Always loved this part. Too bad it didn't get played very often. Brit Floyd has played it live and they did a good job as always. I heard one of the other cover bands play it and they sounded good as well.
Was played only between 1974 and 1977 live by the band. On the 1977 Tour, Snowy White did the solo to go into Part 7 and then Part 8 was the guitar solo duel between Gilmour and White especially on the US leg where they each did solos and trade leads. Part 9 turned into the band leads. Roger played this in full in 2002 with Chester Kamen playing the steel guitar with bottleneck and did his Duana Allman/Rod Price imitation and Harry Waters played Rick's parts brilliantly. David played Parts 6-7 in 2001/02.
