In this Minecraft Bedrock 1.21+ tutorial, I'll show you how to build the BEST & EASIEST MOB farm that will provide you with plenty of resources. I'll walk you through each step of the construction process, including the ideal location, spawning platforms, and collection system. You'll be able to gather an abundance of GUNPOWDER, BONES, STRING, REDSTONE, GLOWSTONE, IRON, TOOLS & ARMOR with this incredible farm design.

How many drops an hour
For anyone who is making this farm, I built it with 7 layers and got barely any spawns. I then noticed that I was probably too close to the spawning platforms near where the trident killer is. I made a platform about 20 blocks down and this thing is spawning an insane amount of mobs. Hope this helps

It’s a item not an exp farm if you want xp, built yourself an xp farm
No, it’s a XP and ITEM farm. Just replace one of the glass block on top of the piston (with the lever) with a top slab. Stand close to the slab to allow XP to flow towards you.

Worked great on 1.21! Lots of items and loot, plus easy-to-build. I just struggled with the strings for the scaffoldings, but a spider spawner and lots of cobwebs on a mineshaft got it for me

You can substitute the smooth stone for any solid block!

So I just made a farm but need to make a video on it. Did you want me to show you so you can make it and a video on it too? It’s extremely fast XP but I’m gonna make all items go to lava to reduce lag as leaving it afk got 352 levels and stopped due to console being on rest mode so could be much higher possibly. No idea how long or what time it turned off sadly.

We were short on arrows and gunpowder, built this farm in me and my friend SMP and they said it was a doomsday device💀💀. But all n all this farm is beast

Hello! You don't need to build the entire farm for it to work; a single layer will suffice. Make sure you're playing on Minecraft Bedrock Edition (this will not work in Java) and have built the farm at least 100 blocks away from the highest block in the area. If not, spawn-proof the caves and surface blocks within a 48-block radius of the farm center. If mobs still don't spawn, your mob cap might be taken by other mobs. Switch your game mode to Peaceful, wait 5 seconds, then switch it back to Hard.

You need to increase your simulation distance in order to build more layers

Trident killers and looting 3 has not been altered in any way in 1.21
Because i have a 100 by 100 sponeproof hole can i just put the simulation distance to 8 and make it bigger? And also i want to make it 4 times will it work? and if u can tell me how many layers should i do for that
building more layers wouldn't improve the rate coz you would already be maxing the mobile cap with 13 layers of spawnable platforms. so more than 13 will also give you same amount of drops as a 13 layer
I started to build this, made 3 layers so far, but no spawns so far, shouldn't it start spawning a fem mobs already?
Yes, but you need to build a roof over the farm for the farm to start spawning mobs in the day time.

Does the farm still work if you create 3 other farms in the other cardinal directions or can it only be one farm?

i built this the platform and before adding the water mobs were spawning and after building the first 2 layers and adding water they dont spawn anymore. any help?
Your mob cap is filled. To clear the mob cap, switch your game difficulty to Peaceful, wait 5 seconds, then switch it to Hard mode.
Spiders get pushed through and go through the windows of the kill chamber is there anything I can do to fix it?
Build a box around yourself when you afk.
How did you deal with baby zombies? Or would they still be a issue

I've build the farm and didnt spawn anything. I've made a perimeter around of 111x111. The minimum layer of ground height it's 63 and the height for the floor whith water it's 164. I've extended the last layer 16 blocks in each direction. After of all of this nothing changed.
I'm thinking the issue is for the biome. (I built it in the middle of a river). Some idea?
Unfortunately hostile mobs do not spawn in river biomes.

Simulation distance of 4 chunks

Render distance is how far you can see. Simulation distance is how far away the game will continue to run mechanics like mob spawn.
Is it 100 % sure that it will work if I build it on the ocean correctly with the same amont of layers ? I want to be sure cause some people are saying in the comment that no mobs are spawning and i dont want to do the same mistake as them but i dont know what their mistake is. Pls help me 😢🙏
Yes it will work. The issue that they are encountering is that they are building this in Java Minecraft and this farm only works on bedrock. And also their mob cap is usually filled after they build this farm so no mobs spawn, to fix this just switch your game difficulty to peaceful, wait 30 sec and switch it to hard mode.

No, I recorded this on the latest version of Bedrock (1.20.81), and as you can see in the video, the mobs still spawn.

Should still work, although I suggest building you farm at least 80 blocks from the ocean surface.

Yes! But ONLY substitute the smooth stone blocks with dirt.
Hi, I’ve tried to build this in bedrock, above the ocean around y-240+. Barely anything is spawning here.(I’ve place a pathway for the mobs to fall and I’ve switch the simulation distance to 8 chunk)
Hello I suggest building this farm at y level 158, and having your simulation distance at 4. I don’t know the implications of building this farm at y 240.

Yes! Just make sure you're at least 100 blocks away from the highest block in the area where you want to build!
How to open the world, i downloaded the latest world from your discord but i dont know how to open it

How to deal with spiders? They usually don't fit in the 2x2 area
Spiders fit inside the 2 by 2 area and will get killed by the trident killers

No, just make sure to spawn proof the area around the farm.
Can I increase the height to take down mobs easier and increase the fall damage?
Yes you can increase the height of the farm if you also increase your simulation distance.

What type of loot is it you need? You may be better with a creeper farm after the update changes spawns

Absolutely! This farm takes full advantage of the 4 chunk simulation distance. Just be sure to increase your simulation distance before adding any more layers!

This is a bedrock only farm, if built in java this will not work. Also your mob cap is filled, turn your game difficulty to peaceful, wait 30 sec then switch it to hard mode.
Why up to level 158? Or doesnt it matter?
To isolate from the ground, otherwise mobs will spawn on the ground instead of your farm
