the 4th wall
I decided to spoil myself here and GOD IS ENVY COOL.
i second, just regal and cool look'n
Which envy?
@@armintor2826 True Envy. The fake Envy is neat too!
I just got gamepass and playing Darksiders 1 and 2... cant wait to get this one!
Fury's character development was fantastic.
Oh, I see you went back to kill the Lord of Hollows but you did end up achieving the true ending where you spared him before your final fight. Neat.
I'm confuse where those steel beams are coming from because you can see the sky in that room.
I envy Envy's shoes. God damn they look cool as heck.
WTF?!?!
I've never seen a comment so long. I read all the way to the 'read more' then my mind was blown and I couldnt read any more.
@@aceofspades2233 I skim it and I read it as I never played three and the rest is im a big fan of darksiders
The horse dies pretty early. In fact, you never get to use it. The levels are way to small for propper horse riding.
Kirill Rakhman
They are adding more stories to it with DLCs. Strife is in the game too.
Nice story Bro !
