Great job. Those lifts are crazy expensive ! I'm thinking about installing a jk frame under my tj. I have a j8/dana44 and ford 9. Those vevor pipe stands are pretty cheap and those could probably work too.

You're a stud in my books. My wife has the same EXACT car (White 2020 X5 M50i with 70K miles) and we just found out that the front diff has the same issue. Fortunately, I bought the extended warranty so they are covering it....but I'm with you...they should have absolutely covered this under MFR warranty whether you had purchased the extended warranty or not. This is a crazy operation to do yourself...congrats.

This is on me, Had to stop the video due to the on and off music. The music hard to listen, yes I have mute however I don't want to miss your narration. I would prefer whatever shop noise is going on at the time. Good luck with the project, I moving on to something else.

I see that at 1:20 your girl is removing the shifter assy by removing those 4 bolts. I tried to remove those bolts to install some "L" brackets to then put a Master padlock through the "L" brackets to prevent petty joy riders to take off but the problem was that the bolt (the first one I tried) felt tight at the beginning but now just keeps on turning like if there was a nylon lock nut on the other side. Am I missing something...? (I did not mess with the other 3 bolts before finding out what I am doing 🙂)

CDR valve serice pro tip. So you dont drop that bottom clamp after you loosen it. Place a small zip tie under it so it doesn't slide down once it's loose.

Pro tip for the fuel filter replacement. Lossen the 3 7/16 cap bolts but do not remove them. Do not disconnect any of the fuel lines. Instead, leave everyting on including the clamp bolt. From inside the vehicle while sitting in the drivers seat, remove the 2 7/16 bolts that hold the fuel filter bracket. Fuel filter with housing is now easier to move around to remove the 3 cap bolts to service the filters (green screen and molded paper filter). Clear the drain line. Clean the inside and fill halfway up with fuel and install new filters then the cap with a new o-ring. Place the oring in a zip loc bag and put it in the freezer overnight to shrink it. To prime, loosen the stainless steel screw at the top. Crank until only fuel comes out (no bubbles). Start and run the engine. Check for leaks then install into firewall by using an awl to center one of the bolt holes and install a bolt into the other. Tighten both once started. You're done.
