As a proud Irish American, it gives me great pleasure to see and to connect with my long-lost brothers and sisters from the olde sod as we would say.. As a youngster, which was a long time ago, I didn’t hear Americans speak highly of the Irish when I came to culture, just the incessant jokes about drinking etc. Well, in my seventh decade I believe Ireland has surpassed America in culture among your youth. I wish my Antrim born grandmother could see you now.
