Check it out as Morgan and I show you some of the highlights of the Timber Trail in the Pureora Forest! This time, we are on eBikes, but it makes for a great ride on your mountain bike too. We run a four-day trip that incorporates some riding in Rotorua's famous Whakarewarewa Forest and the Timber Trail in its entirety. Check it out here - newzealandmoun...
Get out there and ride it! Let me know what you think!

Sooo much flow! Thanks man I worked hard to make that happen...but that's the feedback that brings a smile to my dial... cheers Hoz
Btw, love the moto brapps...moto is part of my background and that no doubt influenced my design decisions...of course I had to massage all that into the cycleways design criteria...although the digger crews often did not deliver on my design approach. But overall it worked out okay, and is fun to blast through....
Thanks for sharing the Timber Trail love! 🚲
🙌
Awesome guys, did it before Xmas in torrential rain - still an amazing trail
Nice one!
Nice vid team! Ive done the trail 5 times now both over 2 days and the single day epic. Love the first 30 or so k through the natives. The descent from highest point down to Bogg Inn bridge is something else. Last time was there it looked like they were widening the trail and smoothing it out with gravel? Hopefully not too much as the single track through the trees is what makes it so special. Looking forward to getting back sometime soon. :)
I reckon my favorite boy is also the descent into the Bog Inn bridge. Second day has some amazing bridges and views though
rode the T.T. a few years ago but only managed to hit the lodge before I had to head back, would like to do the entirety of the trail next time.... riding across the bridges gave a surreal sensation and I had a chuckle at the signs saying 'steep descent ahead'
There are some good signs eh. But they do apply.
What an awesome video, how did you go with battery mileage? How many watt hours were you guys running and how long per day did it last for.
Cheers.
Thanks Chris. Batteries are 630wh and they comfortably do 1day at a time. Each day is 40km.
You can charge up at the lodge if you need
Can you please turn thst bosch motor wine down. 😂
Full power!
Is this one way?
No it’s not. There is a recommended way that most people do it which is north to south.
