- I finally got the final humvee door painted and can now move onto the body. The body is very rough and will need tons of work however we have completed a lot of it so far several videos ago!

Doors look amazing, can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the body. Hats off for pulling off that paint job under those conditions
Thanks
Those doors came out sick! Can’t wait to see them mounted. Great job!
Thanks brother!
LOL I am no math magician either but doing them yourself is well worth it!
I bet you're glad you're finished sanding doors!
Absolutely!
I am so glad you are all done with the doors! Painted my hubs, differentials, axle shafts and other plastic parts that could not be powder coated in the past couple weeks. I agree with you on the weather completely. Here in Montana it was horribly cold and it did not spray the way I wanted. Even in a warmer shop the parts wouldn't dry quick enough and would not lay a nice even gloss finish. Accepted and moved on. Still looks awesome though. That grill is pretty cool got to say! One thing I got to mention is when you got kids birthdays so close to Christmas do not under any circumstances try and cut a corner and use Christmas wrap on a birthday gift. That does not go over well 🤣
😂😂
Whenever you are ready for the heater core, here's another option.
Vintage Air 506101 Compact Heater with Defrost
I removed the factory air box and installed this unit further down the firewall. Works great, gained a lot of leg room.
Great idea!
Always love the updates!!
That looks real nice! As for painting in low temps. Back in November I had my ISO COMMS TRAILER (the type that can be hooked together to form a semi permanent ops center as used in Desert Storm) it turned out great but I waited until December to paint the loading ramp for it and it took 4 days to dry since the temps had dropped to around 53° outside. Now on to replacing the decals for it and trying to remove the ECU on it so I can fabricate the filler door that goes in place of the ECU.
We are waiting to see what’s in store for the body! That will be a serious project.
Thanks! That body should be a blast…
Montana here, I feel your pain on the weather and no painting.
I have to plan jobs around the seasons here.
Awesome content, I think you are getting better each time.
NO MORE DOORS!
Thank God!!
I guess you learned that you really shouldn't paint under 68 degrees. I have a top that I am waiting for the temperature to rise to paint and so far it will probably be spring before I get the chance to paint it. Nice content. Keep it coming.
Thanks!
Great work 👍👍👍👍👍
