Guitar solo, Brian's voice. I saw Queen last month in Paris. Roger Taylor and Brian May sound just as good as ever. During this solo, the band is backstage changing. Brian always said that hopefully everyone didn't go get a hotdog while he was doing his solo.

Brian says it is difficult to to keep in time and remember where you are as you can get lost, I saw him at the 02 in London in 2008 and he completely fxxxxd the solo up but he carried on as you can. Freddie did sometimes get mad backstage because Brian would take so long on the solos lol.

This might be a dumb thing to say but the only reason this is a guitar solo is cuz Brian is playing by himself. What I mean is, this is what he would play (give or take a few notes, haha) during a Queen song, but we might not realize it cuz we have other instruments being played and/or lyrics being sung to distract us from what the lead guitar is doing. I’ve heard interviews of both Freddie and Roger, though, where they said things that made it clear that even though Brian seems quiet and reserved, he loved the times when he was able to do guitar solos on stage. And I say rightly so, cuz he is a master!

Check out Brian May's guitar work on the song Bijou--there's an album version and a live version--would be fun to see reaction to them both back to back.

Amazing reaction my friends!!....In 2017, the music world was shocked by the bursting onto the scene of a 22-year-old singer named Dimash Kudaibergen, who performed on the famous Chinese competition show for professional singers called “The Singer”... It was just It was necessary for this young man to make his first appearance, making a cover of one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse", to be considered from that moment on as the best singer in the entire planet....No one in the musical field had ever seen a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges above 7 octaves and several semitones, that is, all 88 keys of a digital piano, which reaches a little more than 7 octaves and as if that weren't enough, sing the more than 12 languages...Since then all kinds of experts (Vocal coach, analysts, singing teachers, youtubers, reactors, etc.) have dedicated themselves to reviewing their presentations to try to understand how someone can sing this way...The incredible thing is that that presentation in China was in 2017 and 5 years have passed since then, but what Dimash has done in these 5 years is to further improve his wide vocal range, which is currently practically above of the 8 octaves... The Covid pandemic stopped his concerts worldwide, all with tickets sold in just seconds, via the internet, but at the same time it ended up catapulting him to the top of popularity worldwide...Anyway, since I think you are one of those reactors who have not yet met this impressive singer, here is the link of that presentation in China in 2017, with the song S.O.S. and I would like you to mention my name as the person who recommended him to you..It is a more recent video than the others, so it does not have the same number of views as the previous ones, which have millions of views, but it is a more complete video, with an intro, subtitles in several languages and with the improved quality of audio and sound....ruclips.net/video/bDX3FhmyNac/видео.html

it has delay + chorus pedal active here.
2 amps for left and right delay and one for the dry signal plus one amp for chorus
al these amps were doubled or tripled depending on the event size and they were always at max volume
The buzz noise from the idling amps was heard back from 30 meters by people standing in front of them.
Also note his hardwired with a 30 coiled guitar cable, they had to use a line booster for the signal.

This is such a great solo, Brian is so talented and he shows it in this song though I do feel that guitar or drum solos can be boring.

I couldn't disagree with you more about getting background on the songs. You can not read the melody of a song, you would not have picked up on the drum oddity in "The Miracle" by reading about the song. You would have known, however that Freddie was getting past the point of being able to tolerate making videos, though that should have been obvious by his appearance and the date of the video. When you know about the background and context of a song, you can then teach us from an informed perspective about the musical aspects of the song. Brian's double delay effect is possible because of the amp John Deacon, BS in electrical engineering, cum laude, built for him. I would have rather heard an explanation of how the amp accomplishes the effect! John also built his own amp, but the only modification I know about on his was the addition of a mini-bar! I challenge you to go back and read about the context of a song for ANY of your reactions and truly think about whether that information would have changed your reaction, other than to make it more coherent. Queen fans are very well informed, and as much as I enjoy your reactions, (it is refreshing to listen to someone who actually knows more about music than "Wow, that was good! Bye!"), it is difficult to hear you guess for minutes over something that, to Queen fans, is well known, and then make a completely inapplicable point. I love Celca's take because she isn't evaluating the music technically, and it is a perfect compliment to your reaction. (Sorry, I am writing to both of you, but I don't know your name.) I think by at least learning the basic context of the song, you two would have one of the most viewed channels on RUclips.

2 layers of delay, left channel then right channel then both.
