I got upgraded to this room for free during my last visit February 2020 😭 I booked the standard Little Mermaid room. Loved this Cars themed family suite! My room was exactly the same just reversed with a lake view 😍
Love the details and how you present your rooms. Being in the DVC, we don't typically stay at some of the places you film, so it is a great way to see the other rooms and resorts. Keep up the great work!

The main bed is quite comfortable. The Murphy bed is really comfortable too. The couch bed is not as comfortable as the others, but the newer mattresses (like in these rooms) are more comfortable than an average couch bed.

2 of the 3 Cars suites have been refurbished, so your odds are really good. The other won’t be done for a few more months, so there’s still a slight chance you could get an old room, but definitely request a refurbished one when you check in.
Unfortunately this isn’t accurate. We spoke to a manager today at Art of Animation. The Lion King suite is still being worked on, and an entire building for the Cars suite will not be done for a few more months. Most of the family suites are finished, but they are not all complete at this time.
Where are the pillows and blankets kept for the pull out/Murphy beds? I’m really concerned about the lack of storage and no closet.... family of 4 for 10 days....
The beds are already made up with sheets, but the pillows and blankets are in the living room area at 5:36. For a family of 4 there should be plenty of room :)
Thank you for the excellent video. We are planning a first time trip to Disney World in November 2020. Is it still a good idea to stay at this resort if the Big Blue Pool is closed for refurbishment? We have two boys ages 9 and 12. Thanks.
We think so 😊 The Cars quiet pool is still nice and well themed. The quiet pools will most likely be more crowded than normal due to the main pool not being available, but the smaller pools are still fun for everyone and have lots to do. Normally the main pools have activities too, so most likely they’ll move those to one or more of the smaller pools, so we doubt you’ll miss out on any of those.
The furniture does largely looks the same. Except the dressers and nightstands which have new tops. But it's much more than just the flooring. These are the ones we noticed: - Fresh paint that is a different color, plus an accent wall in the living romo ad bedroom - USBs in the wall outlet by the murphy bed, and in the dressers in both rooms - Large screen TVs - Under-the-bed storage in the bedroom - New lamps in the bedroom with USBs in the base - All counters/dressers have been resurfaced so everything looks brand new again - Switched to refillable amenities in the showers (every resort is working that direction) - New mattresses (the bedroom one is MUCH nicer now)
