They look a good bit of kit. Have to say that I have been mega impressed with the SW Motech kit I have and have had in the past, great quality and tough as nails!
They are great. And I only lost one when I didn’t click it properly, off-roading and it bounced off. Still looks unharmed! I have a tank bag too, it’s brilliant. Now waiting for the tool box. Oh dear, I see a habit forming 😂
Nice video and those panniers look great on the bike. That is just one of the things I love about the SW Motech SysBag panniers - they look good as well and seem to match the bike. One comment on the attachment of the steel adapter plate - I believe the top of the plate is supposed to go under the elastic straps at the top of the pannier. That would provide extra support against any tendency of the top to tip outwards. 🙂

Got the mid-sized version on order for my wife's new Trident 660, so I really appreciate seeing how the brackets are actually mounted. My wife rides to work come rain or shine, so the panniers being waterproof is very important to her. Is there any way to secure or lock the panniers so that they won't get nicked?
That’s great to hear, your wife is one cool lady 💪🏼 The little red loops on the panniers are a security feature. You can buy stainless steel cables with a lock that you feed through the red loops to keep the bag closed and loop through the brackets so they’re not easy to run off with.
SWMotech do good kit - I fitted their panniers to my Tiger 900 and they were great. By the way, ending with 'I have to take my clothes off...' probably had some folk wondering if they'd strayed onto a bizarre OF channel that spiced up motorcycle maintenance!! 😂😮

You can buy them without the plate that offers the quick release, yes 👍🏼
