I would visit just so I could deep clean! I want to take a Magic Eraser to that front door. 😆 I love to clean, declutter and organize, and that entire property is a dream come come true. 🤣
Are you going to Dry Lock your concert block walls in the wet room? It will help seal the block from absorbing moisture. It would be nice to see some black iron pipe suspended from the ceiling for a shower curtain. It would provide some privacy and keep the water more contained to the drain area.
@@susannbeard4331 It will probably be something along those lines to start with them a little later on I can start getting a little more elaborate with it.
I'm glad you guys had the good sense to put yourselves first and have a day away from videos and YT yesterday. We all need to keep in mind that real life comes first. Be as kind to yourselves as you can be while undertaking all these onerous tasks.
Wow. What a fantastic greenhouse. You could always grow sweetcorn. Tomatoes and melons and sell them by the boatlaunch. Here in mid Misouri homegrown Tomatoes sell for 4.00 a lb and corn always sells out. Black Diamond watermelons sell for 15.00 a piece.
You are moving along very well. The bathroom & kitchen are the most expensive & time consuming. And of course the most needed. Keep working at your pace. When you need time off take it. You aren't punching a time clock. You don't have to film everyday either. You now work for you, you set the rules.
With me being a Plumber , first thing I'd be doing is sorting out that shower drain to make sure it actually works. I do hope the "wet room" works for you . That's alot of water proofing needed to he done . Look forward to see what you plan to do with the water lines too. I have an idea myself but I don't have a good over all view of the bathroom layout . Don't stress to much , every project can be made fun
@@Dreamwoodhomestead2021 Just finished watching your first video you did great 👍. Took me like a Month to get my first 10 Subs 2nd Month 120, Third 1000+
They have immersable rods that heat water on amazon really cheap. They work great. We had one to heat water back in the 60's They were called a water bug back then. Much easier than heating water on the stove. My sis and i were always afraid we would electrocute ourselves but we never did 😊
HI Lacey, hopefully that was the last day of it. Back to the plumbing today. Might have to do it one more time just depends on the drain situation. We'll see😊
Did you say you were going to keep the washer in the bathroom? Not a bad idea if there is room for it. Since you got that nasty tub out it looks like a fairly roomy bathroom. I hope plumbing everything back in doesn't take too long. And I hope your drain situation turns out ok too. I bet it smells a lot better.
Morning James, tks so much for video and update. Sure hope you got my information from Christa. Will you be paintung b4 you place sink and tiolet in? Ok I got Denist appt today, so will be back soon. Much love to you and Louie.... Please let me know you got my message. Tks
Gray water in a bathroom is never a good idea when you're on a septic line. You need the water from the sink and shower to help keep that line flushed out. It's fine for kitchens but never bathrooms.
Bathroom is starting to look better, are u going to use kilz on the walls in there, can't wait to see it all finished! ..when u router out the drain u might find roots growing in it..they are the worst...u and Dana are doing a Stellar job on the house ..love the videos
Thank God! Now it's just the drain situation to overcome. It won't be pretty but I'm just shooting for functionality for now. I can pretty it up over the winter 😊
James you have done a remarkable service to mankind by eradicating the biological affront to humanity All power to you both and as someone else said I am on the edge of my (toilet) seat 🚽
@@cohort2001 Thanks 😂. Wasn't too happy about sitting for my morning crap on a bucket today but I do have to take into consideration the lives that I have saved.
A few videos back you mentioned that you were going to have the Septic Tank sucked out. Did that already happen? I am so interested in how all this is going to happen with the strange setup that is in place. I wish you all the luck in the world on this project. It seems very confusing to me. I will tell you again. I have to do a reroute on my toilet line. Trees to close to my house grew under my slab and broke my line. They told me that they could finance a payment plan for me. So I want to remind you of that. You may want to call in a plumber company and ask if they could fix something on credit plan. It is a last option. But, it could help you.
Don,t you have a bunch of cinder blockes setting out there somewhere ? Use them and some quickrete concrete mix .(60lb bag at Homedepot $3.98 )to make a wall for the shower .

The wtf bathroom is looking more normal now , in this scenario normal is a good thing ! You are both doing an amazing job !

Good suggestions. And if he installs a shower curtain to keep the water splatter contained, he won't have to build a wall near the electrical box.

Why could you not move your bathroom electricals into the kitchen on the wall that separates those two rooms?
Now that is a good idea. Just feed those electrics back thru the ceiling to the outside wall.
Have the sepic system pumped out so you can start fresh.
Next year I'll have more to invest in the property for now it's nickel and dime time😊
Bet it smells a lot better than it did. Thanks for the updates.

Not sure, but if you had a front loader bucket on your tractor, you can dump all that stuff into it and haul where you need to,save your back!
I do have one but I still have to get it out to the driveway been just using the truck to take it to my dumping area.
