Well, look, I'll tell you more. In beta of MH Wilds on ultra settings, both performed even better than my 4070 LOL. Recently, during Black Friday, I saw many people I know changing GPUs, and I had the chance to see how the 4000 series has evolved over time. I can tell you that things are very different compared to the benchmarks from two years ago. After seeing it multiple times on various configurations, I can say it's an excellent card. Since you make these kinds of advice videos, I just wanted to point out that things are very different compared to when the tests were done, that's all. (It's quite funny that you, without seeing how the cards perform, come to tell people who have seen them recently and more than once, 'No, look, the benchmarks from two years ago say this, lol'). Anyway, I don't know if you have an RTX 4000 or if you get to try how the drivers, Windows versions, etc., perform, but NVIDIA had a lot of driver issues this year that they managed to fix just in the last two releases..( I recommend you check out the Steam survey that recently appeared magically, there's a GPU that's performing exceptionally well now and climbing the rankings. To be honest, at the moment, the only GPUs you see selling are the 4060 and 4060 Ti, and a few B580s, because the rest are coming out soon. The mid-range will still be this for quite some time, lol.)

I'm still using an 8GB RX480 on 1080p and am still able to play all of my games at 60+fps. Given I play older titles (dayz, skyrime SE, CS, borderlands etc...). Never could justify the cost of upgrading when prices skyrocketed and performance gains diminished. The intel B580 has me interested again though. Going to wait and see what AMD has to offer in 2025 before pulling the trigger. If they don't offer anything affordable, I will be buying used so I appreciate your break-down.
Useful video, I liked it 👍 but I would also add about mutant video cards (on mobile chips RTX 3060m, 3070m) - they are not worth buying, because there may be problems with them too.

A few months ago, I got a 7900 GRE and a 7800X3D, and it's been working great so far. Given how much I game, it’s actually more than enough, but I’m such a graphics enthusiast that I’m still tempted to upgrade. The problem is, I can’t afford the outrageous price of a 4090, so I’m looking at the 7900 XTX, which offers performance comparable to a 4080 Super. However, everyone around me keeps saying it’s not worth it, and I think I should wait for the 8000 series instead. Does anyone have thoughts or advice on this? Also, do you think there will be an 8900 XTX or something similar, and how much do you think it will cost?
@somebody4763, I think best to wait for the AMD new gpu's, cause it's literally only few weeks from being unveiled. Plus their, Rx9080 or whatever they name it supposed to have better ray tracing performance along being more power efficient. Rumors are that this card will be better or similar in performance of the 4080Super. If they price it around £700 or something, that's like getting a 4080 Super for £300 cheaper. Considering the fact all the nvidia 50 series cards specially 5070 & up are going to be eye watering expensive.
I'll be skipping this gen on my 4090. The anticipated price of the 5090 and the missing high-end models from AMD this incoming generation give me nothing to feel excited about. I bought my 4090 Asus TUF OC for 1800 Euros two years ago. The same 4090 model is now sold new at around 2599Euros here in Germany. It's honestly crazy. The 5090, in all likelihood, will be even worse. I am fine for the next 2+ years on a 4090/7950x3D combo, hopefully, in two or so years AMD will finally compete at the enthusiast level again. If their next high-end card is at least 35 percent faster in Rasta and RT/Pathtracing than my 4090 with 28 gigs of Vram or more, I might switch to AMD in 2 or 3 years. Hopefully FSR will look better by then. Currently, FSR still looks ridiculously bad in side by side comparison with DLSS version 3.8.10. On 4K balanced, DLSS 3.8.10 (the newest version to date)it looks almost indistinguishable from playing at native 4K. Unfortuanetley, you can't nearly say the same thing about FSR.

Doing just fine with a laptop RTX 4080 12GB, slightly above the standard desktop 4070. No issues at 1440p, max settings and even 4K on mid-high settings. Full pathtracing in FPS games may be an issue. The thing is that the entire PC came at little above the price of a desktop 4090 card alone. Last black Friday, you could even get a laptop with 4090, for under $2400, which is slightly above desktop 4080, but a full PC with all-included. That's what I call price/performance win. Laptop gaming is the future and APUs will eventually catch up with the low-mid range. You DIY people are wasting a fortune just on a graphics card. Suppose it's more fun in a way, but also extremely impractical. I can't sell and replace my GPU, but I can sell the entire laptop for a decent sum and buy a new one. Look, the upcoming 5090 mobile card will probably be able to handle anything you throw at it, in 4K, 3-4 screens and all in one neat laptop. Yes, these first version will cost a fortune, but a few years down the line, the GPU race will go the way of the smartphones. You will stop caring if the camera can zoom 50 or 100 times, since 95% of all users will not be able to tell the difference. There is an unbreakable glass ceiling there and it is close. The enthusiast DIY desktops will keep a 20% market share tops, but the rest will be mobile in one way or the other.
I have a 6700XT and it's a excellent card for 1440p gaming. But if I were you I'd step up next generation or wait until AMD releases their new GPUs in January.
The 5700x3D is a good enough CPU for even an RX 7900XT or RTX 4070 Ti super so go with the RX6800 as your cpu can max it out easily even at 1080p or you can wait and see what next gen offers as you may be able to get a better deal.
And all 8gb vram gpus are not recommended anymore because modern games like indiana Jones needs more than 8gb vram to play on max settings. Ofcorse you can play with 8gb like rx 6600 but you won't be awaible to play with fsr because the game uses vulkan and fsr 3.1 support vulkan but it's not added into the game yet. Even 12 gb is not enough eather. 16 gb is recommended nowadays.
Yes we are only 2 weeks away so its best to wait and see what next gen has to offer and odds are you can get an even better deal on current gen when next gen drops.
As long as you are playing on 1080p you can always lower the settings and use medium or low textures and you should be able to play games just fine with some help from upscaling.
From what I have researched these cards excel in newer titles. Not sure why that is or if it will get fixed with driver updates but seems to be a thing with Intel GPU's at the moment.
I have the TUF Gaming RX7600XT OC 16GB, and I honestly have no complaints... my PSU it´s a different story... The TUF Gaming 850W Gold in some Games the fan of the PSU it´t too loud, I almost had a heart attack first time I heard it, I had a 650W PSU not branded that peak was 700W and the fan was not as loud under full load vs that Tuf gaming PSU damn... but I did neded a new PSU to be able to support that new GPU, I had a Gigabyte 1660 Dual fan OC 6GB (it wasn´t the TI, nor the SUper version. That one was released in 2019) So bottom line, be happy with the GPU you have chosen, same as the components, you chose them for a reason... Edit: I can Run most Games including AAA games above 100/120 FPS... so I´m super hapy about that, all you need to do it´s adjusting the settings in the Adrenaline app from AMD... which I did by watching around 5/6 videos and then just seeing what was the best settings to be able to run games with Fluid motion frames and other things, the only thing you cannot combine it´s Raedon Chill but everything else... you can...

Pretty good deal. If this is an upgrade from a 10 series card or below or an Rx 580 or below I’d hop on it. If you don’t have a gpu at all then it’s a definite buy. You’ll be happy with the performance and it should set you straight for low end 1440p gaming for the next 3-4 years and if you’re gaming in 1080p then that’s even better.

A week ago i got a 3080 Msi Gaming trio for 350 Euros(i had a 1080ti HOF), it`s also a LHR version, so no mining on it, replaced pads and thermal paste, 55 degree at 100 % usage. Gotta know what you buy. I`ll stick witn 3080 for another year now, since the performance of 40 and 50 series are a big leap from 30 series
If they don't offer anything affordable, I will be buying used so I appreciate your break-down.
last week I bought asus 4080 super for 850 euros. I don't think I could have found a better deal
Yes, it's really very profitable.😮
Damn bro, I can t find a 4080 super under 1200€ in my country 😂
I got it for $1050 CAD on prime days. That's actually really good and it was a PTY card new in box. :)
Useful video, I liked it 👍 but I would also add about mutant video cards (on mobile chips RTX 3060m, 3070m) - they are not worth buying, because there may be problems with them too.
Yes, thanks for the addition!
3 fans AMD gpu ONLY with 10 GB or more everthing below is a waste of money on needed upgrades to come 😮
For the next 5 year 7500f + 7800xt for playing in 1080p up to 1440p. if needed upgrade the cpu.
3 week ago buy a mint MSI RX 5700 mech (2020) from FB market seller for under 100 USD. Huge upgrade from gtx 1050 ti.
Congratulations on your purchase!👍
I always buy with PayPal on eBay for used video cards , recently I got scam on a GPU and PayPal back me up my money 💪🏼
Also never family and friends payment. My sister got scammed several times. Yes. I said several.
just pay cash on delivery, who tf paypals
I'm building my first PC. Should i buy a 7900xt at 700 euros? Or should i wait for new GPUs?
wait for the new cards as they are being announced today and odds are you can get the 7900xt at a lower price soon
Rocking 6900XT for quite some time already. Nothing really interresting to upgrade to. Thinking about getting RTX 5080 next year.
the 6900XT is still a beast 4 years later, odds are it still has 3 more years of performance left in it but the 5080 could give you 4 to 6 years worth of performance for better higher res gaming.
Snagged a vega 64 off of CeX (popular 2nd hand market here in the uk) for £105 before watching this, is there anything I can do to alleviate the thermal issues
What about if 8 have 192 bit card and looking to buy q newrr catd but its a 128bit card
This year i went from a 1650 gddr6 to a 3050 8gb and for the games i play is enough i also got it for 130$ brand new from someone i know and i also have 2 years warranity on it until summer 2026 so id say i got a good deal instead of me taking risks on the used market im happy with it plus now i have dlss and rtx to play with so its good :)
With a intel i7-10700f and nvidia 1660 super what should upgrade? Should upgrade both or only GPU or CPU, i only play cs2 im semi professional player
those are good specs for cs, ur fine
I've swooped up a Gigabyte rtx 3090 for 600$ and a aorus x elite rtx 3090 for 650$ both off the local fb market
Why do you need 2 of them at once?
2 computers
What do ypu think is the best option for me my budget is about 300$
Brand new Intel Arc B580
Just got myself an RX6600 new for $180. Not bad. Really love it. Hopefully I won't have to upgrade for at least 5-6 years.
I got the rx6600 a couple of months ago for ard usd175.. It was great for my 1440p 60hz monitor... Then i went and bought a 1440p 180hz 27inch monitor and thr rx6600 doesn't cut it already esp with my dual monitor set up... So i bought the 7800xt on nye😂 not bothered about the upcoming 9000 series cards.
just got a desktop off of marketplace for 500: rx5700xt ultra, ryzen 5 5600x, 32gb ram. i think i got a steal ngl
That's an incredible deal for sure.
dont buy graphic card just go out of u r home and play football . wtf man
Lol, I agree Basically go outside and touch grass instead of buying a GPU.
Why are you not playing football and instead commenting on this video?
@@fatrat92 because he bought a gpu and thinks that "touch grass" is a cool thing to say. I go outside and holy shit, we can die from heat stroke out there, it's like 30 degrees outside where i live.
What do you think this is? XX century?
Get real
@@sjgaming5472 😂
just ordered used rx5600xt online for 107$ (9000inr) .
From where ?
@KattarAthiest zoukart
I wouldn't buy any GPU in the next week until the 4090 start to drop. Otherwise I have to buy AMD again.
I can't decide which one to get. Used 6700xt around $225 or used 6800 around $335. My cpu is 5700x3d
Developers act like we all can break the bank just to play their games
I have the rx 7700xt paired with a ryzen 5 5600x 32gb of 3200mhz ram and a 1 tb nvme
That's a great setup!
I think Polaris gpus are worth it for ultra tight budget. Also i saw a 980ti for 50$. Do you think it's worth it
For 50 bucks a 980ti is pretty solid in my opinion.
My best choice now is B580. but I'll wait for the RTX5000 and RX8000 series to come out first before I make the final decision.
Yes we are only 2 weeks away so its best to wait and see what next gen has to offer and odds are you can get an even better deal on current gen when next gen drops.
I cannot afford newest gpu I only have RX 6600 im scared because i cannot play AAA games
As long as you are playing on 1080p you can always lower the settings and use medium or low textures and you should be able to play games just fine with some help from upscaling.
I experienced problems running 5+ old games with Intel B580...
What games are these?
Edit:
I can Run most Games including AAA games above 100/120 FPS... so I´m super hapy about that, all you need to do it´s adjusting the settings in the Adrenaline app from AMD... which I did by watching around 5/6 videos and then just seeing what was the best settings to be able to run games with Fluid motion frames and other things, the only thing you cannot combine it´s Raedon Chill but everything else... you can...
Dude that PSU is overkill. I have a 10900k with a 6800xt on an EVGA Nova 850w PSU.
@@LastExile1989 I tendo to overclock things such as ram, my monitor, the CPU can be slighty OC to have it at top ghz supported, and GPU tweaking, so that´s why... I actually do use almost around 700/750 W or so... but yeah I preffer having that PSU since I do tend to upgrade to an i7 with integrated graphics one day a K version without doing OC since full OC can only be made a Z mobo
What background Song is that?
I’m still rocking the rtx 2070
leave me alone i already got rx570 8gb armor oc... i went from gt240
I went from an 2010 laptop with an ancient intel i3 and 4gb of ddr3 to
Rtx 3050 (6gb) and ryzen 5 3600.
I don't care how much people say it's bad I can finally play all games past 2010, It was 20$ more expensive than a 1650 and in my country i have no other options and rtx 3060 was too far away from my budget.

On a 4070 Super… thinking 5080 TI in my future.
They won't make a Ti of the 5080, they left such a large gap between that and the 5090 for a reason.
@ I thought 5080 and 5080 TI was already confirmed.
i bought visiontek rx5700xt for 70 bucks :D
🏆💪🏾
That is an incredible deal, for 70$ the 5700xt is going to give you RTX 2070 levels of performance so its totally worth it for the price.
Best budget card is easy choise gtx 1060 6gb!
A good low end card if you manage your expectations
Me who owns both cards in the thumbnail
Get a 7800 xt and you'll be more than happy.
eBay is the worst, I've literally gotten only 1 piece of working tech from that job. Hungarians and Chinese are best, Japanese and Austrians are the worst on there in my experience. At least the Austrians gave me a refund though.
I got Rtx 3050 w 60$ discount I'm freaking happy bec i was gonna buy 1650💀
Okay that is a better choice for sure and should offer nearly 50% more performance and the 3050 can make use of dlss so its a better upgrade compared to the 1650
Big shout out to the 3070ti gang!
Should I buy rx 6700 10gb for 180$
Plz reply fast any experience Bro
Pretty good deal. If this is an upgrade from a 10 series card or below or an Rx 580 or below I’d hop on it. If you’re rocking like a 5600xt or a 20 series card I would save up and hold off for a couple of weeks to take advantage of the sales we’ll see when the next gen drops. If you don’t have a gpu at all then it’s a definite buy. You’ll be happy with the performance and it should set you straight for low end 1440p gaming for the next 3-4 years and if you’re gaming in 1080p then that’s even better.
@GeedorahGaming currently on gtx 1650
Thnx for reply 😸
Honestly with how bad AMD is with driver support. I wouldn't be surprised at this point if the gtx900 will be supported longer than RX5000. I hope I'm wrong, but AMD is just so terrible with supporting drivers for a long time.
2080Ti beats the RTX 4060
Yes, that's true. The only issue is energy consumption. The 2080 Ti has 2 times higher power consumption
@livegamesii 250W max thats not a problem, 4080 Super has 300W, the new 5080 will draw 400W.
Don't recommend the 20 series as all of them have early generation gddr6 memory which is known to degrading really fast.
source ?
@@da3sii Peoples posts about 20 series degrading really really fast. Only the 2080 TI, 2080, 2070 and 2060 affected. The super variants are better in that regard.
@@kazuviking damn glad i bought 2060 super
@@kazuviking I didnt have issues with my 2070 and i overclocked the VRAM on it. I used it for about a year and then gave it to my brother who used it for half a year. Thats how the 2070 ended up in his friends computer.
The only thing i will say is the 2070 ran a little hot but it was an MSI armor card so it didnt have the best cooling. I did gain around 9-10% performance from overclocking it though, so it was quite a capable overclocker. I will also add that i bought it used
So basically, don't buy anything
u forgot rtx 2060 super
rtx 4060 is destroying amd nd intel in terms of 3d rendering even it has 8gb vram, i had amd 16 gb nd it sucks like so much, nd if we compare it to gaming it's pretty similar or even higher like 10-15 fps, wut card can do both on same price of rtx 4060?

AMD gpu has bad drivers, don't take the risk, go Nvidia
That used to be the case years ago but AMD has greatly improved over the years and Nvidia also has driver issues so it doesn't necessarily mean you will be 100% safe from driver issues if you choose Nvidia over AMD as it could go either way, Just go with whatever card offers you most value for the price of what you find to be acceptable performance.
I am using both an nvidia and amd card. I can definitely say that nvidia actually has more driver issues than amd nowadays. You should be stuck in 2020 or something...
AMD chipset and gfx drivers have never caused me any issues in the eight years I've used them nvidia however killed my gfx card with their drivers but it was what made me switch to AMD so every cloud and all that.
@livegamesii amd driver had the issue if you check the factory reset option it would wipe your boot drive, and anti lag+ caused people to the banned from CS2
@@gejamugamlatsoomanam7716 when did amd's drivers have that issue ? I have routinely used the reset function over the last eight years and never had that issue.
