  • Join us for a stroll around the prehistoric and enigmatic Clava Cairns!
Predating the Pyramids of Giza, the Clava Cairns are a series of fantastically preserved burial chambers and standing stone circles built during the Bronze Age. The site is tucked away off the beaten track, outside of Inverness, and is an idyllic spot to visit.
Nearby sites to visit are Culloden Battlefield and Inverness.

Visited these cairns couple of weeks ago when I was on holiday in the area. It poured with rain that day and I had the place all to myself. The rain didn’t put me off either. It was amazing to see no matter what the weather. I also stopped by the Culloden Battlefield not far from the Cairns. Another AMAZING place

So glad to hear that you were able to visit and even better to have the whole place to yourself! ☺
