A woman saying "they're mid" shouldn't affect him personally at all unless he automatically sexualizes her.
He's saying don't defend him on the side of being a weirdo for dodging girls in que. But defend his honor and his name after being called a misogynistic sexist for it cause Tarik knows him well and knows its not true. At least is what I understand and could get behind, but also this drama is absolutely retarded. Like everything not just Tarik in Jason
35:23 is all that needs to be said. Jason Q&A: 1. Are you dodging women? No. My game and pc crashes all the time. 2. Are you dodging women? Yes. Out of respect for my relationship. 3. Are you dodging women? No, I've played with women before on unrated and customs. 4. Are you sexist or misogynistic? No. But you chose to be a girl about it. 5. How am I an L friend? You are not defending my character. 6. How am I an L friend? I don't want you to defend me but you should've said I met Jason and he's not sexist or misogynistic. 7. How am I an L friend? You met me and my wife. We are not sexist in our in-person interactions so obviously we can't be sexist/miso ever. 8. How am I an L friend? You're neutral and that's fine. But you can't be neutral because you aren't defending me but I don't want you to defend me.
@Something Nice and all boys stuck in plat and diamond are objectively worse than the girls that carried themselves to IMM where they can play with JasonR. Yes there are probably more guys that are way better than women in valorant by just looking at the pro scene, but collectively dodging and muting ONLY FEMALES when they're in your games cause "women are just nowhere near as good as men" is am OBJECTIVELY sexist/mysogynistic way at looking at things. If you complain about every girl in your game inting you then think about every guy in your game that has inted you.
To me it really seemed like he wanted to call Tarik names got called out on it and when Tarik tried to defend himself Jasonr just went no that's not supposed to happen i was supposed to call you names and you weren't supposed to do anything
19:48 "You chose to be a girl about it." Great choice of words there, Jason! Honestly, I don't know what made me so bored to listen to 50 minutes of this "argument". I think 90% of the time was spent just trying to figure out what they were even arguing about. To sum up what was never concisely or fully said, JasonR thinks Tarik is an L friend because he remained neutral and never defended Jason's character as not being a misogynist despite him and his girlfriend having met and interacted with Jason and his wife, while Tarik says he did not defend Jason because he doesn't agree with him dodging women and (while only once briefly stated and hinted at by him throughout) thinks there is evidence of Jason being a misogynist due to his actions and doesn't believe his brief meeting(s) with him IRL give him the knowledge to say with certainty that he doesn't hate women. I think the funniest thing about this whole exchange is that the meaning of an L friend itself was never actually debated. If we're being real here, an L friend is someone not someone who supports their friends doing something they disagree with and lies to others about it, but someone who let's their friends know they don't agree with how they are acting/thinking and helps them to improve themselves. But Jason was adamant in the latter half that he has no interest in any advice whatsoever from Tarik, so there's that. Hope this saved you 50 minutes.
Tarik - Disagrees with Jason's "personal choices" but he clearly knows Jason is not a "bad" person and is normal, so he remains in a neutral stance avoiding shit talking or backing up Jason and getting involved in general. JasonR - Feels like Tarik betrayed him because he doesn't back him up, but then goes on to say it isn't about backing him up even though he clearly wants him to. Jason needs to fight his own battles bro instead of trying to drag down others with him and results in him ruining relationships like with Tarik that could've been completely avoided.
They're good friends, jason doesn't want him to back him up, he wants a percentage of the people (Tarik's audience) to stop provoking him assuming he's a misogynist. Tarik knows the truth but he allows those in his audience to go off with this misogynistic narrative. Jason doesn't need full backing up, he just needs tarik to clarify why he's dodging queues since most of the degenerates that assume Jason's sexist are of Tarik's audience.
@@1prodliko He literally said he bans people for talking about Jason. Tarik didn't even know why Jason dodges his queues up until now so there's really no way of him "clarifying" why he dodged them in the first place
@@1prodliko its more like Jason does want Tarik to back him up. He literally asks Tarik to back up his character, which is backing him up like what. Also, Tarik can't control his audience man what. Dude I don't know how Tarik is so patient i would literally loose my sht. That shows how Tarik is as a person. Never watched his stream before. And I know for a fact that a true friend would never let his friend do stuff that is wrong and support him. Isn't it obvious that Jason doesn't want to accept that he is wrong. Tarik was so clear but because he is friend of Jason he puts himself in a situation where Jason is literally messing with his mind. I would be so rude if I was called a L friend after all this time. Even doing the right thing. Man I just feel bad for tarik
@@ashieladeh Jason was dodging matches whenever there was a female in his team. Some were calling him misogynist and sexist. He was dodging females maybe because I am not sure Maybe because females can't play that well that's what he thinks. Dude is confused himself he's giving different reasons everytime. In this he said because of his wife. He wants to be honest with her.
JasonR realises that if he solo queues with a female it will effect his rank since 90% of females are trash at comp games based Chad. BEFORE you say im sexis I really don't care it's a fact thats why I said 90% AHAHAAHAHAH
This whole conversation is just a loop of these 3 things: JasonR: asks ridiculous question Tarik: gives reasonable answer JasonR: IT’S NOT ABOUT THAT, YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT I’M SAYING
Basically Jason is arguing about it isn't about him queue dodging women. But that people have now painted him as a woman hater which is what makes him feel like it's being taken to far. But Tarik thinks the argument is about not defending him about queue dodging women. So I noticed many people not understanding this subtlety. Which is Jason thinks Tarik should've came out to say something along the lines of "He isn't a women hater, but I think what he did with queue dodging women isn't right, and that I've hung out with him and his wife and they seem like nice people who don't hate women". Just translating what's going on since everyone is seems so lost. I don't agree with Jason, but I think you misunderstood what he was saying.
@@freddie4682 jason isn't making any argument, he is calling tarik a L friend tarik gives a reason why he is not then jason says nuh uh. tarik gives a perfect analogy if i say he is not a sexist becuase he has female friends doesn't change the fact what he is doing is a sexist action, if he said no guys tarik isn't racist he has black friends while tarik is saying the n word on stream doesn't make him not a racist, he even said train and moe defended him did it stop the death threats? no saying oh i know the guy he isn't sexist when i met him doesn't do anything
Females aren't as good at video games which is why jasonr dodges them, its just a fact. no esports teams have females and never will. (not being sexist)
I'm so glad Tarik eventually did bring up his analogy about not being overtly racist while hanging out with you in person but exhibiting racist behavior on stream because it's a perfect analogy and it was so stupid that Jason's immediate response was just "don't use that analogy" because WHY NOT? Why can't he use that analogy? It's a perfect comparison. His in-person experiences with Jason do not refute the behaviors Jason shows on stream. Hanging out with some girls and having a wife doesn't make you not sexist. It's the same as the "I have black friends" argument. That's why it wouldn't make any sense for Tarik to have come forward about that because it doesn't change the nature of the situation at all, he can't prove that Jason isn't sexist. And furthermore, saying "he doesn't deserve death threats" is completely meaningless because nobody who would send death threats would be deterred by that statement.
I thought the same thing about the analogy at first. But it depends on what Tarik was doing to be racist. Using racial slurs against someone would be pretty hard to defend him as a person let alone the action. If in the analogy Tarik had said mildly racist jokes (I can't think of anything but let's assume something like this exists.) Then his action may or may not be defended, this depends on what the consumer depicts as humor but his character can still be defended. I.E. Tarik isn't racist that joke/clips is kinda F*cked though.
Jason is still a terrible friend though. He lied on some occasions to try and get Tarik to admit he was a bad friend, my assumption to get more "Character Witnesses." This would allow him to keep his behavior without any consequence as he would have people will with large followings implying "Jason, nah he just dodges woman he's not a woman hater" But later he could change the dodges woman part to other things.
@@ryuruben that's pretty fair. I think what he's trying to say is that, similar to if someone were making racist jokes on stream, it creates enough reasonable uncertainty that he personally wouldn't feel comfortable defending the person, especially if they continued to do it after being confronted. Also more generally you could interpret it as something like "how you act around your friends isn't necessarily proof of your character" which is probably why he didn't think it would make sense to give the "character witness" Jason wanted. I agree that ironically the "L friend" is definitely Jason for saying Tarik sounds like a robot who's never had a friend before, expects his friends to defend him and never be critical or give advice(that part was crazy to me) even when they disagree with their actions, accuses him of caring more about his viewer numbers than his friends, etc.
Analogy doesn’t make sense. You’re assuming dodging women is bc he’s sexist when he’s said (and Tarik agreed) it’s for personal reasons, his chats reaction, his relationship with his wife, whatever; however weird and twisted it is to do that doesn’t matter. So why can’t tarik say my friend isn’t sexist even if his behavior is weird and indefensible? That’s what a friend would do and all Jason was asking
I know this is from a year ago but your fucking wrong dawg. It’s a bad analogy because there is the intent/reason behind it. I’m black and if a mf didn’t fuck with black people because of some crazy shit happen and the person or reason why it happen was because of a black person I would understand where they are coming from and act like a human being. I’m not gonna hold that against them the same way you can hold someone being racist for no reason or because they truly have hate for that race. Someone saying i have black friends is them literally trying to tell you to your thick skull it’s not that I don’t like (using black for the example) black people but I may not like you as a person or whatever their circumstances are. It literally sounds like from what I knew from the situation that was blown up out of proportion is he tries to be respectful as he can be by not playing with them due to his wife. Say whatever you want about her and how dumb her reason is SURE but he is being a respectful husband and it makes sense he would be mad if people that knew him wouldn’t at least say something like “Jason interacts with women in the presence of his wife so it’s situational and this isn’t a situational they are comfortable with”. Something like that which is plain and simple and all people need to know. From that point on leave the dude alone
The moment he called tarik "L friend" and not "defending him" because of increased fame/viewership is the moment their friendship broke, maybe idk. Tarik was very understanding of Jason's reason why he dodges, offered suggestions on how to fix the mess, but Jason just didn't care and said "I wanted you to be a bear witness" bs. Dude messed up, just admit it. Personal reason why he dodges, but bruh it's not like you'll cheat on her immediately when there's a girl in the lobby. Pretty sure they're all decent human beings who can respect when someone has a partner in life.
Nah its just an excuse for avoiding women. He should just end up admitting doesn't like playing with women cause they can't compete with men in valorant the end. He should just be honest and continue avoiding women as long as he don't harass them. Its up to the public to criticize him whatever he wants and at the end of the day everyone moves on from it
lets not forget its not like a girl playing valorant is gonna go flurting or what ever they get harast most of the games anyways its just a bad excuse why dosent he just admit the he dosent play with girls cause he cares about winning too mutch
Dawg you’d be suprised while this has been happening I’ve seen so many girls say they’d drops their pants for Jason and I’m just like cmon ya’ll cmon 🤦 Edit: since people think I’m taking up for Jason I’m not, I think what he’s doing is completely unnecessary that being said I’m simply stating my expiriences with girls talking about Jason on Twitter, if you guys want some proof I can probably provide. A "real friend" doesn't just back you up and be a yes man whenever you majorly fuck up. A real friend will let you know that you've fucked up. Tarik is a W friend. Jason is saying some crazy shit.. How is he trying to separate backing someone up with giving an eye witness account???? they are one in the same. You can't give an eye witness account and simultaneously disagree w what he is doing. Jason is trying to claw himself out of the hole he dug himself into and it's embarrassing tbh.
Dude jason is the L friend. Imagine trying to drag others down with you when you’re supposed to be “friends”. His argument is so unrealistic and pathetic. Also just because someone met your wife and you’ve hung out with other peoples wife’s, doesn’t mean you’re not misogynistic. That’s like saying i’m not racist, I hung out with black people before. There’s no proof or relevance for the proof he tried to provide.
it's like saying "I haven't been outwardly racist in front of you so you know I'm not racist and you should tell that to the whole world even thoug there's obvious proof that I am indeed racist"
Jason just needs to make concrete proofs that he's not xyz instead of expecting someone else to cool his shits down, it's his problem in the first place and HE needs to do something about so to move on or so proving that it was never a thing
The fact that every time Tarik spoke about "the weird shit" he does Jason never responded with "I don't do that weird shit" or "those were lies" speaks volumes about the issue. Basically he is admitting to doing the weird shit he just wants someone to defend his character in spite doing the weird shit.

If jason truly believes hes innocent, he doesnt need close friends to back him up. Bringing your close friends to support your controversial problems is already bad enough, let alone shitting on them for not backing you up. Say if i was caught using a racial slur. The last thing i would do is drag my friends along with me in the mud. You know when i would drag them to back me up? If i know i actually fcked up and i desperately need them to justify how im innocent. Jason is the L friend for putting that pressure and responsibility on Tarik
Agreed. But I do believe they are arguing 2 different points -- which Jason has conflated during the conversation. Point 1: JasonR is a woman hater Point 2: JasonR dodges queues with females on his team (which obviously mutually exclusive to point 1) - this is what Jason is trying to argue. No one would support a friend if they were outed to be a woman hater (just as you mentioned about being racist) -- because no one would agree with this perspective. But it sounds like Jason wants his friends to openly dispute point 1 while justifying point 2. Then Jason uses the Ninja excuse as to why he doesn't queue with females. The one point of contention that is a bit weird for me is that Tarik uses the position of agreement to decide whether a person is a friend or not. I have plenty of friends who I have disagreements with. So its weird that Tarik would say -- I disagree with your stance that you won't queue with women to honor your relationship with your wife -- therefore I won't play video games with you. I think they are both being kind of weird about this situation. Tarik called him out. Jason gave the reason. And it was more circle talking.
@@3xpression296 Right but Jason supposedly won't play with female steamers. By playing with him whilst knowing that, you are in turn supporting him while he is actively doing that.
@@hobbes296 That's exactly what the issue is. No one is willing to actually SAY what it is. If this was your friend, and you knew him. You'd either have to call him a woman hater and thus end your friendship with him, or, say its a personal matter between him and his wife and online females. Are you saying that if I take the stance that I don't want to play with 12 year olds, that I thus hate kids, and by me hating kids, you wouldnt be able to play games with me cause then youll support my kid-hating opinion? Lol. Its all stupid.
@@Icxelol Okay here is the difference. The problem people have with him is that he isn't playing with women right? That's also the problem Tarik has. You are actively involving yourself in that spcific situation the moment you play with him. Jasonr cant understand that what he wants from Tarik is the same thing as to defend him and its so frustrating to watch. Its not tarik’s responsibility to defend him or be a character witness. You reap what you sow
Jason is clearly trying to attack tariks character by calling him a bad friend. sounds like he feels trapped in a corner and is panic deflecting blame to tarik for not "helping".
19:53 "YOU chose to be a fucking girl about it" - probably shouldn't be sexist while you're yelling at your friend for not defending you being a sexist. Having a wife doesn't mean you're not sexist.
For those who don’t know why tarik started the conversation by asking JasonR why he’s an L friend, it’s because tarik and Zellsis were queued in a ranked game. tarik was tilted because he was losing a few of his games and accused jasonr of queue sniping. Then JasonR said tarik is an L friend and they had an argument during the beginning of the game, and jasonr said to talk about it after the game, hence this whole conversation. Hope this makes sense!
3 mins and 21 seconds in and it's clear that Jason wants, consciously or unconsciously, manipulate Tarik into supporting him on the basis of "knowing him as a friend" while totally disregarding the facts at hand. Jason didn't try to explain why he doesn't want to play with women. Maybe because he doesn't have to. Just like Tarik doesn't have to support a position of someone, friend or not, if he doesn't understand or agree with that position. Tarik is totally right.
@Something Nice you do know there are women that play at high levels of games and do really well against their male counterparts. Geguri, UYU YUYU, Barcode, just to name a few off the dome. These women play against and have beaten males many times before. Stop spreading this BS when there are plenty of women that are more than capable at playing at a high level. shit is mad cringe.
@Something Nice I literally gave you examples of high level women that you chose to ignore by the way AND you failed to realize that only an incredibly small percentage of men actually play at a high level and the reason you don't see a lot of women at that high level is because of sheer numbers. Theres a lot more men in fps than women. It's not complicated to think about. When more women start playing and practicing then you'll start to see more at a higher level. Nothing to do with women not being capable.
Imagine if Jason just reacted to this drama initially like "yeah you know what, I saw the clips. I dodged some games and I admit what I did was kinda messed up. Sorry about that. I won't do it anymore." This whole drama would've lasted maybe 2 days instead of potentially damaging his career/reputation permanently. Makes no sense to die on this hill.

Jasonr makes zero sense. How could you possibly ask Tarik to talk about Jason’s character when there’s literally video evidence that would contradict Tarik and make it look like he supports the behavior or that he at least thinks it’s not that big of a deal. I just don’t get how you could possibly sit there and say you don’t want Tarik to defend him when he’s bringing up other people backing him up and he’s literally asking Tarik to take up for him based on his personal experience with Jason about his character.
Tarik: why am I an L friend? Jason: you're not trying to help my character image. Tarik: *gives advice to help his character image* Jason: why are you helping me.
Yup, and the fact that this whole situation could've been avoided if JR from the beginning admitted that he dodges women because of personal relationship reasons. JR still doesnt get that the general public are mad at him because he BLATANTLY lied, because deep down we all know he dodges women because his personal relationship reasons.
So what Jason is doing to Tarik? A friend is supposed to communicate and ask if the reasons are true before announcing a side. A friend is supposed to talk first and gather information before assuming shit. Tarik L friend.
100% and all people who defend Jason and call Tarık “L friend” are all showing their true colours and how garbage they are with interpersonal relationships.

Its because he is guilty and he knows it, he is using this as a way to try and push the blame off to someone else with a bigger audience so they can squash it for him. Dude literally wants to get rid of all the death threats but instead of giving evidence and telling the real reason why he dodges, he attacks his own friend????
If he feel like a random girl in a random lobby can affect him and his relationship with his wife then that's a very shaky relationship. If anything that's on him if he thinks this random girl can affect their relationship. Or his wife is that controlling of who he hangout with which still paints their relationship in a bad way. Jason isn't on a find a partner site he's playing valorant. Ranked valorant where the object isnt to find partners. If he's just making it up because he thinks girls aren't good to play with him then he's gotta realize that the girls he's playing with our immortal and above. If anything the game literally has a mute system If it's that big of a deal just mute the girl unless his wife thinks just playing a game with a girl even when the girl is not interacting with her is cheating. I don't think he's dumb but having this argument isn't really painting him in a good light.
I don't get why he is in such a huff over Tarik. Sure if the dude was actively talking shit about you, sure. But the dude seems like he is just trying to stay out of it. He doesn't agree with Jasons whole thing and doesn't want to support it.
Im only 23 minutes into this discussion, but from what I’ve gathered so far Jason is asking too much of Tarik. The only thing Tarik needs to say to be a good friend in my opinion is “Jason doesnt deserve to receive death threats for his actions” and I’m pretty sure he has said that in the past. Jason’s point of view for those that dont understand is he wants Tarik to put his foot down and NOT be neutral. Jason wants Tarik to say “I’ve met Jason and his wife in real life! They’re just regular people and dont deserve all the hate they’re getting, he’s my friend” They just have 2 different definitions of the word friend. Tarik is being true to himself and is clearly in the right here but Jason also isnt ‘wrong’ for his pov on friendship it’s just different and they dont understand why the other doesnt see their point of view. I think if Jason was in Tarik’s position he would stand up for him. And I also believe that if Tarik was in Jason’s position he wouldn’t want people to defend hm just because of friendship. (Also by definition sexism includes discrimination, so technically Jason is sexist for not playing with women even though I dont think he hates women at all)
Bruh this is so frustrating to watch. Literally watching jason struggle to understand what tarik is saying. Tarik is trying so hard to keep himself from getting mad
Jason: "Just make a statement of this "fact" you know about me that I'm not what people are saying I am, ok bud?" Also Jason: "Tarik... It's not about... I don't want you to defend me...just be a good friend??" Holy gaslighting.
@Something Nice how are you even trying to defend someone who contradicts themselves. I don't even care anymore what happened happened, but the attack on tarik was really dumb.
@Something Nice I mean the history of how his girlfriend acted around women in his chat kind of goes against that theory. I was literally a fan of him during this time and was there live. 2017 I think? But listen I don't wanna argue with ya. He can do what he wants tbh
Whole clip is jasonr asking Tarik questions and when Tarik replies Jasonr saying it's not about that. Like whu aren't you defending me and when Tarik tells him the reason he is like but it's not about defending. Thats all it is all 53 minutes
This conversation can be boiled down to “you’re my friend you’re supposed to be defending me even though you don’t agree with me” which as a friend you obviously shouldn’t force anybody to do.
In my opinion, JasonR could have actually had a good point if: 1. He didn't say the same thing over and over in the beginning or could have made an effort to rephrase what he was saying in the hopes of Tarik being able to see what he wants him to see even just a little bit. What Tarik interpreted was that Defending a person when you believe what their doing/what they believe is right | IS EQUAL TO | Defending a person's character (which is too vague to defend imo) despite that person making a big mistake. It is not the same thing. I agree that Tarik could have done more. I think and I like what Subroza did but I'm not undermining all the the effort and thought Tarik went through in order to be able to support JasonR in anyway he could. He just kept repeating and whining that "Tarik couldn't be a witness of character". Note: Of course all of this also applies to Tarik since he also just kept repeating what he was saying. 2. He didn't insist that Tarik, a good friend in his perspective, SHOULD have been a character witness. If he said "Tarik COULD HAVE done better" and went in a more passive state, I would've been able to agree. He was too self-centered and demanding here. I think a majority of us wouldn't DEMAND/EXPECT this much to a good friend. To a best friend/soulmate sure, definitely the other person should be doing more but to a "good friend", ESPECIALLY ON STREAM to demand this much from Tarik, Jason is asking to have his reputation drop. 3. He swallowed his pride and accepted Tarik's advice in the mid-late part of the video. My take on this is that Jason wanted someone else to take a burden off his shoulders. Put it well, he trusted Tarik enough to say sorry and compromise with what he was saying. Put it badly, it's just simply crab mentality. This wasn't about understanding and building your friend's relationship better, to him, it was all about justifying himself and being disappointed in Tarik failing his expectations. Tarik is just trying to help him and because of his pride, he goes "WTF MAN THIS ISN'T ABOUT GIVING ME ADVICE, WHY ARE YOU GIVING ME ADVICE?" It was supposed to better their relationship, not about wanting to be the bigger/better guy on stream. At that point, Jason was all wrong and being selfish and self-centered. 4.He didn't make ANY SEXIST STATEMENT. 19:50 COME ON. REALLY? YOU'RE UNDER ALL THIS MISOGYNY AND YOU SAY A STATEMENT LIKE THIS? It really just shows you that he hasn't reflected properly. Not one bit. This is all about gaslighting Tarik and making himself feel better, Emotional Masturbation, if you will. Stop pretending like "This is about us talking man to man friend to friend." when you just want to appease your pride. It ashames me that my name is also Jason. Now people on valorant are like, "Oh you're Jason, you also mute and dodge girls?" Aside from xQC's blatant bullying and everyone around him condoning it, this is the dumbest stuff I've seen so far. What a way to make 2022 worse.
Tarik is not responsible for other people’s interpretations of what someone else did. He’s trying to hold a friend accountable, not attack them. That’s not being an “L friend.” That’s just called being a friend. A friend that stands up for them in the worst times, but also hold them accountable for their actions. The reason why Tarik probably didn’t bring it up is because he didn’t want to make it seem that he was making excuses for JASONR. JASONR keeps digging himself a hole and Tarik is throwing him the rope, but instead of just taking the rope, he burns that shit and keeps digging.
A friend is supposed to ask the other friend and investigate first, gather evidence, before assuming shit out loud to the public, and immediately saying "I don't condone it" before even asking the other friend if there's more to the story. L friend.

"It's not about defending me" but I need you to defend me and be a witness of character, you are my friend you should defend me but again its not about defending me
There is some things I have caught up that makes this conversation never stop going in circles. 1. Jasons perspective: Wants Tarik to be a friend, and by that stating the fact that Jason is a really good person from their fellow experience and moments togheter. 2. Tariks perspective: Wants Jason to explain why he is dodging girls because he think it is weird and says he is not trashing him in any sort of way but can’t defend that matter cause he doesn’t support it. Jason is only saying to Tarik that he should defend him. He is then looking at his situation as an kind of personal situation that tarik should not have spoken about at all OR just said good things based on their irl friendship.(which Tarik could have done, but apologised for not taking that into account) What Jason is doing there is he wants Tarik to just support him and then he doesn’t respect that Tarik has a voice and values that he wants comment about. So we get one apology from Tarik but he is still a bad friend according to Jason. Then we might have to look at what is a good friend really like? Should a friend be supportive with not stating his opinion and say good thing about Jason. Or can Tarik say that he wants to help him by saying that this “dodging matter” is affecting him and he should figure it out with his wife. That could be a bit sensitive for Jason to hear an clear, constructive advice coming at him but that is something he should take in my opinion. If Tarik said supporting things only and not spoke about his values and opinion regarding Jason’s weird behaviour then I think he would be a more neutral and quite friend that just joins the pack of sheep friends that only talks about Jason’s character but not the specific weird behaviour. Sorry for long comment.
@@binkthepidgeon7 well that’s true he said that he could play unrated with them and not comp, so it’s maybe not just his toxic relationship but he also thinks girls are inherently bad at games. Otherwise he would have said I’ve played comp games with girls before not specify unrated games

@@dambrew4419 i dont think so. i think hes just super inconsistent with his argument, theres clearly something that he needs to fix within his relationship.
Exactly. But I’d call it dodging a bullet tbh. If a “friend” is acting like that, trying to drag me down because they messed _their_ shit up; that “friendship” is ending. This Jason guy is clearly in the wrong and wants Tarık to defend his sorry ass. Tarık would do good staying away from this guy.
If Jason wasn’t guilty, people would’ve been witnesses to his character; the fact that people aren’t means that he is a character of misogyny and sexism; point blank.
It annoys me so much when Jason says "I feel like i'm talking to someone who has never had a friend in real life" and "I feel like i'm talking to a robot" when everything Tarik says makes perfect sense. Everytime Tarik says something Jason doesn't have a good answer to he just tries to manipulate the situation

Jason needs to fight his own battles bro instead of trying to drag down others with him and results in him ruining relationships like with Tarik that could've been completely avoided.
perfect take and recap 👍

@@hugodl9073 Okay bud
Jason is the L friend for putting that pressure and responsibility on Tarik
Agreed.
But I do believe they are arguing 2 different points -- which Jason has conflated during the conversation.
Point 1: JasonR is a woman hater
Point 2: JasonR dodges queues with females on his team (which obviously mutually exclusive to point 1) - this is what Jason is trying to argue.

Not really tho! Just sayin that jason and his wife aint like that in person dont have to mean that he supports jasons actions
Thanks for this
Thanks for the context!
@Something Nice shut the fuck up you copy and paste this under every comment
@Something Nice so that’s sexist then.. ty for proving our point.
@Something Nice whats the name of the women, link me it.
Other way around to me
@@Dmahmoud17then you’re as looney as jasonr
Im only 23 minutes into this discussion, but from what I’ve gathered so far Jason is asking too much of Tarik. The only thing Tarik needs to say to be a good friend in my opinion is “Jason doesnt deserve to receive death threats for his actions” and I’m pretty sure he has said that in the past.
Jason’s point of view for those that dont understand is he wants Tarik to put his foot down and NOT be neutral. Jason wants Tarik to say “I’ve met Jason and his wife in real life! They’re just regular people and dont deserve all the hate they’re getting, he’s my friend”
They just have 2 different definitions of the word friend.

If JasonR thinks he was right, he would have given concrete evidence himself and his friends would automatically backed him up without being asked.

JasonR is going in circles because he can’t accept that Tarik is right.
This conversation can be boiled down to “you’re my friend you’re supposed to be defending me even though you don’t agree with me” which as a friend you obviously shouldn’t force anybody to do.
Tarik and JasonR arguing:
Zellsis: HEYYYY GUYS. . . .
In my opinion, JasonR could have actually had a good point if:
Now people on valorant are like, "Oh you're Jason, you also mute and dodge girls?"
Aside from xQC's blatant bullying and everyone around him condoning it, this is the dumbest stuff I've seen so far.
L friend.

Tarik could have made his point in Turkish and it still would have made more sense to me than Jason’s entire argument
This video is THE UPLOAD of this argument.
