There are people in this comment section criticizing the man in the video for pulling the e-brake "too much." And I can honestly say if you havent driven down irohazaka IRL then stop talking shit. Irohazaka is extremely tight, both the road width and the turns. Weight transfer techniques are almost impossible to do in this road. The gear used for all the hairpins is 1st gear and the rest of the corners is second. The hairpin corners in irohazaka are ALOT tighter in comparison to gunsai touge which im guessing is where the critisizing is coming from people who watch the hot version touge videos. In gunsai it's actually very possible to perform weight transfer techniques because the corners are longer and wider.
You are one of the best drifters i have seen on youtube, there are some who are much more aggresive than you but they seem to be less in balance with the car, you remind me of that guy that drifts and eats McDonalds, perfect harmony at the wheel no stress. Respect from Eastern Europe!

Lowrider Life You don't understand. Everyone knows what counter-steer is, so get off your high freaking horse. Everyone can see that he's counter-steering, but only a keen eye and basic common sense (both of which you've shown to lack), can see that at from the moment he reaches his desired steering lock, there is very little adjustment until he's getting ready to exit the corner. As well, at the exit of each corner, to the untrained eye, may look as though hie is countersteering furiously, upon closer inspection, you realize that there was barely any steering lock applied (about one full 360• rotation of the steering wheel), which is very little countersteer. The fact of the matter is that the reason it looks like he is applying a lot of counter is because he's doing it quickly, sometimes even letting go of the wheel and allowing the car to self steer a bit before grabbing hold of the wheel again at the exact steering lock he desired. But he is only doing it this fast because there are so many corners and the happen very quickly. These are some of the tightest hairpins in Kanto, after all. And though there are a few (albeit short) straights, any true petrolhead knows that no straightaway on a touge is perfectly straight, just gentle enough to accelerate. Thus, especially on this course, there is almost at least a little bit of lock applied or being applied. I rest my case. Thank you and good night.
I am deeply saddened by the fact that the "motorsport" where "angle", "showmanship" and "smoke" through 1~3 corners are much more highly regarded than the overall skill on display in this vid.
