Gotta disagree with you there. My 2nd hand 3080 blows thr 4060ti out of the water and i got it for just 300$

the 4gb really holds it back still to this day. Such a forward-looking project, the very essence of ageing like fine wine. by the way, if you try running DX12 games with VKD3D (on linux or windows) you might see better compatibility and performance. The technology is quite mature (usually costs less than 5% for non-broken titles) and is getting more relevant for playing old games on new GPUs or new games on old GPUs.

Reasons i chose the graphics card i got. 1 was price, 2 who made it i wanted quality not cheaply made, 3 fast free shipping, 4 it will play the latest games even though i probably won't play the latest for several years yet, and 5 i didn't "need" a high end card since i don't use 4k and never plan on using it ever... my eyes isn't what it use to be anyways so why bother above 2k?... I wanted good enough without a bank loan.

you forgot one thing some RTX4060's are actually amazing FPS/EURO even at 8gb vram the Latancies and the Overclock of the chips. i mean damn it breaks 3000mhz withouth breking a sweat and thats the GPU the memory with low latancies and high freqiencies and if you have a 4gb card red or green lying around, and you have enough lanes avail, stick it in might seems akwards but depending on the microcodes and electronics there's a chance some ram might get shared but i havent had many succesfull tets. im running an 14600k with a dual tower cooler with 7/(14)) heatpipes gelid solution phantom black 14. with arctic p14 fans 4000 pm the gpu is also dualreaches similar speeds so all other fan do, yeah, its not meant to be silent btw its far more silent than what i ever had running 1 fan a delta

I disagree as have used both, they work. NVIDIA or AMD is good to go. I went with buying a older flagship (4070 super ti w/16gb) as it will do what I need to do. The price difference is almost double on a build if you buy best of the best. VRAM is king, the more the better. No less than 16gb or VRAM. As for overpaying for a gpu, dont be surprised to see "out of stock" a lot. Dont settle get what will last at least two years. Something not mentioned is your pc is limited to your slowest choice. Memory, cpu, gpu, and motherboard all have limits.

okay rtx 4060 vs 6700xt was a bohus comparison. 4060 is a 1080p, it can run every single demanding game on 60+fps 1080p on the max settings. plus there are certain benefits of an Nvidia card that every single creator uses but they dont even consider mentioning it. rx 6700 xt has been discontinued in my country and i dont like buyingy first gpu as a used one, its easier to be scammed that way. Anyways, this guy doesnt even know that rtx 4060 is a 1080p solid card for this gen and I think you shouldnt take anything from this whole video, a lot lf wrong takes

In my country 6700xt cost more than 4060 by 50-100$. Rx 7700xt cost more nearly 150$. So 4060 is my choice. I can buy rx7600xt for same price but its trash imo

People are very ignorant... it all depends on the games you're going to play, me, my future graphics will be a 4060 (I have a gtx 1660 super), I don't usually play heavy games, and I only play in 1080p at 144 hz because 4k monitors are huge and I don't like it... for me a 4060 is enough and consumes little, it's the PERFECT card for me.

you got one thing VERY WRONG. IF you are on a budget older flagships ARE better options in some use cases. if you want to play newer games, that require RT cores, new architecture faster/more VRAM, DLSS and upscaliong, then yes a used new mid range card is a better option but you can get a 1080Ti for like 170 bucks and if you're only gonna be playing rasterized games (like esports), older games or games that arent using mesh rendering (I.E super specific graphically intensive games) and don't see yourself playing those type of games for the next 3 years. then a older flagship is definitely for you, it'll save you money that you can then save up for a new flagship when you actually want to play those graphically demanding games not to mention that a 1080TI can still play graphically demanding games on low setting with medium atni alising quality.

Buying a graphics card as much as a second-hand car is a vice like drinking or cigarettes! I don't recommend buying expensive graphics cards year after year for some games specially created to empty your pocket!
