I tried the Napoleonic Revolt in a simulated game to see the effect of certain shipments. Genie Troops allows Grens to gather at the same rate as Coureur des Bois, and since the Church grants you up to 27, they can earn their cost back pretty well
I've been playing Napoleonic France since it was released. It's so powerful when at full potential it's insane. Grenadiers gather at 1.5 rate on mines and wood when the card is in. French Musks with the combatg promotions completely disregard the 30% drop in stats. The native scouts turn into cav. French cannon one shot near everything. Just ridiculous levels of strength with armies like Russia and Aztec. Without a doubt, the most fun and strongest revolution in the game. Vive le France!
The craziest game that i have ever watched , What a Glorious French Revolution ! Kevin even age up to The IMPEIRAL Napoleon Era and keep sending shipments to over pop the Revolution Army , that Hundred Days Card shipped 100 Muskteers definitely hits the ball off ,that scenes compelely shocks me ,Kevin just playing as NAPOLEON himself right now !!!!!whats more,Kerimb himself decides to do a counter revolt into Egypt to fight his last all in battle which is the ''French campaign in Egypt and Syria 1798-1801 '' in the real Napoleon history , This is simply a wonderful and exciting battle that i ever seen in your Channel , Good Work Lion Heart!!! ❤❤❤Vive la France,Vive la empereur!!!!🎉🎉🎉
fun facts about this build order: - this deck is ALMOST (few exchanges in decks, but not too much, main cards were indeed used) treaty viable (revolution too). - there is a limit towards experience gained through the upgrade that gives experience for each shipment you sent to 2000 experience total (afaik 200 exp each), but there is no limit from other upgrade that gives experience for each building. - afaik there is no cap how many revolutionaries you get from one of the revolutionary France card. Or maybe I didn't reach it after 1 hour game (got 97 revolutionaries). Don't forget you can still get 100 musketeers still and there is another card that delivers revolutionaries. - revolting gives you church upgrades so there is no need to add special church upgrades to your deck. I didn't catch it when I got those, but I got from somewhere lol - speaking of church card, its better to go for special French upgrade right after revolting since those revolutionary settlers are pretty bad at gathering. - technically you can ignore 2 factories cards because revolutionary France has them, but they add so much tempo right after revolting. - those settlers are gathering slower even from shipments' chests so keep this in mind too. - those Napoleonic goons aren't receiving bonus against artillery (bugged or intended, no clue). - After revolting all native scouts becomes cavalry. This cav is irrelevant super late game but can be used to flank opponents cannons. They do receive vs artillery bonuses upgrades. - Rev. French settlers at siege damage have x4 against treasures. No clue why.
seeing your absolute joy, from the moment Kevin clicked up to the Napoleonic Era, was infectious. This is the most fun Age Empires 3 video ive seen xD xD
Fantastic game! Great to finally see the Napoleonic era get some usage at the top level. Love that Kerimb went Egypt in the end too. Firm handshakes all round
Like de Kopcu corps , for say " Cent-Q-Law-the " ;) BTW it litterally means " without pants" in French ( because short pants were for aristocrats and nobles while peasants had longer stripped trousers )
Lol, devs just forgot about balance and thought about historical accuracy. I thought otto mosque siphai+5 bombard spike was vroken but they literally made France unbeatable. Would love to see each civ gets their version of Napoleonic revolution.
I think nerfing spahi atk against vills would be a similar concept to nerfing uhlans atk vs vills. I'm definitely not saying those 2 units are the same. They have their own uniqueness and they get utilised in their own special way. (Spahi=timing power spike and uhlan=slight atk increase over massive hp drop)
Uhlans come free with every shipment from Age 2 on and can be trained from stables though, whereas Sipahi can only be obtained through tech or shipment, so Uhlans put pressure on eco much sooner
I'm a bit late to the party but whatever the french explorer here is called Fernig Sister, the Fernigs were two sisters who enrolled in the french army during the revolution, and were allowed to stay in service after they were found to be women, and even became small celebrities, unfortunately the general they were serving under defected to Austria in 1793, and they were suspected of involvement in this treason, they denied it but were nevertheless exiled, and said exile was revoked in 1802
It does get out scaled ultimately. It’s good for a hit but Sansculotte gather significantly worse then normal vills and can’t be upgraded except for cards which only help a little for food and have less HP then cdbs. You really need to know what you are doing for this to work and if the opponent knows it’s shortcomings it’ll be over quite fast. The gren gather card only works for natural resources although the rates are very good and grenade launchers are nasty.
25:36 perhaps Kerim is Bosniak himself:D Idk, just guessing, a lot of Turkish players like involving their ethnicity in their deck, and a lot of Turks are actually of Bosniak origins and stuff, I personally like to include Greek soldiers for the same reason
How do the Canadian Villes (mostly Voyageurs over Pathfinders) with all upgrades square against enemy villes who have turned revolutionary. Looking at the attack damages of the revolutionaries versus the upgraded C.D.B.s - are they just better in their bonuses/multipliers, but at the expense of health & gather rates? With 1 35% health increase from allies, coats, then +65% home card... a C.D.B. can be 420 or so health & 25 damage & since Sansques and such aren't villagers anymore they have a 0.25 (1/4) attack modifier against these upgraded villes - yet take full damage from the units which are still villes & have more damage than them (all still have 3.0 attack/reload timers too). I'm figuring out all 3 AoEs at the moment - although IV... really needs to 'I won't even say it'. But I know AoE II fairly in and out within less than a year. Though for AoE III here, just the min-maxing is hard to figure out (or it's very elusive) just due to the many ways the game can progress in (e.g. it would essentially be impossible to reach the 100-120, even 140 ville equivalent without making too much army that you could in AoE II on maps like Arena). So maybe looking for someone or even better, a group to discuss with... as since my perspectives can be all over the place right now - I essentially don't think I can ask the right questions per se!
Also say it/spell it as 'Napoleonic Aera'. The 'ae' is from Latin & said as 'I' in the alphabet. It I think came about in late Latin since it references different types of common metals/alloys... so we can say Bronze, Silver & Gold for medals & have bronze age, iron age, etc. Not sure if that's the genuine link or reasoning there, but I find using the old versions more 'reasonable' - I guess. But I just love all of those crazy-awesome British accents, especially when your voices go off (high or low).
Did they nerf the 100days card to require 100pop now? looks like he shipped it here with 198/200 pop but the card for me requires 100pop to be available so thats a huge nerf or am I missing something?
15:57 i think that's the Kapıkulu corps, not Topçu corps the Topçu Corps is the Great Bombard one, while the Kapıkulu corps is the Sipahi one i would also get them mixed if i had to cast that fight, it was intense, those Abus mfs went FLYING 18:48 i'm pretty sure that Si is in Italian or Spanish :)))) Oui is in french :)))) the villagers are pronounced like this: sahn-kyulot (I want you to become the most cultured brit in history) 30:40 car-bin-ear
He named his deck Janissary yet no card justifies the name i.e. the deck being centred around Janissaries; no combat card, advanced arsenal etc. But why not, cause it sounds cool in Turkic right?
there's no reason to nerf it, the tradeoff to this revolt is you have to be able to send a lot of shipments or you'll fizzle out before you even reach the napoleonic stuff. You can get to imperial easier than you can get to the napoleonic revolution, way easier, all you have to do is gather resources. with french, you have to send like 10 cards and the cards have resource prices and the xp price of cards increases over time, so even if you kill a lot of stuff and produce a lot of stuff it gets harder and harder to reach this revolt and even harder to get benefits from it. it doesn't need a nerf. on top of all of this, it's a dedicated build order, and once people catch onto it more, build orders get countered by build orders
You have to pay that cost to ship it. You don’t get given it. Your vills gather worse and sure there’s some things like Grens gathering but ultimately if you don’t win soonish, you will get outscaled.
