I use wire wheels from Harbor Freight that debarks slabs or any rough spots

Yeah those wire wheels come in handy - but having taken a number of those wires into my skin like little darts when they fly out - every time i turn that thing on i imagine a ricochet under my safety glasses and wince. lol.
