I'm actually biased towards resolve, but points that you mentioned in this video are really valid n much needed in resolve.

@@pramodkanaki3507 yeah I love resolve, still there’s room to improve. Been loving using the speed editor, next I might just get the micro panel
The one thing you can’t beat about resolve….. the one off cost

@filmmakerevolution oh nice!! If you get an extra key for resolve with micro panel, then remember I there. (I'm just kidding, btw😂)

@ yeah it’s so great they basically give away resolve studio with every purchase of a product hey 😃

All those reasons but dude you're missing a big one! I like to resolve, but for the one fact you can't render from into out is just the worst thing for me. I don't want to render a video on top. I just wanna have smooth playback and there's no such way right now and resolved to do that. Premier pro you just put your out points and then select some render selection so much easier.

@@CharlesAndrulis how do you mean ? You can just render sections by marking in and out points ? Maybe I’ve misunderstood your meaning ?

@@filmmakerevolution You can render in and out point in Premier. I am saying the 6th reason you should stay with Premier over Resolve is you CANT do that in Resolve for some reason :(

@ if you set in and out points as normal in the timeline with i & o then go to the render tab & there’s a drop down menu on the top of the timeline that lets you choose entire timeline or in and out range, choose in and out range and then add to render queue and it’ll render just that part of the timeline

@@filmmakerevolution Sorry I dont mean render as in exporting. I mean like render that section because playback is so laggy because you have some effects on the clip. In premier you can render the timeline to have smooth playback. Resolve only has render in place and it makes a weird clip on top of that one.

@@CharlesAndrulis oh yeah fair one, I have a pretty legit system in both my PC and M3 max so I've not really had much of an issue when editing but yeah thats annoying it doesnt let you do that. I do kinda find though that unless its heavy noise reduction or super scaling of clips Resolve generally doesn't get bogged down by effects etc and seems to handle them better. But it would be nice to have that render in place like Premiere Pro has .
