Dear Spanish-speaking people; Yes I know what "la puta" means in Spanish. You can all stop writing it in the comments. That was the joke. FYI the actual name of the car is " Mazda Laputa", pronounced "Rapyuta".
I've done that on base with John Deeres and Clubmaster carts. The sort of things one does when one is stupid and young and surrounded by boredom and equipment. I mean this sort of organized thing. I suppose a lack of Kei (sp?) cars hurts those chances. Geo Metros and Pontiac Fireflies have all rusted away to dust.
If you use a good strong kind of duct tape and make it a few layers, it may be strong enough to keep the PVC just enough so you can stop on the side of the track and remove it. I doubt it would hold much for continuous drifting but if it holds the pvc just enough so it doesn't come apart and break your bumper it'd be nice.
They'll still probably "break" but not just break off/split apart as badly, like the safety glass that when it "breaks" it basically still stays all stuck together.
This reminds me of tray sliding my fwd Mazda mx6 back in high school:) we'd take dinner trays from fast food restaurants, put them under the back tires and lock the e brake up so we could slide around:)
NIce video once again Alexi! I was watching your stream on Twitch when you made the thumbnail for this video. Your streams and videos are always fun to watch :D Especially while I'm working at 6 - 9 am.
Hi Alexi , love you videos, posting this comment to talk about "easy Drift" a drift option made by a friend of mine, a franch guy who create a band of rubber ultra-sleek to put on your tires like this pvc bands but didn't pop off with the back of your car when blow up. Hope you enjoy, thanks for your work;
Looks like so Much fun mang!&@! You Live the Dream my duud seriously, your so fluent with other languages which would make living there so enjoyable you are so lucky Nori I bet you wouldn’t believe how many people would kill too live the lifestyle you do,i hope someday in the future I can afford too vacation out there & have a chance to tandom with your r32 or mark2 💯
That looks like some of the most fun you can have with a car. I have wanting to put rings on my Civic since your first video, but this video plus the possibility of getting space to actually work on my projects soon has me even more likely to try it. Just need to find either small enough wheels or big enough pipe... lol
that Jeremy Clarkson impersonation was farkn spot on mate ay, me coffee almost came out me nose, hahahaha, nice work bud, looks hell fun, would be more fun than me Mum's Camira with maccas trays under the wheels instead way back in the day, hahaha, keep up the good work :-)
This looks like so much fun! The Daihatsu Copen has a very similar rear axle to the mira but it has a lower centre of gravity. Maybe it could be even better at this sort of stuff XD

That putting on glasses part was sweet!
Good, I'm not the only one...
noriyaro how did you do that part with the glasses and the focus because it’s very cool and I know you figured out a very easy way to do it
That was sick!
"That weird person doing that one thing" (Autozam AZ-1 slides past)

*Stops near to water hose*
You: Just filling the water tank mate.
Such a cool and cost-effective concept.
I love how he points out halfway through what he learned last time already. The pedal vs steering part.
Stay awesome!
Somewhere Marty is watching wistfully.

FormulaP for Plastic

Yeet
Yeet
YEET
YEET
YEET
"We're not allowed to drift this corner" proceeds to drift that same corner a few laps later :D 8:54
Noticed that editing bit with the glasses
Dont know if you really put thought in that but the blur before you put your glasses on was a good touch
lmao that glasses transition at @6:42, I feel you Alexi...

Such a cool little car
Mazda Laputa wouldn't sell very well in Brazil

Best car review ever
WHAT AN INCREDIBLE ENTRY SPEEDDDD!!!
13:52 sick mira beats!
Has anyone tried using a 4wd like a wrx with pvc on all the tyres ? like a rc drift car does?
Legit hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
You should be the first to bring an Integra or an old Civic with pvc lmao. Like having a V10 in FD
That would be spicy
do more. PLEASE
I think you should get one Alexi. It won't break the bank and needs to become mainstream 👌
This was amazing to watch
The drifting looks sooo smooth. And Miyaki san best guy.
Would putting some duct tape on the inside of the pvc help keep it from splitting and falling off?
That's interesting...
They'll still probably "break" but not just break off/split apart as badly, like the safety glass that when it "breaks" it basically still stays all stuck together.
bios47 if you use the metal duct tape used for ducting them it may be stronger than normal duct tape
I'd use metal tape on the ring and then layer of double sided one to improve contact with the tyre
That Clarkson impression was spot-on
yahy, pvc drifting :)
not as spectecular, but it looks always like a hell of a lot of fun ^^
This reminds me of tray sliding my fwd Mazda mx6 back in high school:) we'd take dinner trays from fast food restaurants, put them under the back tires and lock the e brake up so we could slide around:)
EPIC Pac-Man reference :) moral of the story: check your water system before every run. Great vid, Alexi!
It's always great to wake up and see that you uploaded a video :)
NIce video once again Alexi! I was watching your stream on Twitch when you made the thumbnail for this video. Your streams and videos are always fun to watch :D

Keep up the great content alexi!
Finally another Noriyaro video!
Hey Alexi I just watched an old video of you teaching how to drift. Kinda wish I watched it a long time ago, awesome stuff 👍
I really hope this takes off in the US
PVC drifting in regular FWD cars?
Do Americans have mini-cars like these? :D
Take the fiat 500
Taka Yeah! Early 90s Ford festiva. Would be super cheap to buy for something like this.
I'll do this in my EF Civic!
Aaaah reminds me so much of my trike drifting days... But on steroids!
I wish this would take off in the UK. This seems like such an affordable option to full fat drifting and any FF would work really.
Fascinating video
Great work, looking forward to the next instalment, all the best:-)
That Clarkson impression was spot on mate
Best channel can't wait for a new video
lol the cars just look stoked to be doing something cool :)
This is really funny but i can't wait to see the Beercan and the MK2 again !!
I feel like this is the kind of drifting I could do *without dying.* Nice.
UPLOAD MORE im in love with your vids
Awesome. This looks and i'm sure it is a ton of fun and great practice if you drift other cars. Thanks Noriyaro
This was a lot way funnier than I thought :)
My friends and I did this back in the day in hs to a 84 Accord! Sooo much fun and my friend did it to a Toyota Matrix and it rolled over
Looks like so Much fun mang!&@! That looks like some of the most fun you can have with a car. 6:43 this is such a cool little visual effect haha, I was like "why is the screen blurred out... oh need the glasses"
This looks like so much fun....
That looks like a Panasonic Q (GameCube) where the radio is meant to be 😁
6:43 aaaah, I see indeed what you did there you clever bastard
That's so awesome. Can you give some details about the actual sizing of the piping used to make the rings etc?
JoeJoe Moto he has made another video about pvc drifting where he mentions the size
I wish we got more of these type of cars in the states...
best content on youtube
You definitely have to buy and build one of these
that Jeremy Clarkson impersonation was farkn spot on mate ay, me coffee almost came out me nose, hahahaha, nice work bud, looks hell fun, would be more fun than me Mum's Camira with maccas trays under the wheels instead way back in the day, hahaha, keep up the good work :-)
This is literally the coolest thing ever lol
Clarkson impression on point
Reminds me of snow drifting.
This looks like so much fun!
