Very cool, looks like the compressor was doing just fine never dropping tank pressure below your spray gun regulated pressure? For a compressor to do that under $200 and stays under 80db is great! The mini bike looks great with Eye Candy Red-Rum! You do awesome work!
Gt I have a harbor freight 8 gallon compressor and would like to paint with it could you please let us know your opinion of them and what your settings are for spraying. Thank you
This might not be the correct video for this question. I would l Iike to understand the accessories you add to your typical compressor when you spray paint. I think you have a filter to catch moisture. I’m not sure of other components. You probably already covered this content. Maybe a link if you have covered that. Thank you. Always find your content very educational.
This was an ultrashift from red to black called "redrum" from eye candy pigments. eyecandypigments.com/products/redrum-ultrashift?variant=46295492034784
Look into the CFM at psi listed on the spray gun you are using example HF HTE Black Widow is 11.7cfm@29psi, if the compressor pump can supply that you do not need a tank but will hear the pump the whole time. Most list CFM@90psi which makes it hard to gauge the CFM@29psi which CFM would increase as psi lowers. From this video the compressor looked to keep up with his spray gun tank pressure never dropping below regulated pressure. Can test by hooking up everything and run your gun full open, if regulated pressure continues while compressor cycles on and off you are good. All depends on the CFM@psi the gun uses or other air tool.
@@SwansonWerks Wow. Thanks for that info. Really educational. My goal is to be able to spray a full size pick up truck ,17' long 7' wide 5' tall box. In 1 continuous spray. Wouldn't want lack of air to be the cause of a bad paint job.
Check out this VEVOR 8 Gal Air Compressor: amzn.to/3YJ5P9S
Was that the eye candy red-black? the minibike looks sick! very nice job.
@WildBillFlysRC yes! It is called "red-rum" I was thinking of doing some effects with urea, but i decided to leave it for another video

You can probably get by on painting a fender or door possibly a hood but that's it. Not bad tho.
Painting a mini bike with a mini air compressor😛
What mask are you wearing, and would you recommend it?

8 gallons is not large enough to paint an entire car though, Right? What is large enough?
