Synopsis: While visiting a pot farm in Northern California in 1993, investigative journalist David Holthouse heard a story that still haunts him: On a nearby farm three men were torn limb from limb in a savage Bigfoot attack. Sasquatch follows David as he revisits the Redwoods 25 years later, in search of evidence that might lead to the truth of what happened that night. As he pulls at the threads of this story he'll be taken down a path that's far more terrifying than anyone would have imagined.

He isn't but DISCOVERY+ have a new series on Bigfoot coming out on December 7th....called ALASKA KLLER BIGFOOT. based in the abandoned settlement of Portlock up in Alaska. Some locals try and go back and they discover the creature is still there and not happy, Ron Morehead was up there for a bit helping them.
Premise of the documentary: My story about Bigfoot ended up being a cover up for a murder, therefore Bigfoot doesn’t exist.
This documentary has nothing to do with bigfoot.
That’s not true. It just doesn’t relate to Bigfoot in the sense that most expect.

The documentary is talking about how people used to sail weed in the mountains.
So we've went from "the devil made me do it" ..to.. "the Sasquatch did it". Interesting.
I thought that was actually the most interesting aspect touched upon in this doc… that Sasquatch is just another scapegoat for the monsters inside us.

Okay I'm back, because i'm still mad at the ending. So, the ending is some random voice that we're supposed to believe is his former employer. The employers implies he and a team of crop growers made up the story and told told people that would go around telling other people. For some reason the person went to his employers house to tell the employer what happened, even though the employer already knew about the plan. But by the guys own words, he said the employer just brushed it off and didn't even talk about it with his employees after the claims of bigfoot killing people. Even if the guy didn't know the employer was in on the plan, wouldn't the employer try to get his employees talking about it so they also spread the rumors?
Nope, that didn't happen and he didn't even question whether or not his "employer" was telling him the truth or not. He admittedly ends the investigation after he gets his cookie cutter ending to stop. He wasn't even convincing that he believed the ending himself.
Lets say Bigfoot really did kill people up there and is still. Obviously these shady people (hells angels, murdering hippies, and cartel) don't want people going up there looking for bigfoot and ruining there secret stashes.
This dude totally used sasquatch as a magnet for views. This doc, while okay at most, is definitely not about sasquatch.

Companies learned fast that they can make a BIG buck off of Bigfoots back.
@Roger Milton hey Roger, hope your well. There are still many amateur field researchers who gather/catalog reports and information on encounters/sightings. Also many of them still conduct searches, but most of all that information has gone "underground" sort of speak.
I hate to put it this way, but there are a lot of kooks who have infiltrated the society so, anyone serious and of sound mind have broke off into small groups, they keep their research to themselves.
The problem with tracking a Sasquatch is they usually find you, you dont find them.
With the exception of Patterson and his 1 in a billion luck of stumbling on one and then filming it. There are only a couple of other instances where there may be a real Sasquatch caught on film.
With its intelligence level and incredible stealth, it's obviously the hardest animal to actually track.
But there are people out there actively looking. Gathering resources to conduct research is another problem.

I dunno mate big foot is not that big of a money maker. This isnt the 70s anymore. You can make more flipping houses or cars. Big foot money is chump change.
@Roger Milton I believe you and what you said about big foot being a rosetta stone of sorts is truely facinating. Can you elaborate on any experiences you might of had or about big foot being the key.

He's pretty good, but I think that he's saying that certain videos show a Sasquatch when I don't think that they do.
That being said, he's good at what he does.
