- The version of the boss music that plays when fighting the mocking or scathing whispers. Fortunately it's the same every time (second loop has some SLIGHT variations, but not much). Main boss version is nice, but I wanted the version without the emotional pauses.

Edit: I have received information from one of the composers that the lyrics are actually: "Yara vak uu yara ivbok, shotarat" for one of the lines, so keep in mind the actual transcription is a lot different than how I've written it.

@@Zerooo0o458 I personally think it's just vocables, but would make sense. It's tough to tell with how they're stringing the words together if it's an additional syllable (so Lakka Ohsun) or just a pharyngeal plosive between words (so Lohk[plosive]Ohsun)

This theme: The walls are alive, *and they're coming for you!*
The mans in your flesh and he wants out.
Of note: there's only two voices chanting the voidtongue in this song, one sounding a lot like the elder Albrecht and the other sounding like our younger operator doppelganger (the voice is remarkably similar to the operator Raven and Falcon voices)

i dunno why but this music really add the intensity to the Whispers' fight, especially after the first phase and you're racing to the book to kill them.
I think it's the drums and the distorted vocals. Drums have always been a good conveyor of urgency or purpose (hence why most marches put emphasis on drum beats), and the vocals being these throaty-distorted words that feel impossible to really pay attention to in the moment add an unsettling atmosphere to the encounter. Almost like your blood is pounding in your ears, and the vocals are the encroaching fear/dread as you fight with this void-born doppelganger before chasing after it in an attempt to kill it before it can flee.

I loved it when the suzerain shouted "Let's play jump rope" and sawed everyone in half
I love it when it said ‘floor is lava’ and turned into a tornado in the middle of the room while everyone exploded
Honestly, this is one of my favourite tracks now. I always felt like the music in this game was either really good, or sorta just. There. But I *adore* the chanting vocal in this, good grief.

If you enjoy this type of music, give groups like Heilung a listen! They're maybe a bit more primal in their composition, but they've got the same kind of chanting vocals that gives me goosebumps every time.

I mean the same voice can be heard during Whisper of the Wall quest. We saw wall-e whispered RAP TAP TAP and then whole lab connected to void dimension.
@@KoeSeer That's interesting ! I thought that Rell was just possesed by Wall-e or went batshit insane from containing Wall-e for so long. That was my reasoning for the RAP TAP TAP. But now it makes so much sense ! That's why there are two spirits of Rell. One that was displaying kinds of emotions and the second one that was red and wanted to murder us - that was probably Wall-e.

Ya know, guess with all the creepy hands and whatnot, not even the Infested wanted to get near em.
Leading up to the Tennocon of 2023, there were callers to Nora Night talking about the system
Latrox Une described the infested on Deimos behaving as if they were trying to hide, not glowing as bright and not growing as tall. They felt his presence.
There are some helminth voice lines that confirm the infestation not liking the void. I can’t recall the exact wording of those lines though.

This has to be my favorite soundtrack in Warframe. And probably one of my favorite music in all of gaming.
It's giving me Heilung, Mongolian Throat Singing, and Maori Haka War Cry vibe.
It’s so good. Conveys the unknown of the Murmur so well but tells you this isn’t a ‘mysterious’ thing, this is a *dangerous* thing.
I won't lie. First time I heard this I thought I'd accidentally started playing Heilung in the background. It gives me incredible In Maidjan vibes.|

These new void combat themes really remind me of some of Eluveitie's older albums, which is a win in my book.
i really want the phone/pager ringtone for my phone, the one Albrecht has.
Another dude’s videos has you covered, you can search for Albrecht Entrati’s ringtone here on YT and you’ll find them.

everything about this update is just amazing XD
I find the grimoire rather disappointing. I was hoping for some advanced mechanic where a specific way of inputting shot inputs would let you create different kind of spell, idk like holding Fire 3x for a short duration would create a puddle of corrosive or whatever. Yk something new and innovative, and not just... a book that continuously creates explosive slime or whatever
@@KryptoKn8 i get what ur saying , that would have been a lot more technical work for maybe too much of a niche item ; but fwiw with the incantations/canticles the grimoire has a LOT of build variety , and its very effective vs the hard boss atm during the event

They advertised it as "a new type of secondary" with some sort of gimmick, I went in expecting a reskinned gun, I got a reskinned gun.

The music is always cool in warframe, and my opinion about the lore is that for me this is a different story they try to tell us but i dont understand anything, i miss when something was related to our origins

The fact that the story doesnt tell urself anything and let the people make sens themselves is bad story telling in my opinion, they do an amazing job at making good graphics, why dont they rework the game, add origins of the first warframes like excalibur, volt etc, and remake the graphic of the original storyline, why dont they give us more world expansion than just a storyline quest after 1 years and half, plus i love the warframe storyline updt but that last one was disappointing bc i had no fun killing mobs spamming E without context or anything given to me

The 1999 segment is A nod to Dark Sector. An older game and predecessor to warframe as well as a taste of what is to come.
We are working towards reaching the year 1999 in the next quest.
One doesnt have to set up a mystery and answer it in the same quest.
All will be answered in time.

This remind me of different acapella themes from Crash: Twinsanity when fighting the tiki golem as well as certain themes from later stages, mixed together with the chants from the newer Doom games, making it feel both nostalgic and modern to me, one of the better boss themes in warframe.
Imma cross save today. Need this at full volume and on repeat.

Damn! I really love this ost! It really fit the vibe, especially when fighting with Fragmented One.
At first, I really thought that it's just a regular boss fight with an epic theme. But as I knew about Fragmented One, I realized that I'm overconfident, and too naive. This boss humbled me and its ost creeps me out. Although I'm able to beat it solo, I still scared of it, and its theme. Especially in 0:30 when it play, it give me the vibe like "You really awake this demon, and there's no turning back, and there's no time to regret. The only way to pass this is to fight it until death.

This theme is the very epitome of intimidation, with the throat singing and the ethereal whisper-growling-singing (I dunno whatever else to call it). If there was to be a boss theme greater than Sephiroth, frankly this theme would be it, in my opinion. This has the tension and the fear factor and otherworldly aspect to achieve what it needed, whereas Sephiroth's theme was more brute force.

I didn't, I just recorded the one that plays by default in-game. It's (almost) the same each loop and plays entirely, so I just waited while the whisper railed on me for a few minutes.

You're fighting rotting clones, noodlebeasts, & capitalists for most of the starchart, and the music conveys that well. The music here's fierce & heavy because you're fighting something beyond comprehension & older than stars.
