personally I like using thicker nibs on like pens, but I've grown to like using .5 lead when using mechanical pencils. Also, I love your drawings!! they look very lovely!

i used to only like really thin nibs but i think its mostly because of you two that i loveee really thick lines now! i loveeee thick fineliners, there's so much line variation
Floam is basically slime or simple putty that's been mixed with fine styrofoam beads. If you sculpt with it and let it dry it will be pretty strong, but really light. It has like the best texture ever
Sarah here from the south eastern US. Thankfully, yes we have lemon curd ! it's an imported item I can really only find at World Market, but my family's favorite way to eat it is with clotted cream on scones.
and I really do enjoy drawing with a .35mm pen. But I don't line with it, just sketch. I have a very scribbly style, so the thinner nib helps me build up the layers without adding too much bulk.
Now I kinda want to get a rainbow sketchbook because that sounds like it'd be fun to fill up. It's been pretty gloomy and rainy weather here as well in California, but I do really love rainy weather so it's nice. Probably helping the drought as well.
I'm five years late, but it's the dreary season again now so who knows maybe this is just the right time. I have the rainbow sketchbook they're using. And it is a lot of fun to sketch in it. But also, the paper isn't particularly good. So it would be a relatively easy little bookbinding project, just using coloured copy paper or craft paper.
