- I like VOID Linux it's such a great distro with faster init system and it is more minimal than Arch :D.

Wow nice rice and bar
What font are you using? Looks like some form of Iosevka. Great rice BTW
Iosevka for terminal and bar and roboto condensed for other programs.
@@primalkz thanks
How you have make floating the terminal at time 1:06
Super + S It's default bsp key binding
Nice video! May I ask how did you get that Powerline aspect in polybar? I don't find an explanation in the dotfiles
Nice man
I have a question when I put the polybar it does not appear with arrows and the rounded one of rofi has a black background
how adding "took" in your shell
Powerline still is the thing xD
Yess
Nice job
I like it.🎉🎉
Very nice! Which image viewer are you using with ranger?
ueberzug
@Deepak Negi yes ueberzug just works better than w3m
The background is nice, a question how did you put so that you get the use of the cpu and ram memory on the desktop?
that's probably polybar
wallpaper pls ?
chad
It's cool man
thanks
Wow is amazing, how you have make it? (I read the description but i have tried another (non yours) and i have it buggy, i have only to copy the all files on the .config home folder?
Yes you have to copy but you also need all these programs right so have you installed all of them?
@@primalkzI have bspwm, neofetch, polybar and shkcpy
Ok i tried but the font is become very bigger and i have the text: xbps-updates not found (i think i have to search this line and change to pacman -Syu
Hi sir ¿ what's the name of file explorer through the terminal ? ( my english is not perfect sir )
It's called ranger (the one shown in the terminal)
Would you be kind enough to tell me how to configure the polybar on various monitors, I have looked for information about it but what I find does not work for me, I am new to linux and I really like your config. Thanks
first you need to find out your displays
xrandr -q | grep -w connected
then you have to add another [bar/bar2] with monitor=DISPLAY_NAME
(whatever name it shows in the xrandr output) module line in the config for the other monitor. Next you need to add this line in launch script polybar bar2 -c PATH_TO_CONFIG that should should work.
@@primalkz Thank you very much really, I had been trying for a week to make it work and it was not working, really thank you very much.
@@h0id_ No problem. ☺
Nice setup!!
Can i get your wallpaper ?
Can you add a setup or tutorial to your dotfiles? I'm a beginner here, most dotfiles don't provide a guide on how to install it. I have tried various dotfiles which don't have installation guide but most of them have error or some display not showing. I think there is still something to install or configure besides USED STUFF or other.
Most of the dotfiles that have a installation guide using arch, I'm trying to move to void. It would be very helpful if experienced people help beginners.
Hey how you resize windows with drag ?
With super key and mouse
what icon theme are you using?
Polybar 😏
ik the bar is a little meh
what audio player and visualizer r u using?
I am using ncmpcpp as music player and cava as visualizer.
@@primalkz Thank you!
But why this is using too much ram
how did you do that
I customized window manager and other programs
"More minimal than Arch" excuse me, Whazefak?
Man i don't know how to install MPD on void Linux. Can u help me? I mean, I have to do a " $ sudo ln -s.... etc etc?
No you don't need to set mpd as a service
You can just start it as "mpd" inside bspwmrc for bspwm or just from the shell.
do you have a matching GTK theme?
yes a dark bluish material gtk theme
@@primalkz ok thanks
@@rawmaterials3909 if you want I can zip it and give to you
@@primalkz is it difficult to find? if you can, many thanks!
@@rawmaterials3909 no you can use oomox to build custom theme and I have uploaded the theme.. sorry for delay :) 0x0.st/-xGF.zip
