- A demonstration of arms, armour and fighting techniques that would have been used in early 14th century England. The team from 3 Swords show how various types of soldiers were equipped and demonstrate the use of swords, axes and other types of weapons. This was held at the Leeds International Medieval Congress 2022.

Cleaning and maintaining all of this crap must have been a nightmare.
Not really? Keep your helmet and sword oiled and that's pretty much it. Chainmail cleans itself and the gambeson just needs a rinse every now and then to get the sweat smell out.

@@canosuslupus2862 that's right. Early 14th century (1300-1330) English armour looked like this, but swiftly evolved.
