This is real drifting..downhill and uphill passes like this are far more better and than on the official tracks..awesome in so much ways..if you have other videos like this..do share again 😄
Roads like these are usually one way up and one way down due to the mountains they're built on and how dangerous those hairpins are. If you were to wait at the top of the mountain for a few minutes and no cars passed by, you'd pretty much know the roads below you are empty. look up "Japan, 〒321-1445 Tochigi Prefecture, Nikko, 細尾町" on google and click maps to see the exact route he took.
You can drift 4 (I mean four, four literal days) with a stock 4age before you have to change tires. It's when you up power and go with max grip suspension & settings etc that you have to start upgrading.
@SHADOWFALL t's in the day, I would guess the pop up headlights are down. but your point still stands, it could be a Levin. There's no real way to tell as of now.
Some sources say its Keiichi Tsuchiya, filmed when he was younger, you can clearly see it is an old VHS tape or Sony Betamax. But I don't know if it is legitimately was him.
This video was done often when I was young is also of 10 years ago

Still watching this in 2021! Your videos inspired me to buy my own AE86 and try mountain drifting. Thank you!
hows the drifting going?

I feel like all that skidding will wear out your tires pretty fast! Must be expensive!
street racing is a expensive hobby especially on dry seasons because the tires won't last long
