I am not so sure about that Laureato. The 41mm versions are in the bargain bin territory. Just bought a Black Ceramic version vor 8,300 Euro still under warranty 18 months old. Retailed for 21k
Which is why Rolex is a mass produced, middle range, tool watch and always has been. Stop investing in this over hyped watch. With the exception of a steel datejust the rest of the range is really only for arrogant bankers, Russian gangsters and Chinese fake product makers.
Hello and thanks for this video. IMHO, collecting watches is not about to gain, but about to enjoy. One surprise with this list, the Laureato. But Gérald Genta's style watches are now so over hyper, even when the watch hasn't been created by "the genius" himself, as this Laureato.
@@Christophe-k8s the laureato was not created by genta as you said and that is totally fine with me. As an owner of a few laureatos, I find them to be extremely comfortable and understated “quiet luxury”. I also love my royal oaks … quite different in looks and feel from the laureato. Both beautiful.
before around 2007 when most ppl knew only Rolex... that was a great time for true collectors. now every dumb ass is into mechanical watch. i hope those ppl find some other thing to spend money on and these watch youtubes dissapear sometime soon

@@koolpep the 41 mm laureato ref 81000 is such a great watch. Same thickness as the 38 mm Love it.
Rolex is making 1 million ++ watches a year. Not a “quarter of a million” watches.
Maybe meant to say “ a million and a quarter watches?” 1.25 million watches would be about right from sources I’ve seen

The laureato 38mm blue recently became my grail… then I realised how depleted the market is! No go for me I guess 😂
