Lana’s dressed up in the iconic “Happy Birthday Mr President” dress and she sings the song, but throughout the video she’s supposed to be portraying Jackie Kennedy, playing the part of the First Lady and being the perfect housewife, then the ending monologue shows her grief over the assassination. idk i always thought it was really cool. lanas just a girl who’s got her historical hyperfixations. go her.
