How many Valjeans do you know of that have played Erik, Raoul, Gustave, and Enjorlas?
Yes he did. Years ago. He is the only actor to have played Erik, Raoul, and Gustave Daae (2004 film)
Krista Masucci noo he is the phantom of the opera! hadley fraser was raoul
images6.fanpop.com/image/photos/33000000/Ramin-as-Raoul-ramin-karimloo-33091513-500-333.jpg
oooh ok i didnt know that
Love him most as Phantom and Enjolras and Hadley as Raoul and Grantaire
THIS MAN ISNT REAL
This song brought a standing ovation from the audience when I saw him do it on stage. He deserved the 2014 actor of the year award.
Who won that year
Bubbles 105539 Neil Patrick Harris, I believe
The acoustic guitar works so well here! That accompanist is amazing honestly, not that Ramin isn't, but I think he deserves just as much appreciation.
As for Ramin, obviously he sounds amazing. He has amazing technique and crazy good breath support. I am always impressed with his work.
I agree, it takes a beyond excellent musician to accompany a voice like Ramin's.
Dedicate this to my 4 year old with cystic fibrosis who is battling a sickness right now... Let him be, let him live, if i die, let me die, let him live...
I hope everything is going okay. My prayers sent your way
remember.... marius was saved

His voice is as pretty as his face

Such a tough call. His face and voice are sexy as fuck
@@brandonhagan9570 i second this
He'll always be the phantom to me
For me he'll always be Valjean. Seeing him in Les Miz was one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. This performance does no justice to what I saw. It was the only time I've ever seen a theater give someone a standing ovation during a performance
But, I also agree with you. Andrew Lloyd Weber hand picked him to play the phantom in "love never dies". So he's obviously Lloyd's favorite phantom
DJ Flakes - and Sir Andrew also chose Sierra Boggess as his fav Christine. Sierra and Ramin are absolute perfection together in anything they do. Also the very best of friends.
Michael Crawford will always be my Phantom but Karim is definitely close behind him off my favorite
I never had the amazing pleasure. Was blessed to see Michael Crawford and several others. Michael was the best but listening to rahim makes me wish I could see him
That ending was perfect. It was just what I needed. Colm Wilkinson has passed the torch.
I love Ramin sooo much but Colm IS Valjean
Apparently he saw Colm in phantom when he was young, and he knew he wanted to do phantom. So seeing him sing this and KNOWING Colm has passed the torch means lots to me bc I’m a Ramin Stan 😂 and also to him I’m sure
Colm literally did the Les Mis equivalent of passing the torch though because in the Toronto production Colm played the bishop for a gala production when Ramin was Valjean and Colm literally handed Ramin the candlesticks then they did a Bring Him Home duet at the end of the show
@@paulbloom8847, no!
He is gifted but no one can touch Colm W.
He truly is an angel of music.
Space Gandalf for the win...Yeahh! *_*
You little
You little
+Space Gandalf angel of music you decived me I thought you were the phantom of the opera
Space Gandalf I absolutely agree.
I’m not trying to be dramatic but my body’s automatic reaction to hearing Ramin Karimloo sing is to cry.
I just, I cannot. This man is too perfect. God, his VOICE IS PERFECTION. If they don't make a professional recording of this cast I am going to cry
They need a cast recording!!
+Maddie Dobson NO! the eponine is awful...will just ruin the recording
what's even better is Ramin is i think entirely self taught
I am in love...that voice.
@@Ben-my2wz, not only!Cossete and Fantina are worth too!
So clean! When they perfect the cloning of DNA and the manufacture of human organs, I am having Ramin's vocal chords cloned and transplanted into my dysfunctional and disappointing voice box. I'm sure my insurance will cover the procedure because I am only asking for a very tiny part of human anatomy that can be grown in a small petri dish. It's not as if Im being greedy and asking for Ramin's whole body! I am prepared to sing "Bring Him Home" to the council in charge of deciding on such matters and I am more than confident they will grant me my wish before I even finish the song!
KMSL! 😂😂😂😂
+Richard Federico He can sing flawlessly and has the body of a greek god *faints*
+Richard Federico Hahahah, oh bless your heart, if only.
😂😂😂😂😂😂perfectly put and funny to boot...
One of the most educated & unique comments i have ever read! 😄👍
I am a 40 year old man, and that had me in tears
Who can sing this to a guitar? I cry every time I hear him sing this song. He sings like a violin. No schooling. Just blessed. My daughter had the privilege of sharing the stage with him. He was a role model to her. True raw talent.
That's amazing!
This is why Hugh Jackman was wrong for Jean Valjean. Not because he doesn't have the talent - he really does - but because he doesn't have the range to do this song justice.
This...goosebumps, not even halfway through.
Why did they cast Hugh then?
Name recognition. I thought that was obvious.
Like I said, he is quite talented, and I'd pay to see him in a show without a second thought; he just wasn't right for the vocal part.
Not-Homesick NG John Rain Also, Jackman really really pushed for the movie to be made. Wouldn't have been made without him.
Yes millions would have seen the movie with an unknown. Jackman sang it just fine, not the best and a lot better than a lot of actors I've seen both in NY and London. And Jackman's acting was perfection, something which cannot be said for the majority of actors who played this role on stage. Ramin Karimloo is perfection.
Hey guys, I love Ramin Karimloo's voice as much as everyone else but Hugh Jackman definitely killed it. I think he has the range for this song and much more. If you notice Hugh sings it full voice the whole time. Ramin goes for this headvoice/falsetto thing for the majority of the song( which is beautiful) but Hugh does it full without sounding like he's straining. And I agree with Nick, Hugh Jackman's acting is stellar!
This guy is the broadway legend of this generation...
Yes, even with only actually doing one show on Broadway!
Sage Matise
he starred in like half of broadway's large productions...
Rose Uchiha
yes, but les mis is the only one he's actually done on braodway
*broad
Sage Matise
what do you mean? He was the broadway phantom
Still don't understand how he didn't win the Tony. Ramin is so amazing.
***** I understand it was kinda expected Neil would win, but Ramin is absolutely amazing and still wish he won. I'm at least happy for his nomination.
@@maddiedobson9518 ikr its crazy
Most people get goosebumps when they hear an amazing singer.
I get goosebumps just from the thought of him singing.
he sang that while SEATED!!!! wtf??
not only is he talented, he is so humble and nice and he sings this song beautifully. such a great actor as well. I'm sad he's leaving the show, but I hope he has fun in japan
Everyone's all on about his voice (which is definitely incredibly beautiful!) but I was struck by his eyes in this video. Wow.
Jan Jorissen Professional actor eyes.
Well. Also his arm 😍😉
Me too, he has so much raw emotions in his eyes.
My goodness, this man is like fine wine - he just gets better with age! And he's gorgeous!!!
Lol what an amazing voice. Every time I hear him sing it always sounds like phantom to me, really great. Ramin will always be my fav
incredibly hard song to sing, Ramin KILLED it. saw on broadway last night and it was perfection.
Im going to see him in october in new york. I'm probably going to fan girl and cry the whole time. I cry almost everytime I hear him sing.
I saw it too it was so good. What did you think of the Enjolras?
on the whole i thought the entire cast was excellent, except eponine. She did well on her own song, On My Own, but her voice did not suit well with any of the others.
It's a ridiculously hard song. I just finished playing Valjean at my college and song was by far the mod difficult. But it's so incredible to actually be on the stage singing it. The truth of the song only really hits home when you're performing it live. Ramin you're incredible!
Didn’t realise until a week ago that he is the actor who plays a doctor, Kian Madani, in the vision series Holby City.
Wow, I only knew this guy from his current role as surgeon Kian Madani in the UK TV series 'Holby City' so this was a complete shock to see and hear him singing this great song so beautifully. I'm totally blown away.
He was Valjean, Marius, Enjolras, Phantom and Raoul, Chris in Miss Saigon, Gleb in Anastasia, Archibald in The Secret Garden, Che in Evita, Anatoly in Chess etc. He's amazing. Love him in Holby too ❤️
GIVE HIM HIS TONY AWARD RIGHT NOW!!!!😍😍
Mans really just belting here like it's nothing.... WHILE SITTING.
I heard him sing this the day of my wedding on this show. The two most important people in my life, had passed away (one 6 months previous). I just sat there and wept as I knew they could not be there physically, but was hoping they were with me anyway.
I'm hunting down the 81 people who have disliked this masterpiece
Edit "ffs 133" ???
Are people alright or do they need to have their ears checked?🤨
Got a standing ovation when he sang this at the performance I went to (after the show the actors said it was the best he's ever done it) the crowd was cheering so much they had to delay the next part because we wouldn't stop
Can't get over the fact that the same guy who plays Valjean is Madani in Holby. Each time I see him on Holby, this song pops into my head...'If I die, let me die. Let him live'.
I don't know if there's anyone else who appreciates this, but I LOVE the little squeaks at the end of Ramin's long powerful notes. It's like he has so much power and emotion in there that the notes can't even convey all that. What an incredible musician. Brings tears to my eyes almost every time!
Agreed.
The rise in pitch and inflection in his high notes show he can go even higher, but is showing amazing control to keep it all fluid.
It's a true mark of an incredible singer.
There’s got to be a name for those
@@marshmallowallen5677 They're his little Ramin squeaks!!! :)))
@@marshmallowallen5677 In reality I *think* it's something of a glottle stop perhaps?
@@miaplaysthepiano that makes sense as a name. Although there are so many wrong names for things in music that it’s kinda hard to know
Enough to make me want me to see it in person in the theater...which I imagine was the point from the beginning. Ramin has quite the voice and presence.
Sick voice, for sure. And he's singing this "sitting down." That's very difficult to do, especially when you have all those high notes. He even takes the low notes of this song and makes them dramatic. Can't wait to see and hear more of him, for sure. Thanks for sharing!
The amount of goosebumps I get listening to him sing is incredible. His voice is a true gift from God.
This is amazing but he did this song with BBC and I think that’s even better than this. More atmospheric. Try search it
I couldn't have said it better!!
I’ve got goosebumps on goosebumps he is truly an angel of music
Props to the guitarist, perfect volume control. A brilliant accompanyist! No need to say how good Ramin is :).
My opinion...This is the single greatest version of this song EVER!
Who is that on guitar?
Sergio Ortega..from NYC band The Dives
How has this video got dislikes? Are you mad? or deaf? That right there is pure mastery of his craft. Bravo Ramin, Bravo.
I usually don't like Bring Him Home because of the key, but Ramin makes me want to listen to it on repeat
Wait, what do you have against A major?
Just saw his performance last week - it was amazing and displayed the full range of his talent! A cast album from this show at the Imperial in NYC is a MUST!!!
ok, I have not seen this show on Broadway. But what I do know is this Ramin Karimloo is an awesome singer. Anyone that says otherwise, I would like to hear you sing!! And when he says he is tired and old, Ramin is not talking about himself. Listen to the song!!
What a gorgeous voice he has - absolutely perfect for this song.
marecku21 1:40!!
My husband and daughter knows how much I love Ramin and they are going with me to see Les Mis in August. I'm sure we're going to have a fantastic time!
Lucky!! I live all the way down in Texas, so I can't see him. Way to expensive😩
He sings with so much love. Oh my God. How I love him.
Ramin Karimloo nails it down perfect...
This song, this guy....I can't even....
He leaves me speechless every time he sings! Amazing!
Seated, accompanied by a guitar, and delivering a jaw-dropping performance of this show stopper like it’s nothing…with a twinkle in his eyes. 🤯🤯🤯
His "The summers die..." part is the greatest moment in the History of Musical Theatre
Thank you; finally a broadway performer who actually SINGS this instead of croon-and-scream it; hats off sir!
An open letter to Broadway and the West End: Cast Ramin in more things. Cast Ramin in ALL the things.
everyone always wishes ramin to sing all the song from Phantom of the opers all I ask of you to Anastasia My st Petersburg but I do agree with you
God on high
Hear my prayer
In my need
You have always been there
He is young
He's afraid
Let him rest
Heaven blessed.
Bring him home
Bring him home
Bring him home.
He's like the son I might have known
If God had granted me a son.
The summers die
One by one
How soon they fly
On and on
And I am old
And will be gone.
Bring him peace
Bring him joy
He is young
He is only a boy
You can take
You can give
Let him be
Let him live
If I die, let me die
Let him live
Bring him home
Bring him home
Bring him home.
Oh my goodness is he gorgeous! And what a voice!!! He reminds me of Colm Wilkinson and John Owen Jones in this. Wow!!! Anybody want to join me while I hitchhike across the country and go see Les Mis?
He's beautiful, of course, but I am stuck forever on his Phantom performance - that was truly perfection.
Had the honor of seeing his stunning performance with my own eyes on the Les Miserables Toronto production! He has an amazing voice and a one of a kind talent.
Why am I just finding this NOW??
The accompaniment is amazing. I love the expression on the accompaniment's face @2:58. Bravo.
He’s not just singing about god, he is GOD!
This is like actual perfection. How can one man be so amazing!? He's kind, amazingly talented and SOOO HANDSOME!!!!
Bravo! I saw him perform on Broadway last night and the ovation after "Bring Him Home" stopped the show. I've seen Les Mis seven times on Broadway through the years and with all due respect to Colm Wilkinson, Fred Inkley, J. Mark McVey, Tim Shew, Gary Moss and Alexander Gemignani, IMHO Ramin Karimloo's performance was simply the best ever!
Ramin Karimloo is perfection.
He is my angel of music ❤️
i just had an eargasm
Oh me too.
He was an amazing phantom!
Literally can't handle how perfect he is..
And now I'm pregnant.
A young Robert Downey Jr ..... with killer vocals
Love the acoustic guitar version, really different feel, and the push forward in tempo is lovely!
I cant believe I didnt get a chance to go see him in this show before he left. He's so talented. Meeting him at the stage door would have completed my life
Wow....I've seen probably 20 different singers perform this song and never heard it done as well. Speechless!
Considering this is a live performance, it is just astounding.. It is of studio quality (to my untrained ear).. I wish I could get this exact performance on my iPod. He really nailed it. There is something about the chord progression in the guitar as Ramin is holding the last note that is slightly different than what I expected, second to last chord I think.. Sounds really, really nice like this with the guitar. Superb presentation all around!
He played the role of Enjolras in the 25th Anniversary Concert. He truly is a gifted singer.
Ramin Karimloo a man of many talents, an incredible singer with a voice that is pure heaven. Whilst doing one of the best hands down unintentional impressions of a Tony Stark lookalike in this video.
Please, who has this guitar arrangement, sheet or tab, please!
I haven’t hear Ramin sing this role before, but I gotta say: the man understood the assignment. It’s not just about vocal power and being able to hit the high notes. Bring Him Home is a prayer, it should come from the heart.
Ever so many years we are blessed with a soul whom we feel has everything we hope to experience and Ramin is our love for this time.
Sing for me my angel of music
He and Alfie Boe are the best. Either one would have been great in the movie of Les Miserables. I think it was miscast with Hugh Jackman in this part. Grant it Hugh might be better known, but for acting and singing he can't compare to these two greats. Ramin has a sensation voice and has played various parts in Les Miz. He was great as the Phantom as well.
I totally agree!
+Rebecca C He was very arguably the best Phantom ever.
Michael Crawford man
I am so disappointed that I didn't get to see this show while I was in New York City! I went inside the theater, and I was literally in tears, because I desperately wanted to see this man and the rest of the fantastic cast perform! Believe me, Ramin Karimloo has done so much for me in my life (get it?). He's caused my dears, he's dried my tears, he's inspired my singing, and he's inspired my style of playing my Les Miz Alto Saxophone sheet music book. He's truly fantastic.
Mikayla Jacobs I had that exact same moment of being in NYC, going into the theater, and not being able to see him. It was torture to leave the city yesterday without having seen Ramin in Les Mis. They need to make a cast CD while he's still there! He is my favorite singer of all time, undisputed.
People don't understand that this is actually is his full voice, but because he is a tenor/counter tenor. He can't sing the note so effortless, whereas jackman can't. It's harder to hit a high note quietly than just hitting it, which I feel Jackman did... Just hit the note with all he had. Nevertheless, jackmans overall performance was brilliant and the show wouldn't of become a film without him. Yes he may not be the right range for the role, but at least he sang and give it some justice... You're forgetting some film musicals have actors not singing at all, like the actress that played Maria from west side. And how many oscars did that win again?
it's like he is dancing on the music. he is fantastic !!
how does Ramin sing like this before the rest of us have even had breakfast 😊
Can he get any more beautiful.. his voice.. his face.. I could watch and listen to him all day
What an amazing voice.
What a beautiful performance. He brought me to tears when I saw him in the Toronto production.
What an amazing voice and he is so frickin gorgeous! What a dream boat!
What a gorgeous voice - not at all bad on the eyes either :)
❤
I really want to see les mis on broadway so bad
The only man apart from Colm Wilkinson to do this song the justice it deserves. I like Alfie Boe, but this song needs the softer tone
That voice...! He's a really great actor in the UK show Holby City x
Awesome actor, awesome singer. From Phantom to Valjean he is ever amazing.
As St Joseph he acted naturally. As a fellow actor / singer Ramin is force to watch and to listen to. Idol of actors, he is
why are you talking like yoda?
Every single time I hear his voice...I fall in love. Just wow! He's amazing.
Florayde Ken Bernardez have the same felling
Wasted in holby city they killed him off well come on with your voice you will go far bless you absolutely beautiful voice just love it xxx
Ramin Karimloo is amazing, he is a superstar of the musical/broadway world.
phantom👑
I really like Ramin's voice for this song. This is the first time I've seen him perform since he did the Phantom of the Opera. I thought that he carried the song superbly despite the fact that I thought that I only liked this song sung by Colm Wilkinson. But, Ramin Karimloo is exceptional in this. He makes singing one of the hardest songs to sing (for men/tenors) look so very easy. Bravo!
I need this man to be in a movie musical, but as a lead please!
Why does he look like Tony Stark? Also, why does this fit for Tony and Peter? Esp at 0:50
Damnit Ramin. Why do you have to be so amazing? You're the only person outside my personal life that has kept my faith in music strong. Thank you!
SO EXCITED TO SEE RAMIN IN LES MIS IN JUNE, so happy he's extended his run!
6 years later, & I’m still gushing. The best.
I've just returned from NYC where I heard Ramin Karimloo's Jean Valjean. Amazing! My fourth time seeing the play, and I must say, Ramin and the Andy Mientus who played Marius. The music is still with me.
