I heared that the PVC rings are easier to be fit on winter tyres, I believe. Also a water sprayer would increase the lifespan of the rings dramatically. Sth like window washers in the wheel well.
70 isn't the sidewall in mm. It's the percentage of the tread width that the sidewall is. A 145/70 tire has 145mm of tread width and 101.5mm (70 percent of 145) of sidewall height.
"LT" means 'Light Truck,' they're made to carry more weight better. Also amazing wheel cleaner, wonder if we have a version of that over here. And, oh, maybe all those buses are going to a vaccination site, it seems they're doing a lot of things that way from some other vloggers.
@@billybuckner7762 yeah i wouldnt clean wheels with acid if not needed.... once that goes under your clearcoat its bye bye. there are very good PH neutral cleaners like P&B brake busters that I personally use.
Just remember sidewall is not measured in mm its a representation of the percentage of the width of the tire. Therefore a 75 series tire would have a sidewall 75% as large as the tread width.
Future tip for sidewall sizes. If a tyre doesn’t say the aspect ratio (as per your 145/12s) it means the profile is 80 (used to be an industry standard size) Also, I love the TEs on the every but those VS kf are sick as tits.
The way u drift the chaser is crazy. You seem so confident and comfortable drifting in it so I think it's a good choice to use the chaser for this important event 👍🏽
Its the only GTS-T channel. The trick is to show the smoke release in slow motion, and play funky jazz music in the background, like plastic love. Using the chaser seems like a smart move, instead of rushing a build and having gremlins get you at the track seems like a smart move. It is also an underdog, Cinderella story for the car.
The numbers for the side walls of the tires are the % of the tire width, meaning that if the tire is 200/40/R16 then the side wall is 40% of 200, btw great video, hope everything goes great tomorrow with Oka Chan, have lots of fun. Gambateh 👍🚐
Jo Sam just wanted to tell you, that the number on the tyre for the sidewall isn't how wide the wall is in millimeter. Instead it means the percentage of the tyre width is the tyre wall size. For example on an 185/70 R14 the sidewall is 70 percent of the 185mm wide. ✌
I don't smoke anymore, but My 2001 Subaru B4 RSK STI has a japanese cigarette half smoked in the back ashtray as a memento of my car's time sitting in and around Daikoko P.A.
Brooo the chaser will thrive 🥵🥵 maybe she'll prove younwrong amd become the back up comp car 🥺🥺 you dont give that chasis enough love, the amount yoyve progressed in the last few months is astounding
You’ll need to make a couple of holes in the rear arches and setup a water spray through them for the PVC as they will last alot longer……reminds me of the guys who used the plastic serving trays from fast food places and put them under the rear wheels to slide about the car park
R32s looking good in the rain. Mount the tyres and before you pop the bead fit the pvc pieces, and always remove the wheel weights before peeling the tyre. They damage your machines rim protector
The alum halfshafts for my C3 Corvette are PST, I replaced the crusty factory with a bit larger shaft but alum instead of steel. I'd deff use a steel driveshaft for drifting
The easiest way to make vacuum inside the tire is to sprey some flammable gas inside and set it on fire , tire will pop and look like it is pomped up but after a while it will get sucked in because all of the air will be burned creating vacume
Wishing you the best in the comp! I think using the chaser will be fine, you kill it in that car. would be insane to see you in FDJ and then if it works out FD pro1.
What about putting tire on rim and seating beads. Release air pressure, place PVC on unaired tire, then refill tire pressure? That should help hold PVC to tire.
you should have put a ratchet strap around the tyre and ratcheted them so they squashed into a smaller diameter and also maybe take the valve out of the valve stem to let air out to make it easier.
So if the side wall of the tyre doesnt have a sidewall sizing by rule of thumb they are normally an 80 if they are an LT tyre. LT is for light truck so stronger sidewalls. Hope this helps in the future bro
The sidewall on that other Tire is 70% of 145mm. So that is 101.5 mm off sidewall. The size of the sidewall is in percentage off the in this case 145 mm
mei answer about that shaft make me laugh.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fr 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂 which 1 lol
Lol hotbox 😂 it’s been years since I “heard” of that
Damm yo I'm hotboxing to this video
@@billybuckner7762 why wtf

Sam uses parts cleaner so much to the point where it’s free advertisement
I need that wheel cleaner wow

Those tiny VS KF’s would be so baller

The wheel cleaner is an acid cleaner..you can also use muriatic acid as well..works wonders just be careful with it
@@billybuckner7762 yeah i wouldnt clean wheels with acid if not needed.... once that goes under your clearcoat its bye bye. there are very good PH neutral cleaners like P&B brake busters that I personally use.

Are the guys that showed you the cleaning chemicals selling cuz that was mindblowing how good that worked
Litterly magic
Google search "wheel acid". It will etch and damage the wheel finish if you leave it on for too long.
Muriatic acid
I think watching you guys screw around getting the PVC onto the tires at Yashio gonna be funny as !!!
Every time I see the R33 in the shop I miss it more and more
Nah that things a heap
The wheels look actually good after the cleanup!

Anyone know the name/brand of the cleaning product that Sam used on them Honda wheels?
Ratchet strap around the center might help get the PVC started
The lincoln look so big compare to all the k vans around!! 👌😄
Congrats on 420k brotherman!

Formula Drift Japan! Let's Go Sammit. You got this! 頑張って!!!
yo, good luck in the Drift Comp.
I don't smoke anymore, but My 2001 Subaru B4 RSK STI has a japanese cigarette half smoked in the back ashtray as a memento of my car's time sitting in and around Daikoko P.A.
Sick, good luck Sammit! Chaser is a good choice, it's doing well!

Nice. So hyped for pvc drift

The Chaser saves the day, best of luck
Have you installed some water sprayers on top of the rear wheels? that's a must!
A comp in the chaser? Man i cant wait for that video
There's a bass player named Cockroach crying right now
Will you be interested in buying my Nissan?
Good luck for the comp!

Hay from the UK love the video keep it up
Happy 420 Sammy!!!!
For a "filler" episode, it was still a fun one! xD
2 fumigation bombs would’ve definitely killed everything at once lol
They put the rest of those in the car off camera lol
Hell yeah Sammit!! Hope the chaser is ready!!!
Now this is epic!
The shaft joke had Me dying.
Keep up the great work
Oh btw when it says on the tires like 175/70, the "70" is the tire profile which means the sidewall of the tire is 70% of the width 175mm.
It amazes me how many car guys don't know this
it's also called the aspect ratio.
Good call on the drift comp... looking forward to the S15 up and running and the Chaser shredding..
The alum halfshafts for my C3 Corvette are PST, I replaced the crusty factory with a bit larger shaft but alum instead of steel. I'd deff use a steel driveshaft for drifting
Hell Yeah been waiting for a 420 k video
Try to open the sun blockers in the old Kei Van and see how clean the roof should have been
Happy 420k subs 🤣👍🔥
Usually when there's no sidewall size it means its 80 which is the largest sidewall
Nice video🔥💯
Daily vlog are nice too ✌️
The slomo sequence of the hijet 🔥
“Which one” 😂😂 IYKYK
4:49 now I cant get the image of my boy hotboxing the fuck out of the Kei Van out of my head haha
So what is the wheel cleaner your using, I need some of that
that wheel cleaning formula is incredible!
Anyone know what it is

The ol' compression session
I need the cleaner you used on those wheels 😂😂😂
The "fillers" are kind of a "behind the scenes", it's nice :)
Fun fact, when i ordered the mazworx z33/sr conversion kit when it was first released, It took about 8 months to show up lol.
SLO mo shot of the ash tray🤙🏻😂
Sammit: has a R34 , R32 and a mitsubishi
*Works on a kei van*
Kei vans*
always wanted some 4x100 VSKFs for my EK hatch
A 145r12 is just 145/80/12. If there is no sidewall profile listed its just an 80 profile. Light truck tyres are listed like this. 195/15 185/14 etc.
Sammit FD Driver... That has a nice ring to it. You got it bro from downunder
Little drift chan 👏
Happy 420k sub Sammit! Smoking one for u

Crazy Orlando, Florida I live close by, I could of sent it to u. Great vid

More Kei van shenanigans
Cool that sammit got part from Mazworx a company from my home town
I would of had so much fun detailing your van
Engage D-JET for maximum send!!!🚀
Hyped waiting for this to happen 🏆
Wouldnt you want a second locking screw on the adjustable bolt for the manual tensioner if the SR is vibrating so much?
You can do it!
Formula drift...get ready for the Sammit.
The sidewall on that other Tire is 70% of 145mm. So that is 101.5 mm off sidewall. The size of the sidewall is in percentage off the in this case 145 mm
It's time to chase the W!
5:32 It's lit.....!
babe wake up sammit uploaded
Tune the k van! Led lights all over
you could use a rachet strap to squish down the tire
Wheels look good!! But what is the name of the cleaning solution please
