Ever try a christmas cake shake? Basically a mcflurry, except you stir in chunks of christmas tree cake. Also fruitcake. Fruitcake improves everything.

@@medicbabe2ID If you've been having this problem, it might be because they made the cake mix boxes smaller in the last few years (go 'ol shrinkflation at work!) they're only like 14 oz when they used to be 16oz. My aunt noticed it when all her gooey butter cakes were suddenly turning up burnt. Less cake means it needs less cook time (and the ingredients aren't balanced right anymore) so you have to either buy two boxes and combine part of one back in, add cake flour and powdered sugar to bump the weight back up, or get medium instead of large eggs and cut your cooking time by at least 7 minutes.
For the Christmas tree balls… Totally using pretzel sticks… That way it’s edible, it’ll add a salty bit at the end to go with the sweet but yet kind of cleanse the pallet to prep it for more.
My father used to work at the Arkansas location of Little Debbie before he retired, they used to be able to pick fresh ones right off the line and eat them. I still enjoy their little grocery store they have here locally with nothing but Little Debbie snacks inside for super cheap.

One of the main things I got was cheesecakes. They made several varieties, but I particularly liked the chocolate, pumpkin pie, and orange creamsicle varieties. My former cat liked all of them too, even the orange creamsicle one. Which was a slight surprise given that cats supposedly don’t like citrus that much.

I made a Christmas Tree Cake Trifle last week. Layers of Little Debbie Christmas Tree cakes, vanilla pudding, and strawberries (so that makes it a health food, right?) Repeat layers and top with whipped topping, a red icing drizzle, and green sugar crystals (NOT sprinkles!)

I don't believe they were in the stores that much a few years ago. Every now and then I will go by the Little Debbie section and get a few things, but I have only seen the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes during the past few years. They are overrated in my opinion. I only get them just because they are seasonal, but I actually prefer the zebra cakes over them. My personal favorites are the nutty bars, honey buns, and the star crunch.
If your doctor thinks Lact-Aid or other products would help, it's worth a try! My grandma was lactose intolerant, but she loved her vanilla ice cream with cherry pie, so she would take the tablets on those special dessert occasions. Worked great for her.
Pecan pie cheesecake is perhaps the Mona Lisa of the cheesecake scene. As a true southerner would say, “It was so good that my tongue slapped my brains out!”

PSA, if you have an older recipe (like 3 years or more) that calls for a "box of cake mix" be aware that shrinkflation has messed up the cake mix sizes!! they used to be 16 oz and now their closer to 14 oz, so you either have to buy two boxes and only use part of one or add cake flour and sugar and baking soda to make up the difference. My aunt noticed this when all her gooey butter cakes kept messing up and burning last year!!

I mean…he’s admitted that the north does pizza better than the south. Here’s what I think the trend is (though obviously some dishes will buck the trend). The north does foods better that require higher levels of technique or many different ingredients, as well as foods derived from foods from other cultures. The south specializes in making simplicity taste delicious, sauces, barbecue-style smoking (as opposed to charcuterie-style), and frying just about anything and everything. The main dish I can think of that kind of bucks the trend is Buffalo wings, originating in Buffalo, NY. However, Frank’s Louisiana Hot Sauce is an essential component to make Buffalo wings sauce, and Frank’s is from (or at least based on) the south. So that puts Buffalo wings in an interesting position.
The only way to watch this video is .25 speed. I promise y'aaaaallll, it is worth the extra 45 minutes, every biiiittt of it. I will never be able to watch Matt Mitchell the same now. I love you man.
