Truly amazing, when I studied electronics in the early nineties our teacher showed us that two sign waves make a circle, I asked him if we could do more and he spoke about radar and vector graphics. I remember thinking it would be very hard to manipulate a waveform to do anything interesting. Technology has certainly caught up, thank you for making a 25 year old daydream come true.
oh wow, i love how much more experimental this is. the edm elements of oscilliscope music tended to grow off of me, so to have a dark, noisy remix of some of those tracks and even better sound design fits my taste really well. the visual also have improved drastically. i hope to see an oscilliscope music 2 or something where it's a lot more experimental!
edm elements? this thing is so much more danceable than his prior work
i mean spirals mainly. the first half of oscilliscope music is amazing, spirals kinda grew off of me for personal reasons
@@arando4359 abuse jokes aren't funny
5 years late, you wouldn't believe how popular your work has become in the unruly corners of ham radio.
Imagine being an engineer in the 60's
You were so bored that you made music from an Oscilosope
Well, you’d get enough skill to make this 60 years later on modern techh
This is so cool. It sounds great and I like having it as a fullscreened visualizer
It's really a beauty.
You gotta find the balance between good and... cool image.
A good song, is a mess for this kind of displaying.
Therefore, you gotta mix a something that looks good, AND sounds good at the same time
This is really hard to achieve.
I am mesmerized. It is so great to see sounds like this. INTERSECT popped up in my feed today, not sure why. But this is really fantastic. Math music.
this is normal. return to now.
16:28 is amazing!
Smarter every day send me here and I'm glad it did! Never heard anything about this awesomeness before. Amazing work! Keep it up!👌🏻
Same, so glad he did
This stuff is the greatest thing ever. I hope we can see much of more this over the next years! It always blows my mind
this just broke my brain.
Mine was broken and is now fixed. Peace
Wild and wonderful! 27:10 shape is bliss!
Sounds way better XD. Now with room reverb!
New album when?
In all seriousness, this is awesome. I can't wait for more.
SoonTM!
dude... this is the greatest audio-visual thing ever... dude...
I like your work, especially how you make interesting images and sounds that are pleasant for eye and ear.
Holy fucking shit? So I was watching some animation memes, clicked on the song link and found this channel, then I scrolled through the videos of it, and end up finding something with the city I live in...
I wish I was there, damn
But you can't because you're over two hundred years old
@@codiserville593 That's exactly what I was saying.
You guys have great talent and taste. Thank you so much for sharing this :)
Lines v2.

Great audio visual work. Would like to experience it on something much bigger than my laptop screen :)
15:51 is really good, 25:13 could be the opening of a metal concert

'genesis' *∆*
TRIP- I be there
on a real world oscilloscope?!
I still wanna know about the oscilloscope entrances for Bassnectar at Electric Forest.
What do you want to know about them?
Y'know... When did he reach out to you, and how did you react? Was it fun to make it? That stuff.
Hiya, can I ask what setup you use to project the scope's screen live?
Have you tried doing this with lasers?
Or just enhance an old crt tv
@@emil871w3 i've never seen crt so big it could fill an entire wall of a building. enhanced or not.
did you help design the oscilloscope sets for tame impala?
If I watch enough of these, will I learn to "see" them blind?
You will get a feeling for how the harmonic spectrum correlates to the complexity and some properties of the image, but you probably won't see the exact image. Or maybe I just haven't watched them long enough, idk.
Probably not because your ears perceive music in the frequency domain. This is time domain :)
You have a better chance of "seeing" this one:
ruclips.net/video/wSYAZnQmffg/видео.html
Skip to 5:30 for the relevant bit
Ah ok. I just sometimes wonder whether your work could be applied to assistance for the blind in some way. Anyway, mind-blowing gig. Must have been an intense ride for the live audience.
Some math in case you're into that: ruclips.net/video/3s7h2MHQtxc/видео.html
It's not practical to do this, but thevideo uses transforming visual information into sounds as an example to get to the topic of "space-filling curves" :)
While whe're on the topic: Jerry, what does a Hilbert curve sound like?
17:50 omg
Some oscilloscope dubstep
32:05
Does this count as being the worlds largest oscilloscope?
yes yes music so india
@24:15 aliens
Boring with a side of headache
