  • Second leading cause for the Death Wobble on a Jeep or a solid axle truck. First, we look at the Trackbar, then of course, the Balljoints.
If you have oversized tires and/or offroad your Jeep like I do, you will go through a couple of sets of balljoints in less than 50k miles.
I went with the older design Synergy and the lower ones did not hold well. Synergy reached out and sent me their very new HD designed ones with adjustable lower Balljoints. Thank you Synergy!
If you are looking to setup your JKUR with a new suspension, suspension components, bumpers, lights... or whatever you need, please reach out to me and I will get you taken care of. Ask for Kiffany.

I took out the hub assembly and axle shaft together in one piece. Works either way, just one less step on each side. Good vid.

Yep. Hub does not need to be removed. Just the three unit bearing bolts.

Great job explaining and calling out the time consuming steps. This really helps us in allowing the appropriate time required.

Why does everyone take the hub off the axle shaft? Just pull the whole thing out together.

This is one of the best videos on this! Where did you find the tapered cup to press in the top ball joint?

I just did the same thing this weekend and got the ring stuck and need to get it removed so am also wondering how to do it.

I have a question. Do you have to have a tapered cup to install the ball joints. I ordered a ball joint service kit from ebay and I don't see a tapered cup in it.the kit says it is for 2wd and 4wd so I didn't know if it wi work or not.

Get the 4wd adapter set. It can be done without the tapered adapter but it's easier with it. The last thing you want is to Cock your new ball joint and ruin it.
