I wasn’t around (or born yet) for the blaze of Cathy, but I feel like she’d fit right in to modern day times. Wonder if they’ll ever bring her back for a quick reboot short series or movie before shelfing her for good 🤔

The cake mix commercial is funny to me because my mom had a Cathy shaped cake pan. It would have been fun to have used that very same cake mix to make a Cathy shaped cake.
Tbh I'm in with others who commented, Cathy definitely needs a comeback at some point The character is interesting and dare i say it, How actually adults act somewhat I'm never gonna understand why comedic tv shows nowadays is so raunchy and un-adult-ish, Cathy just seems like the good example on how an actual "adult" oriented show should be written: Still funny but actually talk about more or less problems adults might have like Love, Work, Feelings, Thoughts And Choices and such as in: Making it relatable but not too over the top to the point it's annoying and over exaggerated (Hard to believe the more you mirror real life, It actually makes an adult show good and relatable with no corporate meddling)

And I constantly watched Charlie Brown and Garfield stuff made by Lee Mendelson Film Productions. So how'd I never hear about her until 2024??
Cathy just sounds odd when she isn’t voiced by Kathleen Wilhoite. I literally just found out that she voiced Cathy in the prime time specials, and now, it’s already the undisputed voice of the character.
