I’m actually quite nervous for his reaction on the remaining 5 albums because it’s very different from rep.
@@nixllamas9823 a midnights stan? Me too! 😭 it's my favorite album only after ttpd, I actually think he'll love it, maybe not all of it you're right, I see it as as a mix between 1989/rep so it'll probably be mixed. I actually think he wont like lover at all since I had the same taste (became her fan with rep, didnt really vibe with alot of lover, loved folk more and midnights and ttpd)

I love Midnights because I like the synthpop dreampop genre, but most importantly I love that album’s creative concept and aesthetic. Sleeplessness? Stars? Sparkles? Space? Sign me up!
I believe Taylor stopped working with Max Martin because he demands writing credits despite doing none of the writing. This was revealed in a court case where he had to admit to a jury that he did not actually have any hand in writing lyrics for Shake It Off but it's in his contract that he gets writing credits for anything he produces(over the years, many have sued Taylor and Max by claiming they stole 'players gonna play' from at least 2 dozen other songs by now[all lawsuits failed btw]). Taylor is over giving people for things they didn't actually help with. However, even the most minor suggestion or change gets a credit. Zoe Kravitz even has writing credits on songs on Midnights because she was with Taylor in the studio and gave a few pointers. So, it's not like Max is being jipped. He just wasn't helping with the writing.
Yes I kind of figured that from before, when she had those addendums to her 1989 album. And she played the clip of when she played her song Blank Space to Max Martin for the first time. And it was clearly already written. And then she said, and then Max Martin added in an "Oh!". Ha ha. So I can tell even at the time, she was mocking him, like okay, all he added in was an oh, lol.
And that's why I've never liked Max. He's great as a producer, but very greedy. Also, what about Shellback or Ilya Salmanzadeh (I might've misspelled his name)? Do they require writing credits too? Cause if not, she should start working with them again, they're as good as Max
@@wazowski6602 I'm still wondering what exactly happened to Sellback. “This one is my favorite” me smiling at my screen while watching, cause that statement alone beats grammys snubbing this album of the nomination for AOTY
Taylor won in the end, despite them snubbing rep lol. Lover being the top selling album of 2019, folklore was a chef’s kiss genre switch AOTY, evermore while underrated is loved by the fans, Midnights and TTPD: both record breaking. Let’s also add the success of the rerecordings and Eras tour, so yeah Taylor had the last laugh in the end lol.
Ready for it was the tour opener. The performance is everything you'd expect. The version with the tour intro must be watched! End Game benefits from the music video, as the live only has her segements, the MV has Ed Sheeran and Future I did something bad is a pivotal live in her progression, as she along with Ready for it, continue to mature and refine her choreography and performance skills DONT BLAME ME!!! The live is a must watch!
REP stans now is our time! During the reputation era is when I became a Taylor Swift fan and let me tell you it gets slept on. The REP tour was everything!
Look What You Made Me Do was the FIRST single from this album. I wasn't even a fan at the time, but I still very clearly remember the day that video dropped. The entire world was like "What the fuck is this?"
ok so suggestion for the performances reaction stream for this album is DEFINITELY - i did something bad - don't blame me performances from the reputation stadium tour film specifically.
You should definitely watch the Reputation Tour at some point, seeing this album live with the visuals really helped sell me on it (and sell me on some of the songs I initially wasn't sure about)
If you think you were flabbergasted, imagine the fans. we had no idea what we were in for. She did zero press at all for this album and had been on a break for a year, we don’t really know how she was doing or what she’d been up to, she deleted everything off her instagram and posted a video of a snake hissing. The clearing her throat at the at the beginning of Ready For It is because she literally hadn’t said anything in so long.
Great reaction. Watching the Look What You Made Me Do music video will help give some context to the song, especially at the very end. I love Reputation, and can't wait for TV and the Vault songs.
Rep is my favorite, and Ready For It is probably my second favorite of hers of all time, thank you SO much for the reaction of getting to see you mind blown about that! You loved all the underrated songs I stan for, this was EVERYTHING, thank you so much! You neeeeeed to see the Rep Tour for sure, but if not that at *least* the Reputation chunk of Eras if you're not planning to watch that for us (but you should!). The string of Ready For It, I Did Something Bad, and Don't Blame Me on Reputation Tour is PEAK touring up till Eras.
I know I made a ton of comments, but watching someone with a genuine open mind, realise how much work and craft Taylor puts into her music, is a wonderful thing, Even when the decide she's not for them.
your reactions trip me up. you listen and i think you won't like it but then it's just you being in awe or surprised. lol. you should watch the reputation stadium tour.
I maintain that Dancing With Our Hands Tied itself felt a little lost in the sauce. The subject matter/lyrics were so dissonant with the production/music itself - and not in the intentionally contrasting way, like she does in some other songs (like Anti-Hero and some others you'll come across soon) - that it felt incredibly jarring to me. Hearing it acoustic in the rep tour kinda really changed it for me - I *vastly* prefer it acoustic. (side note, please watch that one once you're done with TTPD, as well as the eras tour film!) Loving your reactions so far, thank you for taking the time and seriously engaging with the music the whole way through! And I absolutely love that you're a SSSS (Stay Stay Stay Stan), really looking forward to seeing your reaction to a similarly silly track in an upcoming album 😉
Ive been binging your TSwift videos today and can i just say your takes and opinions are VALID and i appreciate throughout your journey that you appreciate the albums for what they are and not talk down HAAAARD like how sometimes people criticize certain albums cuz for us fellow Swifties we all believe that a "bad" Taylor album doesnt exist, we just like one better than the other. It is what it is (speaking as a 1989 Stan, yes im sad that you didnt like Say Dont Go that much but its okay) and im very excited for when these videos or streams,if i can catch it on time, drop and i very much appreciate it from you❤️
swifties as a fanbase is so massive so yeah the personal taylor album rankings varies a lot. like I don’t get why people get mad when other swifties/reactors rank their fave albums lower in the Taylor totem pole, when it’s just a matter of preference when it comes to her entire body of work. sure I physically ache when I see albums like Midnights or like TTPD at the bottom, but I simply move on and stream harder for mother lol.
@nixllamas9823 I agree like I remember sometimes when I watch Troy's reaction videos where I hardly disagree with some takes but I have to realize at the end of the day, we gotta appreciate that people who haven't listen to any of Taylor's music are starting to get into it now and for that I'm just grateful we are getting these videos today. Love the reaction and really appreciated how respectful you're even though some of the songs are not your cup of tea. I'm going to make a prediction that he's not going to like folklore and Evermore as much.
This is a lot if you would do it but I’d love to see you react to every tour, ending with the eras tour which takes inspo from each of the previous tours so you’d get the references more. So all in all that would be fearless tour, speak now tour, red tour, 1989 tour, rep tour, and then eras tour so that’s 7 tours all in all, a lot of content and I bet you there’s an audience for it, I think you could do it!! And to like see her progression as a performer. But yeah if you only want specific performances it will probably show itself in the comments which ones are the most requested, but just consider at least for a moment doing all the tours, kinda like you’ve done all the albums, see each tour as yet another projects of hers that evolve over time and build on each other and it’ll show you so much more vibe/visuals for each album as well and add to the world-building, but yeah big project to take on but you’re doing wonderfully with the albums so I just thought I’d at least suggest it 🫶
I didnt realize you stanned Debut! That's one of my favorite albums too. Some of the songs aren't as good, but the top songs are unforgettable. It's an amazing album, that gets little fanfare. So I'm glad you recognized that.
OMG!!!! Jerry! you gotta do the Rep Stadium Tour. The transformative ways she does some of these. I Did Something Bad....so much better live. The whole performance is amazing as hell!
I’m glad you do a recap before the album closer because the closer is a message, she really tries to sum up the album on the closer and to leave with one song. IMO New Years Day is, at this point in her discography, a top 2 closer as far as the message she wants to leave the listener with, to sum up the album. its a perfect closer. She has some good ones, but this one is at this point in her evolution in my top 2.
Max is amazing, but Jack, as Taylor’s best friend knows what she likes. I think he really shines in the last 4. Especially Folklore, Evermore, and TTPD as they’re my top 3 favorite albums🫶🏻 I can’t wait for those reactions!!!
From what you said, you absolutely need to watch the Reputation Tour videos. Like the intro and all its just one of her best performances. Especially Ready for it? And I did something bad. And also Don't blame me.
Listen, I've been here since the start of this Tay journey and for the whole time I've been trying to figure out something about you Jerry and I didn't know what it is even. It has finally dawned on me. I know what it is. It's that you sound so much like Hiccup from HTTYD. I'm sure you get it all the time, I'm sure. I'm proud of myself for finally getting it though. so shush. Enjoying this very much :)
The JD Vance comment made sense. The lyric he was commenting on at the time “I’ll go home to my cat” Vance has made disparaging comments on childless cat ladies. Made logical sense to me.
This has become my favorite first time listening series in a long time - I LOVE when people actually care about the lore because it’s why we’ve all been here for almost 20 years lol. Thanks for giving each album a chance and spending real time getting to know it 🥲
my biggest suggestions for must watch performances are, all of the reputation stadium tour and out of the woods live from the 1989 world tour, they are absolutely show stopping
I’ve been loving your reactions! I was hoping to watch this live on twitch but I lost WiFi/cell service from Hurricane Milton :/ I knew you would enjoy this album!
Poor Jerry. Was all good til he was told it's the last of Max Martin lol. Dude looked so sad lol. Oh and uh maybe do one reaction video of watching ALL of her music videos. And then another one is about live stage performances. And another one could be watching the documentary Miss Americana, and/or The Making of A Song for Reputation and/or Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions (live studio performance during COVID). There's alot of content left Jerry. I'm sure many will point you in the right direction and compile a list for you to check out.
Keep in mind she is 26 here and not 16. And as far as “been with a lot of dudes”, you need to realize not all were adult relationships. Only since Red were they adult relationships. Now, she is a woman not a child and that is normal. it is not “a ton of dudes” but she is a songwriter. It’s like going off to college and it’s normal to meet boys and have some fun, remember Nothing New. They tell ya to go have fun at a young age, then criticize you when you do. At this point she really hasn’t had many adult relationships.
Big TOOL fan here, and also a big Swifty! You are in for a treat with this woman! She is brilliant! I would suggest to take a look at the live performances for "Ready for it?", "I did something bad" and "Don't blame me" from the Reputation Tour and she will blow your mind. Also take a look at the video for "Look what you made me do" one of the most brilliant music videos ever made. Nearly every frame of that video is a reference to something.
Live performances that are a MUST WATCH from this album: ready for it I did something bad Look what you made me do (All from the Reputation tour)!! Don’t blame me (from the eras tour) I got into Taylor through folklore and am not the biggest fan of pop sounds like this and I didn’t initially like Reputation but then I saw these live performances and that completely sold me!
The Reputation tour is a MUST WATCH. You will be blown away.
I thought nothing could beat Rep Tour in terms of live performances (and maaaaybe nothing does) but holy fucking shit the chunk of Rep on Eras...

I attended the whole live and now I’m watching the entire reaction again 🤷🏼♂️
Because THIS ALBUM IS SO GOOD
This is a lot if you would do it but I’d love to see you react to every tour, ending with the eras tour which takes inspo from each of the previous tours so you’d get the references more. So all in all that would be fearless tour, speak now tour, red tour, 1989 tour, rep tour, and then eras tour so that’s 7 tours all in all, a lot of content and I bet you there’s an audience for it, I think you could do it!! And to like see her progression as a performer. But yeah if you only want specific performances it will probably show itself in the comments which ones are the most requested, but just consider at least for a moment doing all the tours, kinda like you’ve done all the albums, see each tour as yet another projects of hers that evolve over time and build on each other and it’ll show you so much more vibe/visuals for each album as well and add to the world-building, but yeah big project to take on but you’re doing wonderfully with the albums so I just thought I’d at least suggest it 🫶
you should definitely look out for the rock version of 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together ' on the 1989 Tour!
Dont Blame Me x Look what you Made me do on the eras tour is the best transition of ALL TIME
RATaRatataRatatata...she's singing it 😂😂
hearing you say "moving along" made me realize i think youd love 5sos's album youngblood!
Yeah, you definitely need to watch the opening of the Reputation tour film (intro + Ready for It) and Don't Blame Me.
you should definitely watch the reputation tour! the live version of this album is so so good
I didnt realize you stanned Debut!
The way she ate both ed and future in endgame is so crazy
never will be more crazy that she brought them two on to collaborate and then ate them for breakfast lol
I hope after you react to the Lover album, you react to Miss Americana documentary.
Max is amazing, but Jack, as Taylor’s best friend knows what she likes. I think he really shines in the last 4. Especially Folklore, Evermore, and TTPD as they’re my top 3 favorite albums🫶🏻 I can’t wait for those reactions!!!
welcome back swiftie bees!
From what you said, you absolutely need to watch the Reputation Tour videos. Like the intro and all its just one of her best performances.
Especially Ready for it? And I did something bad. And also Don't blame me.
we need both Rep Tour and Eras Tour reactions after you’re done with the discog 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
will forever be a rep Stan 🖤
DANCING WITH OUR HANDS TIED IS MY FAVORITE SINCE 2017 🖤
Listen, I've been here since the start of this Tay journey and for the whole time I've been trying to figure out something about you Jerry and I didn't know what it is even. It has finally dawned on me. I know what it is. It's that you sound so much like Hiccup from HTTYD. I'm sure you get it all the time, I'm sure. I'm proud of myself for finally getting it though. so shush.
Enjoying this very much :)
Hahahaha Ive only gotten that once before so it's not unheard of
The JD Vance comment made sense. The lyric he was commenting on at the time “I’ll go home to my cat”
Vance has made disparaging comments on childless cat ladies.
Made logical sense to me.
This has become my favorite first time listening series in a long time - I LOVE when people actually care about the lore because it’s why we’ve all been here for almost 20 years lol. Thanks for giving each album a chance and spending real time getting to know it 🥲
Yesss i was waiting for this🔥🔥🔥
this man was GAGGED 😭🥰😌🤌
my biggest suggestions for must watch performances are, all of the reputation stadium tour and out of the woods live from the 1989 world tour, they are absolutely show stopping
Found this channel yesterday and Im so glad Reputation is already posted!!
Please react to the entire Reputation set from the Eras Tour. She kills Ready for It, Don’t Blame Me, and Look What You Made Me Do.
REP TOUR PLEASE straight Jerm Bot
Ready for it, I did something bad, don't blame me, king of my heart on Reputation tour are unreal.
U HAVE to watch I did something bad live from rep tour ITS UNMATCHED
I love how in deed it is true, than any man who publicly announces listening to Taylor Swift, must indeed preface his sexuality.
At this point she really hasn’t had many adult relationships.
that "gorgeous" prediction was so good LOL
I agreee with that comment to feel lukewarm about thee GETAWAY CAR is CRAZY that’s her magnum opus😭
You really gotta watch the Reputation Tour performances now!!
Jack's songs are incredible ❤
i’m scared for folklore and evermore, literally all slow songs
Th e music videos and live performances to these songs are fire! Please react and we’ll watch for sure! Great reaction!
Yes go for the live performances!!!!
You literally dont know how excited i was for you to get to this album. 🖤
Edit: getaway car is the best pop song ever written. Fight me.
it’s a fan fave amongst us, he’s just one person lol if he didn’t appreciate it as much as we do, we’ll live.
someone said "i need a face translator" 😭😭😭
He is impossible to read, or I don't get him yet, poker face, he should be a professional gambler
Best sounding is really subjective. Depends on what your taste is. Jack is a great friend to Taylor. Have respect.
I will never change, but will never stay the same either. ~taylor swift
1:29:00 nothing is really a coincidence in Swiftland, it just intertwines into one another
Big TOOL fan here, and also a big Swifty!
I also think Jerry is going to be blown away when folklore comes on the scene
For the Lover album, please include the songs Need and All of the girls which are not on the album but are from the same era ♡♡
Live performances that are a MUST WATCH from this album: ready for it
I did something bad
Look what you made me do
(All from the Reputation tour)!!
Don’t blame me (from the eras tour)
I got into Taylor through folklore and am not the biggest fan of pop sounds like this and I didn’t initially like Reputation but then I saw these live performances and that completely sold me!
