This is definitely the easiest way to build a five point star. Thanks for sharing your skills.
Thanks for stopping by!
Very good!! I watching from Brazil.

Thanks for watching!
Good job and project thx for sharing enjoyed it Keep building
Thanks for stopping by, Larry!
Fantastic with lots of potential for colour schemes etc. I'm just wondering about concealing the battery pack whilst also making it accessible?
I had mine on a wooden Christmas tree that I put velcro on the back and on the battery pack.
Thanks Ronnie. That's got me thinking about maybe a pedestal or pole and velcro@@RonniesWorkshop
Great project and video.
Some random observations:
Cut the pieces from a wider board and rip ¾" off for the front star before assembly.
If the front star was made slightly smaller it would leave a nice border/reveal. Glue the cellophane to the back side of the front star. Add a contrasting color or reflective accent (foil duct sealing tape?) or another string of lights.
Reflective back layer to easily "double" the number of lights.
Do I smell a star cutlist generator app?
Glad I got you thinking! That's the point of these videos. Thanks for watching.
What would cause the star to be off center. I use 1.5 x 1.5 wood. All corners are exactly as in the video. But just looking at the start, it's clearly 1/8 to 3/8" off center.
wood should be 3/4" thick by whatever depth you want.
Do you apply heat the cellophane to smooth it out? Using a heat gun or hair dryer?
I didn't but that's a great idea!
Haveing a really rough time getting my item sold, I waited a few days, then dropped the price and added ad boost, my listing has been “under review” for almost 16hours. Does anyone else have experience with this, I’m already below break even if I can sell this project (entryway bench) at all.
Hey Jeffrey, I've had to wait awhile before (24hrs) before FB added the boost. It can be frustrating for sure. One other thing, have you also posted it on your local buy/sell FB groups? You can add I believe up to 13 groups. That's more potential people seeing your ad. Hang in there!
