“Common questions” Q: What should I do if my farm isn’t spawning any mobs? A: If your farm is built on land, make sure to light up every cave and surface area around it. If mobs still don't spawn, your mob cap might be filled. To clear it, switch your game difficulty to Peaceful, wait 30 seconds, then switch it back to Hard mode. If you're still having issues, feel free to reach out to me on Discord. [Invite link](discord.gg/Ayu8qnWt5P) Q: What can I do if spiders are getting stuck or not dying in the farm? A: Try replacing your current trident killer with the one I showcase in this [video](ruclips.net/video/o-MOSFSkyvQ/видео.htmlsi=5Zcm2c7_jVUOzLGo). The trident killer setup is shown at 0:22, and I recommend AFKing directly under or next to the wall at 1:28 in the video. Also, consider increasing the drop-down area from 2x2 to 3x3, as shown at 2:10. Q: How can I collect XP from the farm? A: Replace one of the glass blocks on top of the piston (with the lever) with a top slab. Stand close to the slab to allow the XP to flow toward you. Q: How far do I have to build the farm from other hostile mob farms? A: A minimum of 150 blocks away. Q: What is the purpose of scaffolding, and can I replace it with something else? A: No, you cannot replace the scaffolding. Mobs do not spawn on flowing water, so the scaffolding is used to allow mobs to spawn inside it. This works because mobs will spawn if the block beneath the scaffolding is spawnable. Since the water is at head height, it also pushes them down as soon as they spawn, without affecting mob spawning. Q: Does a big lake quantify as ocean biome? A: No, make sure you’re in an ocean biome and not some lake or river biome, as mobs do not spawn in it.
For anyone who is making this farm, I built it with 7 layers and got barely any spawns. I then noticed that I was probably too close to the spawning platforms near where the trident killer is. Hello! You don't need to build the entire farm for it to work; a single layer will suffice. Make sure you're playing on Minecraft Bedrock Edition (this will not work in Java) and have built the farm at least 100 blocks away from the highest block in the area. If not, spawn-proof the caves and surface blocks within a 48-block radius of the farm center. If mobs still don't spawn, your mob cap might be taken by other mobs. Switch your game mode to Peaceful, wait 5 seconds, then switch it back to Hard.

Chicos algo muy importante es que tienen que hacerlo en un OCEANO, para saberlo tienen que entrar a una página llamada "chunk base", entran, ponen su semilla y versión, se puede ver si es oceano con un color azul, si es rio será un colo azul claro
@@ExileNexus Thank you very much, it worked perfectly, I just want to ask a question: is it possible to make it much higher and use the fall to kill them?
In Bedrock Edition, mobs can spawn inside scaffolding if the block beneath it is spawnable. Water at the "head height of the mobs" so this doesn’t affect mob spawning.
It does work on land, but you'll need to spawn-proof every cave and surface around the farm. I strongly recommend building this in an ocean biome to avoid spawn-proofing, but ensure it's an ocean biome, not a lake or river.
This farm utilizes the full stimulation distance of 4 (default) to add more layers you need to increase the simulation distance so that the game will spawn mobs farther away from you.
With a simulation distance of 5, you can build more than 13 layers. I don’t have the setting to set my world to a simulation distance of 5, so I don’t know the exact number.
At 1:18 instead of doing the other 4 observers facing into the first 2, you can just replace them with putting redstone torches on the back of the pistons
Hi there, I built this just the other day. I wanna ask is there a way to stop the exp orbs from getting stuck in the hoppers? I'd have to circle the trident champer just to pick them up

Please answer the following. 1. What version of Minecraft are you running? 2. Did you build it on land? 3. Did you build the farm in an ocean biome or river biome? 4. What is specifically the issue you’re facing with the farm.
I've build the farm and didnt spawn anything. I've made a perimeter around of 111x111. The minimum layer of ground height it's 63 and the height for the floor whith water it's 164. I've extended the last layer 16 blocks in each direction. After of all of this nothing changed. I'm thinking the issue is for the biome. (I built it in the middle of a river). Some idea?

Insane I’ll never have to waste hours to get fireworks again! (Built with 7 layers)
Great to hear!
@@ExileNexusdoes it smooth stone/smooth quartz or can it just be any blocks?
Any solid block will work
Can would it be possible to use slabs as a floor for each spawning platform?
Since using slabs increases spawn rates
I have never heard of slabs increasing spawn rate. I suggest following the tutorial to decrease any issues with the farm.
I'm Brazilian and I'm going to test your tutorial on building this MobTrap, I hope it works.
Good luck!
@@ExileNexus Thank you very much, it worked perfectly, I just want to ask a question: is it possible to make it much higher and use the fall to kill them?
@@ExileNexus You already have my like and my subscription ^^
Thank you!
Can i use campfires instead of magma blocks?
Exile Nexus, I am wondering if this farm works or not, since mobs do not spawn on water.
Can you please give me an detailed description?
Thank you.
In Bedrock Edition, mobs can spawn inside scaffolding if the block beneath it is spawnable. Water at the "head height of the mobs" so this doesn’t affect mob spawning.
@@ExileNexus oh wow thanks! wasn't expecting your reply this soon.
Simple question: does it work on land and does it effect mobs spawning?
It does work on land, but you'll need to spawn-proof every cave and surface around the farm. I strongly recommend building this in an ocean biome to avoid spawn-proofing, but ensure it's an ocean biome, not a lake or river.
@@ExileNexus thanks
no worries!
are necessary that are used for the floor?
I have a question, if I make the layers where the mobs will spawns with slabs, will it changes the efficiency of the farm?
No, but I don't think you can place scaffolding on top of slabs.
What is the AFK bro point?
And how much does the simulation distance have to be?
@@pelotudo6901 shown at the end of the video. Default simulation distance of 4
If I want to make this again how far apart should it be?
You just earn a new sub BTW may I ask can I build 15 layers? And thank you ❤
You need to increase your simulation distance in order to build more layers
@@ExileNexuswhat does this mean
This farm utilizes the full stimulation distance of 4 (default) to add more layers you need to increase the simulation distance so that the game will spawn mobs farther away from you.
@@ExileNexushow do you change your simulation distance when you already made the world?
its work bro thanks
No problem
Great video. Do you have any specific recommendations for where I should build my AFK spot?
Refer to 7:38
Can I add another trident to the trident killer to speed up time to kill. Since this will increase spawn rates
Sure
❤My question is, how many layers are needed for this mobile phone? Thank you
13 layers for default simulation distance (4)
@@ExileNexus Brother, I don't have 4, I have the lowest number of 5
With a simulation distance of 5, you can build more than 13 layers. I don’t have the setting to set my world to a simulation distance of 5, so I don’t know the exact number.
Would building four modules around the player increase item drops?

@@ExileNexusbro help me

@@ExileNexus bro I did but still can’t get spawns
At 1:18 instead of doing the other 4 observers facing into the first 2, you can just replace them with putting redstone torches on the back of the pistons
Good idea ice block 👍 no more infinite water
Thank you!
If I build two identical farms with 13 floors next to each other, will the result double? Or could one farm nerf the other?
You can build 4 identical farms around you, spaced out evenly so that they each have their own "mob cap." This will quadruple the output.
@@ExileNexushow can you exactly build the water flow for the mobs to get killed bro? Can you do a vid about the quadruple one?
@Exile Nexus spiders aren’t getting killed by the tridents killer is there a way to fix it ?

How many block should I build between the trident killer and the spawning layers?
Refer to the tutorial.
Hi there, I built this just the other day. I wanna ask is there a way to stop the exp orbs from getting stuck in the hoppers? I'd have to circle the trident champer just to pick them up
I’m having the same issue 😅
Both of you will need to replace the trident killer system with this one.
[ Link: ruclips.net/video/o-MOSFSkyvQ/видео.htmlsi=oEQ1NljL82mZiM6W ]
The trident killer is shown at 0:22. You will also need to AFK a bit lower. I suggest AFKing directly under or next to the wall shown at 1:28.
@@ExileNexus thanks a lot for the tips!

do i need to use smooth stone or i can just use other blocks like stone bricks?
@@sirrakun you can substitute any solid blocks I used for any solid blocks you have

What is the render distance needed to use this farm?
Simulation distance of 4 chunks
So I can make more layers? And if so then how many layers can I do for 8 chunks.
Render distance is how far you can see. Simulation distance is how far away the game will continue to run mechanics like mob spawn.
This has been working okay for me but I’m just going to ask is this a console or pc farm?
Any device that runs Minecraft bedrock. Eg. Consoles, Switch, Mobile, Minecraft windows.
Does this one give XP, too? Or just mob drops?
XP and mob drops farm. Just replace one of the glass block on top of the piston (with the lever) with a top slab. Stand close to the slab to allow XP to flow towards you.
I made this farm and I already built everything as the tutorial says but the mobs are not generated to me. What do you recommend me to do?

@@ExileNexus Bro, I tried again but it didn't help me.
Some idea?
Unfortunately hostile mobs do not spawn in river biomes.
@@ExileNexus I've rebuild the farm in another place and works perfectly.
