Say what you will about this format but the players looked like they enjoyed it, I didnt have to buy a ticket and a flight to find it entertaining, and it was nice to see these titans of men kick back to the basics of this grueling but child-like sport.
I think a lot of people don’t understand that the Pro Bowl isn’t just for the fans, it’s also for the players to have fun and bond with each other after a gruelling and intense season. The players genuinely enjoyed it and had a bunch of fun and I found it really fun and entertaining. The people who hate on the Pro Bowl for being lame and soft are the same people who hate having fun and want everything to be serious and about what they want. The players don’t wanna get injured and want to play for fun but some people just don’t get it.
I think it'd be cool if they eventually added in some recently retired players or older players that can still play like Brady, Gronk, Big Ben, or T.O. 🤷♂
Makes sense. All the team owners and coaches were probably shaking in their boots in past pro bowls praying their players didn't pick up injuries. My favorite part about this is how much fun it looks like everyone is having, helmets off, you get their full personalities
4:01 really shows the difference between the old era of football and new era of football and how much the game has changed to where the qb is able to instead of taking that wide open check down with Tyreek on the bottom of the screen (Manning's decision) versus the ability of using their legs to elude pressure to make that throw (Stroud's decision)
Stroud had the highest accuracy % and completed the most difflcult passes with ease in the college QB combine. I was very surpise Bryce Young and Richardson got drafted before him.
Man, gotta give it too these guys, brings me joy too see these great athletes come together and have a great time and put on for there fans, the pro bowl is slowly going back too what it used too be as far as competition
I do appreciate the AFC rockin the team specific "jerseys" like the old days. I miss when the players got to wear their own team jersey in the All-star games
