This doesn't show that potential at all. The mens was still dominated by the US and the only reason they aren't with the women is because women in the US hardly play it at all. THe womens event will be a far more even playing field because of that.

You aren't getting anywhere near the level of talent in the US for flag football that you are getting in every other country, especially countries where rugby is a big deal. The men, on the other hand, can still put on a high quality team with all the talent left over that never make the NFL over even division one college. I can guarantee you the US women do not think the gold should be just handed to them in any way
