Let's not even speculate how they opened a locked train door to get out. Such a shit film.
I think he punched it then they all got asked to leave the train at the next stop for doing it when there wasn't an emergency. He didn't want the train to run right the way through to the last stop because they'd be expecting it, so he did it in anticipation that they'd get threw off and could then use the element of surprise. It didn't show you the whole train journey because that would be boring, but that's what I think basically happened.
