It's a haunting song to me, and I relate to the longing feeling in the lyrics. Whether it's from being in a long-distance relationship, or missing an ex.
The part of the song where Mike Kinsella wistfully sings, "Just the thought of being seen...is more than I can take. I never met a mirror that I couldn't break." Very relatable. Being seen is a way I feel deeply loved, but also being seen (for both my good and bad) is scary!! The self-sabotage of fighting against someone who is trying to hold space for me sometimes is real. Ohhh conflicts with intimacy XD
