Believe it or not, I too found the X board game at a Goodwill here in Florida. I had it listed for about 3 months for $100. No action. I ended up donating it to a local teacher for their class. Super unique piece
That office chair reminded me that I was dumpster diving for boxes and bubble wrap behind a big box store a few years ago and found two new-in-box executive desk chairs IN the dumpster. (MSRP was about $280 each.) I wrestled the boxes out of that dumpster (no easy feat) and saw that each box had gotten a hole punched in it during shipping. The store manager had apparently just marked them out of stock and discarded them. My husband couldn't believe it when I came home (a bit disheveled) with them, but he put them together and they were both perfectly good. I sold one for $100, we are still using the other one.
